"Castaway Diva" starring Park Eun Bin confirmed to premiere next month!

Park Eun Bin is returning to the K-drama scene this year.

On September 14, tvN released the first teaser poster of the upcoming K-drama Castaway Diva. Through the poster, it was also confirmed that the upcoming series will premiere on tvN this coming October. 

Castaway Diva will be led by Park Eun Bin, Chae Jong Hyeop, VIXX's Cha Hak Yeon, Kim Hyo Jin, Kim Joo Heon, and Lee Re.

The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of a woman who got stuck on an uninhabited island while chasing her dreams and trying to participate in an audition in Seoul. 15 years later, she got rescued and still decided to pursue her dream. After being away for 15 years, the woman will struggle to adjust to the modern society. 

Castaway Diva is the collaboration work of director Oh Choong Hwan and writer Park Hye Ryun. They are also known for creating the hit K-dramas Start-Up and While You Were Sleeping. The K-drama will be produced by Studio Dragon, Wind Pictures, and Kakao Entertainment.

The upcoming series will be part of tvN's Saturday and Sunday K-drama timeslot. Aside from the broadcast channel, OTT platform Netflix will also release the K-drama to their platform.

Castaway Diva will have a total of 12 episodes and will begin airing starting next month. 

Park Eun Bin will portray the role of Mok Ha. Ever since she was little, she has been dreaming of becoming a singer. During middle school, Mokha went missing and ended up on a deserted island. She survived the island for 15 years alone. 

Many are already anticipating the follow-up project of Park Eun Bin ever since she skyrocketed to fame through Extraordinary Attorney Woo. The actress challenged herself once again with another genre.

After Castaway Diva, it is expected that Park Eun Bin will return to the new season of Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2. 

Park Eun Bin made a guest appearance in the recently released movie Boston 1947 led by Ha Jung Woo, Bae Sung Woo, and ZE: A's Yim Si Wan.
