The upcoming K-movie Harbin, starring Hyun BinPark Jeong MinJo Woo Jin, Lee Dong Wook, Yoo Jae Myung, Park Hoon and Jeon Yeo Been, has been officially invited to the Gala Presentations section of the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, rare among films set in the era of the Japanese occupation of Korea to be invited to an international film festival. The production company also unveiled the film's international poster and teaser.

Harbin is a thrilling espionage drama film set in 1909, about Korean independence activists fighting against the Japanese for Korea's independence. 

Hyun Bin plays Ahn Jung Geun, a Korean independence fighter.

The poster features the silhouettes of independence fighters Ahn Jung Geun (Hyun Bin), Woo Deok Soon (Park Jeong Min), Kim Sang Hyun (Jo Woo Jin), and Gong Bu In (Jeon Yeo Been).

In the teaser, Ahn Jung Geun reveals his motive: "I still have work to do." "The leader of the Japanese wolves ravaging Korea. I must kill that old wolf at all costs."

With breathtaking cinematography featuring shots taken in Mongolia, Latvia, and Korea, and passionate performances, Harbin promises to captivate unfailingly. 

Harbin will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and is scheduled for domestic release in the latter half of 2024. Watch the teaser here
