A fundamental question which is asked over and over again, came to my mind, is 'happily ever after' real? How could it be? Life is so dynamic, what you like today, you will most likely not have the same feelings about it 5 years down the line. Then, what about our favourite characters from our cherished dramas? Let's take a look into their lives in 2018, shall we?
Note- As I watch only Korean Dramas, this article is solely based on popular Korean Dramas.

BOYS OVER FLOWERS
So, after Gu Jun Pyo returns to Korea he proposes marriage to Geum Jan Di. Let's say she married him, but where are they after 9 years?
Jan Di, a mother of two, is frustrated with her arrogant and workaholic husband. As Jan Di was studying to become a doctor, she gets a degree, but she is so bad at it she cannot practice it, so she is a stay-at-home mom. Her monotonous routine is taking a toll on her, and she is going through a mid-life crisis.
As for Gu Jun Pyo, he is so engrossed in the business in this modern competitive world, he spends most hours in his office and is ultimately infected with the virus of greed for more and more power.
Ji Hoon is still the lovesick second lead. Every time Jan Di discusses her problems with him, his hopes for a future with her becomes brighter and brighter, because some things never change.
