City boys experience wild nature
I was excited to watch the first episode of these four famous South Korean actors experiencing the mother nature here in Finland. At first maybe a bit confused, but soon enjoying relaxing scenery by the lake and eating wild blueberries. They have a lovely sense of humour, which adds to the charms of this Tv Show. I have seen many of Cha Eun-woo's, Lee Je Hoon's and Kwak Dong Yeon's dramas but haven't had the chance to watch any of Lee Dong Hwi's. It's fascinating to see them in different, everyday setting without the lime light they usually experience.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Imagine having your favorite actors visit your country
Wow, wow that’s all I can say right now. I’m super excited to watch the rest of the series and see how the boys live in nature especially Finnish nature. I live in Finland and I’ve never experienced nature like they do, so good luck to the them. I love everything in the show and their chemistry is incredible. Don’t even get me started with all the comedy in the show… Lee Je Hoon.. 😆? I literally just finished taxi driver 1 and 2, I was so happy when they included little snippets of the ost in the show (still can’t get over taxi driver, most perfect kdrama ever). Anyway can’t wait for the rest of the show to come out!!!Esta resenha foi útil para você?

A feast for the eyes and soul
Watching this series is such a healing experience, thanks to the beauty of Finland's nature and lots of adorable animals. You get to know more about the actors Kwak Dong Yeon, Lee Je Hoon, Cha Eun Woo and Lee Dong Hwi and witness their sometimes hilarious interactions. Seeing them learn how to live off-grid and practice their cooking skills is entertaining. The pace feels slow but it fits with the theme of living a slowed down lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I do wish there had been a bit more interaction with the people of Lapland though, perhaps additional sharing of food and culture or extended conversations.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Full joy, laughter and epic nature scenes
It was far better than I expected! Lee Je Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, Cha Eun Woo and Dong Hwi worked really well together and made this series a truly entertaining watch with a lot of moments that make you laugh.Kwak Dong Yeon is a total perfectionist and I loved the way he cooks. Cha Eun Woo also surprised me with his skills. He is also bubbling with naughtiness. Lee Je Hoon is as sweet as expected and his willingness to try and work hard is cute. Dong Hwi is serious but also manages to make the others crack up with his straight faced lines.
It is quite insightful into how people of Lapland live. It is certainly not an easy lifestyle but seems peaceful in a way. Unfortunately it didn't make me want to stay in a place like Lapland because I need my convenience electricity, water and proper toilets. The show is a good way to live vicariously through these 4 men's experiences. It also made me want to try cooking some of the Korean dishes.
I love that the series had a wonderful collection of songs especially English ones. And you also find the 4 cast members singing and enjoying themselves frequently.
It is hard to say much without giving away the best moments but it will certainly make you belly laugh at multiple instances. So do give it a watch!

Interesting Show Concept
There is so much to say about this production. The production was well thought out and put together. The four actors seemed to work well together. But as someone who could be their parent and having grown up differently than all of them, I found myself saying things like “you never have done this?” or “Why don’t you know about that?”. I realize culturally we all are different and that molds us into the person we are but many times I wanted to jump in to the TV to help them! It was an enjoyable lightheaded series. I believe they all grew by this experience.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

I love this team of 4 Korean actors/singers and also the fairytale destination: Lapland. A wild land full of lakes and nature. In the first few episodes I laughed and smiled a lot. They too had fun and tried new things. Wild life: fishing, cooking outdoors, camping in tents, chopping wood, making fires, saunas... They have adapted to living in quiet places without WIFI and electricity. They had barbecues and activities such as reindeer yoga, husky walking, riding horses...
They met friendly Finns and ate local food like reindeer burgers.
I liked seeing the boy Cha Eun Woo and not the star version, his shyness and his childish pranks, as well as Kwak Dong Yeon a real countryman or Lee Je Hoon a little awkward or the citizen Lee Dong Hwi.
Disconnecting from their stressful life I think was a positive break. I was happy for them.

I finished Rented in Finland and came away with a new appreciation for Finland and for Kwak Dong-yeon, who was the star of the show. It was fun to watch. But there are a couple of things that I wish had been done differently. First, I kept hoping to see some reference to or acknowledgement of the Sami people. All we saw were Scandinavian Finns. Second, the fangirly written commentary about Cha Eun-woo’s looks got old fast but were repeated over and over again. I started to feel sorry for him. Such pressure.
