Great Watch! A couple of boring moments...
Typically, if I enjoy the kissing scenes and shed a couple of tears, I would totally give it a 10 since I don't think I am a picky watcher. It's a great watch but there isn't a very deep scene that I would choose to rewatch. I always love to rewatch dramas that make me tear up but this drama is not that type. It's fun to watch the FL succeeds steps by steps getting her revenge and reaching her final destination. My favorite scenes were on the ML who did great on showing his gentle side and heartbreaks. I shed tears watching him going through all the sacrifices. He was cute, handsome, and a total gentleman!!!
FL is not my favorite type of actress but I think she did great! I felt the second FL and ML were a bit exaggerating. I fast forwarded a lot of their scenes. The ending was great but it did get a bit boring. Part of me, I just wanted to get it over with.
If you like the ML, you WILL find it worth it.

"hope for who needed a second chance"
the world is unfair but the gods of time traveling are not! experience the feelings from Jiwon and from the people around her in her new life was an incredible and surprising experience. the characters are well crafted and captivating, while the antagonists made me feel immensely angry. the drama made a great and well-developed use of clichés and worked incredibly well with the feelings they wanted to provoke in the viewer, and that's whats most important to me. accompany Kang Jiwon's journey in her new chance was a wonderful journey.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

If only they didn't change so many good points from the webtoon
At the beginning i was excited to see the little changes from the webtoon like how they got to know they turned back in time from BTS songs just these small changes. I hoped they could have kept how so mi will kill her mother in law and i was disappointed because they didn't go further in the love story of the other couplesEsta resenha foi útil para você?
Revenge is best served in 12 episodes!
I didn't initially have any interest in watching this drama but then a recommendation from a friend led me to give it a chance and I'm glad I watched it. It's such a deliciously satisfying story of revenge and payback.Summary: Woman gets betrayed. Woman dies. She transmigrates to ten years earlier. Woman gets revenge!
This is a very fun show to watch. It's super satisfying too. Though episodes 12 to 16 just nosedived into hell and I can't even pretend to like that bit. The ending was extremely cringe too. This show should've been 12 episodes and finished with an elegant ending but then they dragged it on with silly subplots for way too long. It was embarrassing. However, the run from episode 1 to 10 was probably one of the most satisfying arcs I've seen in any show. Is it a bit cliche? Yes. Are the actors the best ever? Probably not. Was it a total rip-off of Perfect Marriage Revenge? Sort of? But that's actually a good thing! So if you enjoyed that one, you will definitely love this one too.
The acting was also pretty good. I mean, the main actress was a bit melodramatic and her acting is a bit wishy-washy but the secondary actors were worthy. Like the best friend? She was one of the creepiest characters I've ever watched! BOA is a terrible actress though. Whatever she does...she should just avoid acting. That was so embarrassing. I don't get what the director was thinking with that casting.
Also honestly? I actually watched this twice! So it's one of those rare shows that I consider worth a rewatch.
Music, I only noticed one use of music in this and it was the extremely satisfying use of No More Dream at the end of episode 6. I jumped 50 centimeters up in the air. I'm not even exaggerating. My leg hit the table and I had a nasty bruise afterward. Production-wise, it looks like they worked a lot but honestly? The fashion and general vibe of 2013 is all wrong. Just watch one 2013 show and you'll get what I mean! The fashion follows all the current trends and it's almost like halfway through, they forgot that this was set in the past. The only thing they kept diligently correct was the phone.
Overall, I'd say if you want a wish fulfillment, revenge story with over-the-top fashion and an interesting plot, then go for it but be ready to get really annoyed after episode 11.

Marry My Husband: A Time-Traveling Twist on Revenge
Marry My Husband takes the classic K-drama revenge trope and injects it with a fantastical twist: time travel. While the premise promises high drama and thrilling plotlines, the execution can be uneven at times.Second Chance at First Love, with a Vengeance: Kang Ji-won, betrayed by her husband and best friend, finds herself transported back in time 5 years. Armed with this knowledge, she seeks revenge while also attempting to prevent the events leading to her tragic fate. This sets the stage for a whirlwind of emotions, weaving together themes of betrayal, forgiveness, and second chances.
A Blend of Genres, Unevenly Executed: The show attempts to balance several genres, including revenge drama, romantic comedy, and fantasy. While the time travel element adds intrigue, it can occasionally feel jarring alongside the lighter moments. Additionally, the humor might not land for everyone, with some jokes falling flat.
Compelling Performances Keep You Engaged: Despite the uneven execution, the cast delivers strong performances. Park Min-young charms as the determined and resourceful Ji-won, while the supporting cast adds depth and intrigue to the narrative. The chemistry between the leads is undeniable, adding a layer of heartwarming romance to the complex plot.
A Show for Fans of the Genre with Reservations: If you enjoy K-dramas with a healthy dose of revenge, romance, and a touch of the fantastical, Marry My Husband might be worth checking out. However, be prepared for a show that doesn't shy away from melodrama and might not always strike the perfect balance between its various tones.

Served
As a person who watched "Perfect marriage revenge" before that I have to say: I expected a copy paste just stretched from 12 to 16 episodes. Watch me be happily surprised when that was not the case. It was more deeper that that. This drama is pure perfection in terms of giving everyone what they deserve. As for the characters:***Kang Jiwon-I like her and how she was slaying the whole drama. She knew that with tears you won't achieve much so she grew up mentally and went to take heads off. I like her and i'm happy she is happy.
***Yu Jihyuk- My man was grateful he was even there , and I don't blame him. I like the connection he has with Jiwon . It wasn't just her using him to take it out on her cheating husband and narcissistic "best friend", they really had a conection and i love them for that. Not to mention Jiwon's dad "sending" him as a gift for her. It's the cuuuutest thinggg.
***Park Minhwan- This little b.... deserved more suffering that the drama (and manhua) gave him. He should've lived so he can grow old alone and suffer because of it but someone had to take the destiny to fall on a glass table soooo I'll close my eyes on that.
***Jung Soomin- Idk if it's true but i heard the actress was allegedly a bully so i don't blame her for the good acting. Even if it's not true you have to give it to her that the acting was on point. As for the character.....she should die in a fire for all i care but her mental illness is enough for now.
***Baek Eunho and Yoo Huiyeon- I'm putting them together cus they were made and i mean MADE for each other. I loved them even tho they had very little scenes together. I would've loved it to see their couple moments or smth but oh well i'll try to read the manhua maybe there will be more?
In conclusion: The drama deserves the hype. I don't get the people who overexaggerate that it's bad but everyone has an opinion. I recommend it. As i said many times the drama gave me anew definition to the word "satisfaction " so it's enough for me.
Have a nice watch and if you are reading this, please comment if you are inspired to watch it from my review. I'd like to know what you guys think. Bye Bye.

A GOOD THRILLER REVENGE STORY ( NOTE: NOT A ROM-COM AS SAID IN TAGS !)
I'm still wondering why there is a comedy tag placed first for this series, I thought it would be a comrevenge story but except few scenes there was no comedy in this , STOP misleading watchers with the tags.
Anyway other than that it was good gripping series which keeps you on edge almost every episode with good story line.
Kind of similar concept to perfect marriage revenge but different kind of story. MUST WATCH ATLEAST ONCE.

is amazing story
The story is very interesting, I would have loved to see more second leads but honestly a ten for this kdrama and the plot it has. I didn't want to miss any episodes and, truly, karma would demand it. I thought Sumin would be at a psychiatrist 🤭...Now I will have to recommend this kdrama to my acquaintances. The villains exceeded my expectations and the actors are great in every role they had.
I hope it is one of the dramas of the year and that there are other types of genre like this one that has ended. my Mondays and Tuesdays will be empty 😆🔥

It's a good watch and heartwarming
This is my first review and I felt the need to write this. I personally really really loved this show, especially up to episode eleven. I think I felt mostly frustrated when Ji-Hyuk's ex-fiancé came into the picture. I felt like it was unnecessary and done to fill the 16 episodes. Otherwise, this show was really good.Kang Ji Won: Her character went through immense character development and I personally love seeing that. It was nice to see her fully utilize her second chance at life fully. The only time I found her slightly annoying was when she refused to believe Ji-Hyuk when he said he wasn't having an affair (due to the presence of his ex-fiancé). Otherwise, her character is not feeble, and she takes action to make changes. I also like that she is the director of a foundation that gives people second chances. I like that the directors didn't end the story with her getting married to Ji Hyuk like that was her only purpose. Besides her willful nature allowed her to prevail against her ex-bf and ex-bf (LMAOOOO BOYFIRNED AND BEST FRIEND).
and talking about those two characters....... LORD DID THEY PISS ME OFF!!!😡😡😡😡
Jeong Su-min: The worst character I've come across in a solid while. Like her character was done so well that I would forget she wasn't real and seriously wanted to pull her hair out. Like kudos to her for playing the character so well too. Number one visible factor about her that pissed me off was her smile. LIKE GIRL WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR EYE? Number two, she is the most entitled character I've ever come across. How was she so single-minded? All she saw was herself and her greed was immense. She was manipulative, destructive, violent, aggressive, ridiculous, selfish, harmful, and just unreal. Because I can't imagine an actual human being being ALL of that. And murder on top of it too. Good God saying I hated her is the least of it. Also, her saying her reason for hating Ji-won was because she always seemed happy and started blaming Ji-won for the way she(Su-min) was acting. I just think she was nature evil relative to nurture evil, for a 14-year-old to think that way. She was gradually losing control of her sanity and she actually loses it toward the end.
Park Min-Hwan: LORD HES ACTUAL TRASH!!!! HE TRIED TO GET WITH EVERYONE AND ANYONE. HIS EGO WAS HIGH ABOVE IN THE SKIES. AND HE WAS SEXIST. He really was a pile of trash. His character just progressively got worse. He was an abuser and I really want to blame his mom for half of the reason why he turned out the way he did. He was also another entitled character who was just so hard to shake off. I believe that his mom had a big role as to why he is the way he is- A big man baby. I don't understand why he could never wipe his ass after a dump. Like you have to pick up after yourself. But like Su-min he was single-minded and his immediate solution to everything only harmed other people. There are many ways to do things without harming the people around you. He felt entitled to his own life more than Su-min did, but was more than ready to harm others and he also couldn't hold another human life as valuable as he did his. I could keep going actually but I'd be ranting.
Yu Ji-Hyuk: MY MAN!!!!! 🤭🤭🤭🤭God was he such a green flag. I just love him so much. He was so ready to sacrifice anything and everything for Ji-Won. AND OMG HE HARBORED A CRUSH ON HER FOR ALMOST 15 YEARS (in their first life). He was a major support system to Ji-Won who was given a second chance. Like she became a support system for others in the future with the foundation, he was that to her. And I think it would have been entirely impossible for her to reach where she was without him, not to say that she is incapable, but together they both bettered each other. He allowed her to do everything she wanted (except for the proposal🤭) and he was there for her through and through. I think it would be nice to have such reassurance always. And I'm just so happy that she met him. "I want to be land for you" I think it's so lovely that he came into her life and supported her. I just love his character sm.
Oh Yu Ra: she was just annoying. Hated seeing her. pissed me off sm.
The two parents (Ji Won's mom and Su Min's dad): just crappy characters, money greedy and blind to everything but themselves- even their own kids.
Ji Won's dad: What an Angel bro 😭😭😭😭😭. I'm so sad he didn't get to Ji Won happy but he was the hero of the day. I can't imagine being so loved because he truly loves Ji Won. I'm not quoting him per se but him talking about how sometimes a different path might be better and you might still reach your destination- I will forever remember it, so I'm grateful to his character.
The other characters: Hui Yeon, Eun Ho, The secretary (i forgot his name), Miss Yang, the grandpa, and the cat!!!- just love them all sm.
Overall this drama is such a good watch. I recommend 😊

started off great, ending meh
As stated in the title, the drama started off really intense and I was really excited how the plot unfolds.I liked the characters and they were portrayed really well. They had depth and how the characters developed in the course of the drama was also nice.
However the storyline in the last 5ish episodes was dragged too much, I ended up skipping a lot of parts and got bored a little bit - which is sad, as the plot itself was nice. I’m a sucker for revenge dramas!
Since I didn’t like the last part of the drama, I wouldn’t rewatch it unfortunately.

I’ve fallen a bit out of drama romcoms over the years – in the past it was the genre that I watched the most but now it’s sageuks. But despite that, I’ve enjoyed Park Min Young in romcoms so often over the years, and her warm and easygoing on-screen demeanor tends to draw me well into the characters she’s portraying.
Marry My Husband focuses largely on her character, Kang Ji Won, and her quest for revenge and a better life that fills her with more passion and hopefully a better ending – which is a very engaging and compelling story to fallow, and I think the drama does a great job of making us feel for her. Even if it goes a little into too much victim complex and the characters tend to be a little too naïve at times.
Many of the secondary characters and their side stories were also very entertaining or interesting – which I think is essential in this kind of office drama. Both the blossoming friendships in the office, but also villains would completely steal the show for me. Some of the characters are horrible people, like Ji Won’s ex-friend and husband, but the drama manages to illustrate well how subtle they are and how they manage to use people. The actors and script made them very interesting to watch while you’re praying for their downfall. They feel like complex, multifaceted characters who can look funny or fascinating on the outside like many abusers are. But even though some of it felt a bit over the top at times.
For some time, it seemed that romance wasn’t a priority in the story, which doesn’t pick up until well around the second half of the drama. But I thought it was a very wise decision while everything else is being set up. It gives the drama time to highlight the emotional abuse Kang Ji Won is dealing with and trying to break away from so she can live. But all these different side stories also give us a little break from the romance that starts to drag on a little towards the end.
To me, romance is actually the weakest part of the drama, and it could just be because I don’t think Yoo Ji Hyuk is a particularly interesting character. I thought he was a little dull and I don’t think Na In Woo is a particularly charming actor on screen. He’s just fine. he’s tall and handsome, yet often he feels like he is just there, like a beautiful blank canvas, for a good majority of the drama. The rest of the cast was doing such a good job with their characters and sometimes made his scenes a little stiff in comparison, for me.
He did slowly start to make sense to me as a person and romantic partner when Ji won started falling for him and you get to fall in love with her – which is what the best romance films tend to do in my opinion. You fall in love with the characters and through the characters. But there were parts where I found his scenes, when no one else was with him, a bit full and just not that interesting. Like his backstory and past felt a bit too much of a kdrama cliché for me.
Overall, I found Marry My Husband a gripping and interesting story full of emotions that was far gloomier than I expected from such a romcom drama. But that didn’t hurt the story at all. There were interesting characters that you could hate and lovable characters you could root for, and a fair number of stakes to make the story exciting. The narrative flows well and doesn’t drag on too much, which is a bit of a bane for many romcom kdrama, especially towards the end, even if it did turn a bit too melodramatic and clichéd at times at times.
What caught my attention most about Marry My Husband was its use of comedy for the villains of drama. We are often made to laugh at them but not with them, and humor is also used to show how they could seem good and fascinating on the surface. It shows their insecurities and inferiority feelings and why they hold on to other people and drag them down because of them, but also how they manage to deceive the people around them. The way Ji Won saw them before she had another chance to live and gain clarity. That and Ji Won’s revenge was what really gripped me all throughout this drama – Ji Won’s on-screen revenge was often a certain cathartic release for the viewer, in a good way.

Just some thoughts...
There are already plenty of reviews for this drama, so instead of an actual review, I'll just write some thoughts that may or may not ever be read. Just because. LOL--Is it really really good acting, or do I actually, truly, hate the mom??? Also, I hate that she never understood that she was the cause of her son's moral deficiencies.
--The plot twist. I wasn't expecting a plot twist. How was I not expecting a plot twist?? I was truly surprised. And honestly, it was informational only....they would have been fine without it. But it did give some justification to the motive.
--I never did understand the relationship between Yu Ji Hyuk (ML) and Lee Suk Joon (Lawyer/HR). I got a sense that there was a familial relationship, but I was never sure.
--Yu Hee Yeon was adorable! It's nice to have a genuinely good character occasionally. Not to mention, intelligent and helpful, with no ulterior motives.
--Poor Baek Eun Ho. He was so clueless throughout the entire thing. I felt so sorry for him.
--Yu Ra's bodyguard/driver/secretary.....he looked so betrayed in the last episode. Not to mention his reluctance to murder people. His role was pivotal in saving some lives. I thought he deserved a better ending than to be left standing in the parking lot.
