Resenhas
Decent actors, decent music, decent production but the soryline is not good
Overall, the acting, in a vacuum, is not that bad. I will say that Itsaree lacks facial expressions to carry out emotions through the screen. Maybe because of that, you can perceive chemistry between Itsaree and Pronyanee characters only so often. Or maybe it's the storyline that makes these characters uncomfortable to watch. It feels like they are uncomfortable with each other too. And while that works at the beginning, at the end it makes no sense. Despite that, overall acting is not that bad.But even the best actors could not carry the plot of the show. Let's start with the random time jumps. There is no explanation, sometimes no reason, logic or visible change between them. Has it been a few hours? A day? A week? A month? Who knows! Certainly not the viewer. Nor the writers, either, it seems. How can a story, in 20-30 min, jump 6 months, with 'checkpoints' at 1 day, 3 days, a month, 3 months, and 6 months? And most importantly, why?
Second, there is nothing new about telling a story through two time paradigms: past and present. That's fine. It can be interesting. It is always interesting to see different, but similar situations with different but similar choices generations will make. And how those choices either repeat the history or paint a new path. Except, the time jumps were so random and all over the place. It really ruins the emotional rollercoaster the viewer expects to experience while watching a drama. Instead of expanding the story, it makes it narrow and shallow.
Finally, continuity. Or lack there of. In this drama, big events happen too fast, while small and insignificant ones are dragged out for no reason, making something out of nothing. Protagonists don't experience any growth. One antagonist is villainized, depicted lacking a moral compass and being proud of it, yet somehow, being friends with everyone? The other antagonist is so insignificant, the viewer will forget their existence the moment they are no longer on a screen.
Honestly, it feels like this story was written for 16 episodes or 2 seasons, but carried out in only 8. But instead of cutting down on the content, the plot is being shoved down a viewer's throat as fast as possible, giving the viewers more whiplashes than they can count. No wonder there is a lack of chemistry between the lead characters. Instead of creating this complex storyline, the series would have benefited from 1-2 conflicts, focusing on character depth. Because the production itself was not bad with decent actors, decent music and decent sets. It's just the story... As I repeated many times while watching "literally - nothing happened" the entire time.

Don't waste your time
I really truly have nothing positive to say the story was confusing and horrible. Prey seem to be preyed upon she acted like she was a nine years old throughout the whole story and I can honestly say she was the best of the actors like there may be hope for her in the future because she's so young. The placements of the flashbacks was in random spots I don't know how there was an accident on a boat in France but they ended up in Thailand. I don't understand why she faked her death for months to avoid marrying someone that she could have just said no to. It's so confusing.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
