Both are from mystry genre. Young leads are in seemingly unreal circumstances. Derailment tells about parallel universe and Reset is about time loop.
A very similar 'building the tension and mystery' type of storytelling. Young adults in misterious and seemingly unreal circumstances.
An unexplainable phenomena finds college-going student, Li Shi Qing, trapped in a never-ending time loop where she is always stuck on a public service bus which is due to explode, bringing death & destruction to not only herself but to all on board.
Desperate to find a way to escape not only the time loop but her tragic fate, Shi Qing inadvertently drags fellow bus passenger Xiao He Yun into the time loop as well. Together they try to find a way to alter their fate by ensuring the bus arrives safely at its destination, but attempting to do so proves anything but easy.

Both about two differents worlds and the female lead moving from her world to another. FL meeting someone who helps her in need and there is a secret about the 2 worlds that the leads are working to solve.
W contains romance, while Derailment is still ongoing drama so I don`t know yet if it has any romance at all.

The drama tells the story of how an ordinary girl Xia Guo chooses when faced with two different choices, and what happens. The drama is presented in parallel time and space. The different choices of the heroine will lead to different endings. There are the challenges and dilemmas of the big city; but on the other hand, there is the stability and triviality of the small town. In life it is always necessary to make concessions, without fear of loss, and moving forward to embrace that sense of the "extraordinary." If life could have other versions, and the "if" could be experienced, what would it look like? The drama realizes this "if" so that the heroine experiences two lives in parallel. How she will handle those choices is the big question.

Do you believe that there exist countless parallel universes that are exactly like the world you live in?
Jiang Xiao Yuan finds herself struggling with her identity as she travels across parallel universes that never seem to intersect. In her original world, she is an invincible wealthy daughter, but in another place, she becomes an ordinary working girl who has absolutely nothing. Along the way, she meets the mysterious Qi Lian, and together, they search for the truth involving the mystery surrounding her. Stripped of wealth, family background, appearance, and education, Jiang Xiao Yuan sets herself on a journey to find pieces of her "real" identity.

they both have completely different stories and all that so if you're like me who doesn't want it to be repetitive but the same genre, i think this is a good one!!
similarity:
protective + lethal ml (in both ml can be quite annoying at first but after awhile they're the best man)
smart + innocent fl (in both fl have the worst time coping with ml and are lost souls who want rest)
supportive / understanding
suspense + mystery + LOTS of plot-twists
HAPPY AND WORTH ENDING FOR BOTH

Though both the dramas have parallel universe sci-fi shit, Train shows more of a thriller showcase than Derailment while the latter shows more romance.
Even the titles are interlinked.
In Derailment, we see the FL trying to find herself but in Train we see ML trying to find a serial killer. Train has a very subtle romance and isnt the main genre.
But both are very captivating.
