THE BEST KOREAN BL DRAMA TO DATE
Wow, this series has everything I could wish for in a drama. The heart spins and aches and whirlwinds.. it was too much and just enough at the same time. I really loved the entire concept and timeline. It felt so real and authentic from a BL series. The length of the episodes and all of the content within them. I have watched a good amount of Korean dramas but I felt as though this series had the most true to date feelings and emotions. Depression is not very well potrayed by kdramas in most scenarios but it was not this case with drama. It really doesn’t get better than this - highly recommend watching!! If you are looking for a new BL to watch or frankly any show to watch - make it be this one!!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Everything a BL should be
This one heads the top of my list for 2023 - As a side note, there have been many disappointing bl's this year. These actors were awesome together - the chemistry was off the charts, their expressions were so emotional you could feel the love, the pane, the happiness.
The rest of the actors/actresses were also awesome.
The story line is very different from other bl's, and it is a really good story. I don't know who wrote this story but I hope they write more bl stories.
There were no side stories to interrupt the flow, no super annoying characters screeching & screaming. Although it is not a complicated plot, it is an interesting one.
The music was a bit unusual, but it fit and I liked it
The passionate scenes tastefully done, and I so appreciate a bl where the kisses make you feel like these two guys were in love, honestly they should give other bl actors some lessons.
The pacing was also perfect, nothing rushed, nothing boring.
I would love to see these two together again.

Absolutely wonderful!!!
Everything about this series is pure perfection. That kind will remain in our minds forever. The plot, cinematography, acting, soundtrack... simply superb!! What an incredible journey it was to follow this story! Each week I felt more involved with the characters' feelings and I was shocked at how easy it was to understand each one: their fears, their traumas, their demons... and at the end I felt my heart full of happiness and joy. Congratulations to the creators / directors, cast and crew and a special shout-out to Lim Jisub and Oh Juntaek. Waiting for another season, I'd love to follow this new journey of Jaewon and Jihyun.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Sweet Moments and Sneaky Glances
It was really sweet. I experienced intense emotions at times. I recalled the feelings I had when I first fell in love. The series is very good in terms of atmosphere and storytelling. I guess I'm getting used to watching mini-series more and more. If the episodes were longer, emotional scenes would be more extended, and there would be more events and that would be a good thing. One of my favorite things in any romantic series is the SIDE GLANCES. It made my heart flutter. I love freezing those scenes and watching them over and over again, and I absolutely enjoy jumping in my seat.
(If you ask me, it was precisely these glances that made the series 'We Best Love: No. 1 For You' so popular.)
What slightly bothered me was Seo Jae being excessively handsome. It may not seem like a problem, but it is. When someone is too beautiful, it feels like their position and power in the relationship increase, and consequently, they should be the one who loves more. There's a sense of responsibility loaded onto them because of their beauty, creating an illusion that they can have everything in life. This, in turn, leads to wanting more responsibility placed on them since they are so beautiful, hence more powerful, as if they should bear the burden.
While watching, my focus would occasionally shift to his beauty, and it somewhat disconnected me from the story. That's why I prefer actors with average looks, where charisma comes entirely from their character. Being taken out of the story by someone's appearance annoys me (she said and hearted Lim Ji Sub).
I thought Seo Jae was acting like he learned something in the military because I assumed he realized he was gay there, and I believe that would have been more fitting for the story. After all, he always took the first steps.
Continuing to be friends with a selfish, opportunistic, ready-to-betray-you, jealous, and passive-aggressive character like Jang Young!? That's something I would never do in real life. My baby Seo Jae also believes that this person ain't wearing a mask. 😫

one of the best lgbtq+ series
It's a masterpiece. I fell in love with everything, the story the cinematography and the actors. It was so nice to see a character struggling with his mental health and speaking about it openly and dealing with his trauma. The Eighth Sense is probably a comfort series for a lot of people because even if we probably all cried it's such a comfort serie because it was just the perfect amount of sadness and happiness. honestly my favorite part is probably the friendship it was so nice to see jihyun so well surrounded with so much support. I also love the fact that they didn't make a big of the fact that jihyun fall in love with a man because it's just loveEsta resenha foi útil para você?

I almost dropped this at 8th episode!!
( I'm not a movie critic! )I've really enjoyed this drama since the first episode. The storyline is pretty confusing but full of value; the problem is common in society nowadays, but a lot of people are still struggling without knowing how to get out of their situation. For me, their love story was a little bit slow and gray; I believe they are falling for each other due to sympathy at first instead of attachment (I have no idea how to describe it). I didn't see how many episodes it was, and I thought the 8th episode was their last episode. The way Jaewon left without saying anything almost makes me so upset. The way the camera moves as if we are witnesses to their story is so satisfying to watch, and their BGM also suits the scene! I even cried a little when they played Conan's song in the background.
Also, do not forget to mention that the other cast members' acting is so great; despite having a pretty big age gap, they are able to portray their characters very well. I am still in awe of how cute Jinwon (Joonpyo) was acting goofy around Jihyun and Jaewon, or when Meera (Yoonwon) cried when nothing was going well for her. I also get a bit upset whenever I see Eunji on the screen. The actress plays the character so well, but realizing there are people like Eunji in real life makes me sad.
It's 8 out of 10 for me. I will add two more if you make it to season 2, where they are finally a couple! ^^

They made me cry
I need to say that im not used to writing reviews, but i had to this time.At first I thought that it will be a basis bromance and at the beginning it low-key looked a bit boring. But now I know that if you really want to experience that full feeling, it was made just right. Actors made a very good job. Both main characters were so believe, as for their role (which both had some traumas and fears).
The way how I started to emphasise with the characters was so strong. The whole gradation of good and bad things was not bad at all.
I want you to know that I cried like a 12 year old while watching episode 9 and the whole last episode was just drying my tears, smiling.
The ending was also very enjoyable, I really recommend watching the series ❤️

Different to most LGBT dramas
Finally a Korean LGBT drama with more than 20 min episodes! This feels like progress.Although the sound editing (and editing in general ) is a bit off, I appreciated the art house vibe and neon/surfer aesthetic.
The characters feel well developed given the short run time. The leads have a convincing romance and intimacy. The university setting feels authentic and I could relate to the surfing trip and drinking games. I enjoyed this and hopefully it is a signal of growing LGBT representation in the genre.

just simply beautiful
i just love how they made us feel so connected to every scene in this show from ep 1 to the last ep i would be invested through it all....ironically i'd say they made me feel it through all my senses...and i haven't felt this way towards a show in a very long time everyone involved in the making of this show did a great job and im sure the budget wasn't much but they still executed it so brilliantly.....i also loved how the episodes were lengthy enough it made it sm better.....i hope this bl would be successful enough so other bl producers get to take notes from it!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Forget its a BL drama, its an amazing drama
I watch any genre, so the reviews of this made me interested, and it did not disappoint. The script is excellent, and all the characters believable apart from the clingy girlfriend, her motivation was never explained, the most obvious being status and money, and she was a sketched plot device.
I like how the script gave you space to fill in your own impression, with out too much information, so because you learnt naturally when the ML was constrained by expectation, it was a believable character development.
The highlight for me was how it was filmed, more cinematic, with lots of atmosphere. The beach scenes outstanding, and managed to convey it not a standard tacky way how you become of completely obsessed with some you are attracted to. If this was how most romances were portrayed it would be a lot more realistic than the standard, I hate you but I like you. I am so fed up with supposed adults being portrayed as being immature in relationships, and one having to be virtually a bully.
So if you are looking for a standard romance , perhaps it's not for you. If you want to watch a beautifully filmed thoughtful piece of how people change, and change others, which is not over long and a realistic hopeful ending, it's worth your time.
All the acting was realistic, and natural, and for once side characters seemed to be integrated in to the plot.
I wanted to rewatch it again straight after I completed it, which I have never done before for any drama, ever.
I look forward to the writer and directors next project.

Almost Perfect
This drama is incredibly well-directed. Easily the best "BL" production to come out of Korea but this feels a little more special than that. It does not feel fan-service-y or cringeworthy in any bad ways. Instead it will make you feel shy and sad and hopeful and all those things that your average romance drama will make you feel. The issue with this drama is unfortunately the writing. it's good but it's not as well-written as it needed to be for such a heavy topic. They did everything they could with the material. The direction will make you forget that for the most part. The MLs are both great and their chemistry is very authentic. If you're a lover of love check it out. But it has some heavier grief-related subjects so it may be harder for some than others.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
