A Must Watch

I would like to give a standing ovation to the cast and crew for this amazing masterpiece of a drama.

There are a lot of heavy topics that this drama has tackled brilliantly. The writer has created a world which mirrors our own, scarily so. The reactions and behaviours of the characters are brutally raw and realistic, as are the dynamics and relationships between one another. Every topic has been handled with a level of caution and care and executed stunningly.

The OST fits the theme perfectly and gives me chills. The cinematography is wonderful and I cannot sing enough praises of the acting. I look forward to each new episode and am in complete awe at each twist, at each new direction the drama travels through. It gets your heart racing and palms sweating - in a good way, of course. There are scenes which are terrifying and there are scenes which are heart-warming but each and every mili-second of this drama so far has been enjoyable.

Humans are more dangerous and sinister than Zombies

I simply love these Zombie type dramas. And Happiness was more than a normal Zombie drama.This drama Happiness shows How at times humans can be more sinister than Zombies. We simply can't tell what is cooking inside someone's head. He/she might look fine and happy on the outside but sinister on the inside. It shows how people change their colors when they fall into danger. They can even go the extent to hurt someone just to fill their stomachs.
The script keeps getting better and better with each episode and you get hooked to the story line.And it is a Zombie and survival story which I personally enjoy. I think it had a pretty good lineup of fine actors.Who brought their roles to life. Literally loved each and every one of them. Would have loved if it had 16 episode but I am pretty satisfied with what was offered.
All in all it is a treat for the fans who love Zombie and survival dramas.

I watched this when it first aired and ended up dropping it around episode 3-4. Since then I've kept trying to pick it back up and every time I do, I end up almost falling asleep or my finger finds the ff button. The ML is one of my favorite actors. This was his comeback drama after the military, so maybe that's partly why it received such a high rating. He's one of the reasons I keep wanting this drama to click for me like it seems to for so many people. But it's incredibly boring. As much as I want to, I honestly cannot see where the hype is coming from. I can only take watching people walk around their apartments talking about nothing relevant for so long.

It's not all that

Honestly I feel kida like the odd one out seeing so many positive reviews on this drama. The potential was there but the execution was just wack. I know the explanation for the origin of the outbreak isn't the most important part of the show, but I can't ignore it as a scientist. The flip flop between two pretty much opposite hypothesis doesn't even make any sense. Nowadays you can just run tests and pretty easily tell if the condition is caused by a pathogen or if it's drug induced. Besides, if it was a drug, the zombie like condition would just stop happening after the drug has been eliminated from the system. Don't simply throw this stuff at me and then expect me to not care about it.

Besides that, the main characters don't make much sense, especially the fl. How can she be a cop when she is the most irresponsible and idiotic motherfucker out there? The scene where she storms in the truck to save her dumbass friend is the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a while and the fact that she and ml just escpae without as much as a scratch, simply so preposterous. I just feel this drama tries so hard to be different and deep but at the same time it creates such unbeliavable and stupid situations.

The relationship between the two leads is also not very believable. We just get a little backstory on them via flashback and that's basically it. They have no chemistry and often times they feel like self-righteous idiots. Maybe the writers would expand on their story later on but by the time I got to the fourth episode I was bored out of my mind. Anyways if you all want a true drama/horror about complicated human realtionships during an apocalypse just go watch a playthrough/play The Last of Us.

Female Lead is OOC

Female Lead is supposed to be an Anti Terrorist Senior Officer. But, based on the episodes I've watched, all her actions were just careless, irrational and stupid. All she did was being reckless and putting everyone around her at risk. Is that how SOU acted during a crisis? I don't want to live in a country with SOU like that for sure. This alone, makes me don't want to continue watching. She is the focus of the drama, she should be written well. Male Lead however, is written very well, acted careful and smart. Another character, Mr. Han, is also very well portrayed by the actor. DROPPED!!!

A KDRAMA THAT NEEDS RECOGNITION AND A HYPE! YOU SHOULDNT MISS THIS, YOULL REGRET.

bruh, i was notified about this drama and from that moment? i can’t wait! the casts, the plot, the acting, and the film itself, they were all SUPERB! there’s just 3 ep now, the fourth’s coming out later at night and im 진짜 excited. there’s no skip, every details ate amazing, the chemistry between the leads, and how they portray they roles? it’s amazing! i will be looking put for this one, happiness, gives me happiness and chills atst! THIS IS GOING TO BE MY FAVE KDRAMA THRILLER, i can smell it. i am picky in every kdrama im watching but this?? i 진짜 진짜 recommend this to everyone. 여러분, this needs a HYPE! LIKE REALLY, THIS SHOULD BE MORE RECOGNIZED BY EVERYONE! im inlove with the casts, and the movie, so you will. tvn never disappoints.

Don't like zombies, but like this!

Full credit to the star power of Park Hyung Sik.... I really don't like anything horror/zombie/gore/jump scare - just not my cup of tea, at all. But I love PSH so I gave this a try solely for him, and ya know, I'm glad I did. Sure the gore was there, but honestly it was well done and not over the top. It was never "gore, just to be gross and shocking", and I appreciated that. PSH knocked it out of the park with his character, which, I fully expected - he never disappoints! But an unexpected gem for me was the FL. I absolutely loved her. She was so badass, but believably so, and stayed true to who she was through the entire series. I can see why ML harbored feelings for her all those years ;-) I'm half in love myself lol. This show is worth watching just for the two main leads alone - they really were terrific!

Overall score: 8.5/10. I want to give this a 10 (because PSH lol) but I've got to take off .5 off the bat for the zombie theme, and then another full point because I thought the whole plot line surrounding Andrew was a little silly... like, what are the odds of not one but TWO run of the mill killers living in the same apartment building... yikes. I think they could have built drama at the end with a different storyline, but it definitely wasn't so bad that it ruined the show. I'm also taking off .5 because I thought they could have built up the romance throughout the show a bit more... that really would have **chefs kiss** the whole thing... some glances, some light touches, more hugs - there was a bit of that, but I wanted more... more to build the romantic tension so that you really felt it when you finally got that kiss. I also would have loved a second kiss in that final scene when everyone was healthy and happy. Kinda bummed that the only kiss we got was wrapped up in zombie stuff.

And yes I know all that equals 2 full points, but I'm adding back in .5 just because I enjoyed PHS so much. Turns out I'll watch anything he's in... even zombies ;-)

I’M IN LOVE ?

An amazing drama. Park Hyung Sik does an excellent job in the role of a policeman—brave, courageous, and protective of the weak—rather than a sweet boy, as he appeared in Doctor Slump. My admiration for him keeps growing. 🩷

The romantic subplot is well-executed but isn’t the main focus. There’s a lot of action, but the most important message of this drama is how people react in moments of crisis, how they reveal their darker sides when their lives are at stake, and how material things become meaningless in the face of illness—which is the central theme here!

I highly recommend it! 🧚🏻

I started watching this drama solely because of tiktok edit, and I had no idea what it was about. I haven’t been this pleasantly surprised in a long time.
