Longer episodes please
I liked the story, which gives vampires a modern twist; day walkers and no cowering at crucifixes. Minimal blood and no fangs, so great for the squeamish.Vampirism at its most romantic, with a beautiful character that gives all for love after a tragic mistake.
The acting was fine, but as usual with too many S.Korean BL dramas, the episodes are far too short. I'd rather have that they were fewer and longer, so I can really get into the story. That would also give the actors a chance to show their skills and get into their characters better.
Perhaps the film will be more satisfying in that respect.
A few times the sound quality was poor and the filming felt a bit low budget, but that is not a reflection on the story or acting.
Overall, however, I thought it was a neat drama with a poignant finish. The soundtrack wasn't bad either.
Worth a look.

Too short but good!
Everything happened really quickly and we did not really have time to get in depth of the story. To make this show watchable, you need great acting and I think the two leads were great!! The end is a bit rushed as well but overall I felt all the emotions portrayed which is what makes it a good show.I love how the human (Yoon Seo Bin) is not just naive and clueless, he knows what he wants and is ready to suffer for his love.
We all know Kim ji woon since he seems to be very suitable for BL Vampire genre (his second BL as a vampire), and he protrayed a wider range of emotions there, we can really feel his love.

Simple concept made into a convoluted plot
The idea of the show is very simple and given how short the show is, they could've made it much simpler and more satisfying to watch. It felt like the main conflict could've been very easily resolved if the main character just behaved reasonably.Because of how short it is, the relationship between the main characters developed very fast. I personally liked their chemistry and found their interactions pretty cute, yet a bit awkward at times, but it didn't take away from their relationship.
Spoiler:
Tbh, the show could've ended without the last episode. The moment Min Hyun agreed to give Jun Ho his blood it should've been the end. Jun Ho's stubborness was completely irrational and while I understand that he was afraid of killing Min Hyun, there had to be a solution to make sure he doesn't hurt him.
It's a lot of unnecessary angst, but there's a lot of cuteness as well. Mostly because of how innocent Min Hyun is with his feelings. It's just adorable. The ending didn't feel as heartbreaking as it was probably intended. It just felt stupid.

Psychotic
This show was one of the strangest I've ever watched. The story jumped around, the character's made dumb choices for seemingly no reason. I know the show was short so it's hard to have time for explanations and building suspense, but I just felt both lost and annoyed by the way the story was pieced together. I really enjoyed some of the plot features though, vampires and BL are a great combination. There were a few unique and enjoyable qualities in the show such as character quirks, style, and some of the side characters and their involvement. But overall I felt like this show could just use so much more, I really had a hard time finishing it even though it was so short.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

The ending saves the show
Major reason why I decided to watch this show is absolutely not for the story but for the actor himself who plays the perfect role for a vampire. Having his good-looking face alone is enough for him to slay his character as a glamorous boyfriend material student in his campus. Kim Ji Woong is so freaking handsome! It is a lucky bonus that this show is a BL, double the savor.Unfortunately, this is another K-BL that is likely to stand out from the rest but the time length ruins the fun once again. The storyline is great; vampires being acknowledged in their world as someone who still continues to exist in the present. Sadly, they can’t execute a broader explanation since they only have a limited time, fitting each scene in a 8 mins duration time per episode. This also resulted in poor transition of scenes. The sequence can be intense for a moment but then it becomes happy in a mere second.
The finale was definitely the best. As a fan of tragic endings,I am happy that the episode turns the table around. Making Junho’s death as the farewell moment slightly differs it from the rest. If not, it will be another ordinary story and I would possibly give it a lower rating since it is a typical one. They made a good use of the potential, the last episode created an impact to its viewers.
Another good thing is how bubbly and at the same time relevant the lyrics of the OSTs to the certain part of a scene from the show. The vanishing of Jun Ho makes it more emotional by the help of the song being played in the background. Thank goodness it has english lyrics that make international viewers understand it without the help of the subtitles.
Average. The show is not that great but also not that bad. If only they can emphasize some stories more and manage to build a better fine quality of transitions, this will be more than good.

Kissable Lips is a HIT and a MISS
It's a good series and there is great chemistry between the leaders however, "Kissable Lips" is a HIT and a MISS. The Story is really good and had a lot of potentials. I enjoyed watching all the 8 episodes, it's fun and entertaining. However, I wish there was more, everything seemed to be rushed and there was such vampire stuff that was left without explanation. I am not kidding, This drama could be like in the TWLIght level but so much was missed.Overall, It's a fun and entertaining drama. Not the best but I would definitely sit and watch again.

The story is meh, the acting can't save it.
The story is weird. It's not the worst but it's super stresful. There's a lot of things that made me question why are the characters so dumb. Maybe, in the writer's head there's reasons to some stupid action and decision from the characters but it wasn't delivered wether through the dialogue, act, or storyline. There's so much unanswered question that made me confuse. The only good thing about this is the actor chemistry and the OST. The casts wasn't the worst but I found Seobin kinda awkward and sometimes came off cringe. Other than that, it's just okay. The OST is great but there's some scene where there's noise in the background.
I'd love to see the couple to play together in another series with better story and production.

A good idea, ruined by lack of time.
Kissable lips started off very strong but definitely suffered from how short the episodes were. The characters ended up being underdeveloped and the storyline was very rushed and therefore lead to a lack of audience interest in it after episode 4.The actors were all incredibly skilled at being able to cry on command and express emotions well with just their eyes so it is of no fault to the actors, the casting was great.
The OST, Quality and SFX were very good also however the music did not match the mood sometimes which led to a break in the immersion. One of the major examples of this is the exciting upbeat song playing at the end when he is crying when reminiscing his lover dying in his arms.
I think this series had a solid concept and story that could have been an amazing and emotional journey but the lack of time per episode ended up with the entire story being far too rushed and the characters really ended up having no explanations for why they acted the ways that they did. It ended up just being a series of events with no emotional significance to the views who could not get invested into the story and the deaths of two characters who the audience barely had any time to get to know anyway.

The questions you might have wont be answered.
It was not the best BL K-Drama I've watched this was so bad. The music and the acting that was done was good, I feel like the actors did the best they could do with what they had. There is so many questions that went through my mind when watching this and none of them were answered.Who is the women and what is her part in all this stuff that's going on?
Are we going to ignore that he was kidnapped and there was no further info on that?
What was the point of the guy friend that was from back then? he was just there to what stir things up?
WHY DIDN'T HE WANT TO BITE HIS NECK? like his lover was letting him.
There is so many more questions but these were like the main big ones. The drama had no real plot or the storyline was not consistent.

Plot was messy but the acting was sooo good! Chemistry of the leads is off the charts!
The thing is it was very low production and the plot was reaaaalllyy messy. BUT the chemistry of the two leads was FIRE! Honestly their acting was so good and they deserve to have another series with them as main leads with a better plot and more budget bc I think it could hit off sooooo incredibly well!!! Loved their emotions and the little expressions and I really do hope that there will be at least season 2 of this bc obviously the ending ... I'm just - as LONG AS THESE TO GET TO PLAY TOGETHER AGAIN!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
