Go ahead: siblings to lovers? Nah jk jk "adopted" siblings to best friends to lovers
The bickering, the feistiness is thereee
Love next door: it's like if FL of go ahead ended up with the second "adopted" sibling lol

• Both these dramas have Jung So Min as the female lead
• In both the dramas the situation of the female lead is kinda similar...not exactly both the characters had a hard time in their job ..both of them ended up quitting their job
• Both the dramas are slice of life and focuses on relationship between family and friends

• "Cancer trope"
• Fls have mother issues ( and also they have same issues with their brothers..to think they both have similar kind of family)
• "Stars in the ceiling"
• Both fls kept their illness hidden from their parents
• Relationship development because of a terminal disease
• Both the MLS are best friend irl ( idk why I added this :) )

both fls face similar situations of exhaustion and making rash life decisions all at once. while love next door is a bit more comedic imo, i think both are wonderful shows that resemble each other.

Both leads were childhood friends, where both of their families were tangled in the past. At first, ML hated FL and gradually fell for FL. As they grew up, they were estranged and reconnected years later.

Childhood friends to lovers...exact same dynamic between the leads!!
Context is different: into the ring the leads meet again in the same work environment (politics oriented)
Love next door focuses more Abt the leads but each their own struggles in work life and personal life but they meet again cz they live in the same neighborhood

Both dramas feature a family centric plot with romance, parent son/daughter relationships, and a community raises a village underlying message.

Betrothed by their families when they were kids, forced to "tolerate" each other in school, developed feelings by the end of it and meet again in university to lovers.
Difference: FL is more feisty in love next door
Recomendado por Hala
the plot for fl in love next door might be a bit more emotionally mature than the plot for fl in love is sweet
fl in love is sweet goes through a character development in a professional sense and her plot is related to her father
in love next door the character arc is very personal and mental
in both cases male leads take appropriate steps next to fl to help them through their obstacles

High school sweethearts to lovers in adult life
Difference:
-in wifty it's calmer? FL is energetic and cheerful extrovert but ML is introvert and more mature?
-in love next door I know ML is mature but in FL presence oh he's gonna match her energy alright

- The female leads in both dramas had similar experiences with their previous jobs.
- Both of them have a male childhood friend by their side—the male lead from Love Next Door is an architect, and the male lead from Dear My Room works in interior design.
- Both dramas are slice-of-life, but Love Next Door has more humorous moments and a lot of bickering between the main leads, while Dear My Room is more of a relaxing/slowburn drama, with the leads having a calmer relationship.
- Both dramas have Yun Ji On as one of the mains.

Don't be reluctant to watch Dear My Room because of its rating. Personally, I loved it and think it's underrated. It may be rated this way because it’s heavy on slice-of-life and interior design, and the romance progresses slowly. However, it's very relaxing and has become one of my comfort dramas.

One word CHILDHOOD LOVE!!

Similarities:
-One of the main leads goes to The United States for a while.
- Both ML are in their 30s and have successful careers.
- Both FL are in a "slump" and are struggling to succeed.
- After not seeing each other for a long time, they return fully, always budding heads.
- Both ML had a tough childhood with bullies but the FL came to the rescue.
- Both FL overreact to almost everything.

Differences:
-In Oh Youngsim the ML had already confessed his feelings towards the FL while they were young.
- In Oh Youngsim they are both heavily involved in one another work.
-The main lead reason for coming to Korea is different.
- Both have family relationships, but Love Next Door takes it up a notch.
