spirit of a male time travels and goes into female who is main female lead & male lead is her husband
The female lead's soul from modern era is trapped to princess' body from ancient era. This princess is known to be evil! The Romance of Tiger and Rose is also a comedy drama and the female lead's character is seriously hilarious. Ah, there is one similar thing: the male lead tries to kill female lead many times because he thinks she is an obstacle in his agenda... but of course everything doesn't go smoothly, this is a comedy drama afterall!
Both are South Korean dramas, similar in that it features a modern person who time-travelled to the past. In Moon lovers, it is Goryeo Dynasty. In Mr Queen, it is Joseon Dynasty. Another difference is that Mr Queen features a man in a woman's body and Moon lovers was a girl residing in another girl's body.
The same thing between these two dramas is that a man's soul is entering into a woman's body. Both seems fun and hilarious.
Both dramas are humour driven with an underlining tinge of seriousness. Other similarities are the MLs fight to maintain power as King and how both FLs end up impersonating the Queen of Joseon. In MQ she wakes up in the body of the queen and tries to live as her while figuring out what is going on, while in TFM, she pretends to be a shaman that is possessed by the late crown princesses.
Both dramas have huge similarities.
*Both dramas have comedy.
*Both are historical dramas.
*Both involve time travel.
*Both have their own type of romance and case solving.
*In both, the person coming from the future shares her/his knowledge with the people in past.

Both have the lead time travelling/body swap theme, although The Eternal Love has both consciousness of the actual person and the person from the future. Both are very funny historical dramas.
First, when the name Queen Cheorin, was announced for Mr. Queen, I first think of Queen In Hyun's Man, one of my favorite time-travel dramas. Both dramas share time-travel, fusion drama concepts, based on some of real-life historical figures.
Both are historical dramas with the similar concept of gender swap with a good comedy and plot. The only difference is in tale of nokdu the guy becomes a girl
both are funny especially the female leads, fantasy elements in both drama, sizzling chemistry between the leads.
Both are fantasy historical dramas where one person's soul ends up in another person's body. They follow the premise of the FL trying to get out of the body they've ended up in, but Alchemy of Souls has more magical elements while Mr. Queen is around time travel. I also think they have a similar type of humor where it shouldn't be taken too seriously even when the drama's setting deals with intense stuff like royalty and politics.
I just realized these two dramas have similar vibes.
- Both are time-travel sageuk dramas
- Joseon Dynasty
- Beautiful Love Story and amazing lead couple
- Both male leads are tricked by second female leads and they thought SFLs are their childhood first loves but actually FLs are.

The Female leads are independent and not afraid to take on challenges. There is a focus on food in both dramas. Mr. Queen is a time travel drama but still just as good as Dae Jang Geum.
It's a fusion drama!
Somehow the story of My Only Love Song is related to The River Where the Moon Rises, however, the vibes of comedy is similar to Mr. Queen. Because the female lead is a time traveler, people are confused of her language, which is similar to Mr. Queen and the ever so popular "No Touch" phrase.

They have similar plot, a man's soul in a woman's boy and challenges of becoming woman (?), discovering their sexuality, character develepments etc + both show has queer characters + but these 2 shows have different energies
