Kaidanshita no Gogh (2022)

..the genre and the plot itself makes me give a shot of watching this since I am an art lover too..
.
..it's never too late to explore more of our life to have something new to like - a worker who suddenly get into the art to be have more useful time on each day..
.
..as always, many are saying the you cannot survive on field of art - art won't make any living as your profession, making art on canvas to be exact..
.
..art if such a big world, a lot of medium can be use, can be express, can be more high paid than a large piece of cloth and paintbrush..
.
..it also tackles here the dreams of each characters why they choose it, even the struggle they've faced..
.
..it's kinda weird on the last few minutes before the last episode ends on how the ML easily made his resolve. . .that's the only part is kinda shaking my head - knowing even if this is only an eight episode, I know they can still put a little scene on it, but no, that's how the story goes..
.
..well, again, if you are an artist too or a fan of art itself, you may enjoy this one, and don't expect a love scene between the ML and FL (but the ending is so interesting after they shake hands)..
.
..that's all..

..(this is my first drama I watch Sumire and I really love her eyes, don't know why, I would rather look on it all the time)..

Hidden Gem Jdrama

All I can say about this drama is refreshing, heartwarming yet amazing and finest. Once you start watch it, you won't stop.

The kind of drama that makes you feel home, comfort but at the same time entertaining. I felt console every episode. Hehe

They brings you into painting, art theme without complicated stuff and making you drawn into it.. Even the cinematography totally impressive and neat. It was fun, interesting drama and I really enjoyed watch it!!

My first time watch Sumire, and she was really good. Partner with Kamio Fuju, makes me want to root both of them from the bottom of my heart when watch throughout the drama xD Their chemistry are great.

More people should watch this drama. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ^_^

This "Kaidanshita no Gogh" is yet another dorama that I've watched out of my love for Tanabe Momoko, although the synopsis didn't sound like my cup of tea (I'm no big fan of art, particularly *modern* art, and the fact that I've briefly worked in that field and therefore got to know a lil' bit of the "behind the scenes" of it all surely doesn't help either - but that's another story entirely).
I also didn't really like the first episode(s), that made me think "Oh, boy, here's the Nth series with the *curt male lead*...at least he's no CEO so glass half full I guess".
But I'm happy I didn't drop it there, as the story slowly but surely picked up and became a lot deeper and much nicer than I had expected.
The cast did well (some better than others), the "packaging" was totally OK.
It should be more of a 7.5 but since I don't do decimals (an old habit I kept from jdorama.com where they weren't used!) I'll raise that grade to 8! ^___-
