WHOLESOME BL DRAMA EVER!!!
This BL drama first came up on my Youtube recommendation, and I was honestly watching the video half-heartedly, but the concept of this drama really got me hooked. As a person who loves to see at least one or two kiss scenes in a romance drama, I did not expect to fall in love with both the casts and the story!! (THERE WAS NO KISSING between the two at all) but I love how wholesome the couple interacts with each other. Which for me, that wholesomeness makes up for no kinship in this drama. This drama is also not toxic in any way (Idk how to explain it), no sexual orientation shaming or slandering from others when they found out about the couple. VERY FCKING CUTEEsta resenha foi útil para você?
superb story content !
AT first actors are chosen superb . they suit to their role. their acting is great . in the first half of 1st episode the viewer gets the idea about what this drama is about and its revolves in the minds of audience. timing of twists are great its fun , sweet and romantic at the same time. the legend's part is awesome . how the fragile main character gets the power [you will surely understand when while watching the drama] and it hepls to continue the series , love story etc. the another main character is super good looking ,Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Perfection
If a series can make me believe the love between two people so much that I didn't even notice such a major detail of a relationship never once happened, before that lift (elevator) door closed at the last episode. This is too much emotions. Honestly need a season two with Wataya and Fujisaki being the focus.Story - This was magnificent. Very unique story based on a superstition, added so much depth to the developing story. Never has someone's thoughts been so moving, allowing us to realise and understand how much Kurosawa genuinely loved Adachi. The small details that were written into Kurosawa's reasons for liking Adachi was moving. The level of commitment to just being able to just be happy with nothing but Adachi smile. Their interactions and Adachi general behaviour had me in stiches most of the time. This was written so well to have the nervousness of a new and unfamiliar interaction come to life in these characters, they really captured an introvert trying to be normal and in love.
Fujisaki was also a refreshing site to see in a bl, where she actually gave up her love for someone else to be happy, one of the best friends anyone can have. She and Wataya were so perfect in that final scene.
Acting - This was phenomenal performance by the two main leads and their subsequent friends. I swear Adachi had me convinced that he is a 30 year old virgin. His awkward interactions, his nervous behaviour, his introverted dementor and the moments when he broke out of it to help his friends. Everything was perfect. Kurosawa literally made me wish he was a real person, every smile, every glance, every touch... Lived in his eyes, filled with his love and his pain.
A very small but important thing to note is the fact that they never came out in the office nor pretty much to their friends at work.

The Absolute Sweetest and Healthiest Relationship
This was the absolute sweetest thing i've seen in my entire life (as of march 2021). As a part of the LGBT community, I strongly believe that queer love doesnt need to be pure to be validated by the mainstream but it also doesnt have to be sexualized to pander to fetishists! This story was just about learning to love yourself and letting others be simps for you. The mind reading aspect was done really well in regards to helping Adachi grow in his self-worth and better understand people while at a point addressing the violation of privacy that comes with it. It simultaneously warms my heart and makes me want to cry when I think of the unconditional love between Kurosawa and Adachi.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Loved it
I remember starving so much for the next week each time because the story is so addictive.I loved the story and the concept it could bring, reading in minds permits to develop so much. I liked both love stories but I must say Tsuge really woke up my social anxiety at some moments. He could be so weird that I was afraid Minato would think he is awkward but luckily their relation is full of cuteness and acceptation and the moments I'm talking about were funny when I think about it.
Now Adachi and Kurosawa: I really appreciated to see their relation build up piece by piece and to see them being so considerate to each other BUT I have such a bitter sweet feeling about them because they didn't kiss at all during the entire series. It feels natural, couples kiss. That's why it was a bit weird because albeit their chemistry was really good, I couldn't convince myself it was plausible.
Bonus point to this couple for their healthy relationship.

Such a sweet BL ! My cheeks are in pain cz of my grinning !
So, I have watched a few BLs, this one was so different! The setting itself was so unique unlike university and college dramas, and the leads were so mature and realistic.
Not once I felt awkward or uncomfortable but actually the opposite!
The whole time I was grinning looking at the screen and smiling like an idiot!
It's a drama I want to recommend to everyone even though they are not into BL.
It's a perfect watch for someone who want to first time try out this genre!
And OMG! did I forgot to mention the overwhelming amount of cuteness this small drama contains !!
I immediately started to related to the leads since the 1st ep itself!
And last but not least .... ADACHI !! (i will miss his innocence and cuteness so much )
Guys pls give it a try you will love it !

THIS HIT ME LIKE A CHERRY MAGIC.
I first found about this drama on youtube while watching multifandom edits, I saw a short clip and I was VERY interested. I started the drama and finished it in the same day. THIS IS THE BEST BL I’VE EVER SEEN IN MY BL WATCHING “CAREER”😹!! The acting, was just amazing, I also relate to Adachi about how he acts, and that even made my watching experience better because I felt how he felt like it was me. The storyline, personally, I think it’s a cliché, but then all the actors make it felt like a brand new story and added “seasonings” to it. IT WAS AMAZING, if you’re looking for a soft + adorable BL in an office setting, TRY THIS!!!I’m also in-love with the OSTs. They’re my favorite songs and will be forever. I can’t believe this drama isn’t getting recognization, it’s the definition of perfect. I wished I found out about Cherry Magic way before now. I LOVE ALL THE ACTORS!!<3

I loved that the show highlights that we can be our own worst/ harshest critics and sometimes we just need to be able to step outside of ourselves for a little bit to get a more accurate picture. Also that finding that we are lovable/ worthy of love can be so empowering. Add in a bit of ‘even the seemingly put-together good at everything guy can be a bit of a mess sometimes’ and you have powerful feel-good mix of a show all in 12, sweet, half-hour episodes.
Some weeks, that 30 minutes was the bright light I was needing to get through to the next week. The show is cute, soft, heart-felt, and everything I needed at the end of the year.

Problematic
This was a pleasantly good show.. but the lack of kissing at all threw me off.... If there was no kissing scene in the show I would understand it more... but the side couple kissed which leads me to believe the actors of the main couple did not want to do the same. I respect people's right to not do this but it made me story feel empty.. How can you propose to someone in the final scene and not have even shared a kiss with them ? If the actors did not feel comfortable to do so they should have found those who could. No one is asking for sex scenes but I think if we are being realistic the idea of them never having one kiss and ''spending the rest of their lives together'' is a bit farfetched.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Cherry Magic! I Hope 30 Years of Virginity Makes ME a Wizard?!
Cherry Magic is my favourite show. I watched it for the first time quite a while ago but is something I know I'll never forget. This the sweetest, nicest and warmest show I have ever seen. If you want to feel good then this is it. The innocence to it is one of the reasons why I love it so much.
I also like how this story doesn't focus just on love, but also the growth and development of Adachi as a person aswell as partner. He is a humble and quiet worker who's confidence and maturity progressively strengthens throughout the show with the help of not just Kurosawa but by himself which is really lovely to see.
The side plots are awesome too, Tsuge and Minato are really adorable, it's hard not to like such a cute relationship between the two.
The cast is amazing. I know Yuu Toyota, the creator, had doubts about letting such a pretty boy like Akaso Eiji play Adachi but now that I've watched it, I can't think of anyone better. His expressions, actions and emotions are on point and the best I've seen from a drama in this genre.
For Keita Machida, it's the same. His acting completely sold it to me and his talent (in both the acting and face department :P) is why he's my favourite actor.
The chemistry between Adachi and Kurosawa played by these two incredible actors is something I'll never get over. Even if there is *SPOOOOIIILLEERRR* no kiss scene, I don't care. Some people are really bothered by this but it really doesn't matter. This pair have managed to portray such a deep and beautiful relationship even with the lack of physical affection and it's incredible.
The music? Immaculate. The intro '産声' means 'first cry'. The song, performed by a band called Omoinotake, is written in the perspective of the main character himself and really highlights his growth and desire to be a better person. Adachi's development is like a rebirth as he is becoming his newest, truest self. The lyrics, man! I could read them and listen to them for days, I'll be totally honest - this is my favourite song.
The outro is amazing too! The song 'Good Love Your Love' is performed by a group called DEEP SQUAD and is now from the perspective of Kurosawa. This is an actual banger, I swear! It talks about the overwhelming feelings Kurosawa has for Adachi and how much he wants to be with him. It's really accurate and if Kurosawa was a song, it'd be this one.
I've watched this show over four times. Yes, I'm the type to rewatch shows I love - and it never gets old! Everytime I watch Cherry Magic or read an article about it or save a post about it on Pinterest, I still get the same wave of love and excitement everytime.
If I never saw a video about Cherry Magic four years ago, forgotten about it after that, but then stumbled across it on a streaming app and remembered it for its weird name, then I can't begin to imagine everything I'd have missed out on.

Japanese BL (supreme acting)
Honestly, i've been watching alot of BL dramas and they can get tiring sometimes when the acting is too cliche or too forced.I'm seriously surprised (happy way), that this story had such an amazing storyline.
a) it's not predictable
b) Never been done before
c) the acting was great
i know Thai BL is "King of BL" but somehow the acting still lacks in comparison to our jap/korean counterparts due to the fact that they cast alot of young talents (which certainly need grooming).
Everyone needs to give this title a try because it has so much potential and i'm looking forward to more episodes.
