The chemistry between the leads is great and the cute and awkward romance aspect of the show is, I think, what makes it so fresh and enjoyable.
I recommend this drama to anyone looking for some cute romance, kind characters and laughs. Enjoy the ride!

Inconsistant day to be a dog...
Is it really a good day to be a dog? I do not think so as this show teaches us that being a dog can be really scary, being a human by day dog by night can get you in to a whole lot of trouble... not to mention mess things up for a bunch of people...This drama has some good parts some cringe, some annoying elements, some fun, some more or less predictable twist or should I say side stories within the story with the side stories that are messed up... but at timed interestingly intwined...
The selling points of this drama are the eye candy and fluff!
Our male lead Cha Eun Woo is probably one of dreamlands sweetest, best looking and the over all most interesting personalities and whose use of lip gloss can only be beat by Park Hyung Sik in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Though there are parts that are a bit odd... He was a pleasure to watch thruout the show.
The female lead Park Gyu Young (and her sister) had a few to many moments of oh come on, oh the cringe, baby voice... Luckily they dd not last long enough to completely ruin the show but where enough to drag down the score by a bunch of points. To be honest she is actually 80% adorable, with great acting both as a dog and human however those 20% where so bad I almost dropped the show, and had it not been for Chae Eun Woos (well everything) I probably would have...
The villain and side characters also range between oh my please stop the cringe/annoying parts to great amazing, lovable, I want to adopt that kid... sometimes in the same person, same lifetime, different lifetimes.. As this is another one of those drams where the writers figured most of the childhood connections where already done and could not be beaten so they had to add the past life connection to show the depth of the connection between the cast.
Other perks with this show are the huge amount of fluffy, sweet, slightly mean, cute dogs, with or without transformation. So to sum it up, the drama is messy, inconsistent, annoying at times cute most of the time and extremely fluffy
So: Story as a whole 8,5 ⭐️
Male lead: 12 stars (out of 10) ⭐️
Deduction for annoying elements: -4 stars 👎
Fluff: 10 stars ⭐️

Boring
Just 2 first episode was good but the rest was boring. Nothing intersting happen. Never make me waiting for the rest. I watched just bc I had read couple of episodes of this webtone and dropped it so was curious how they will end it but after of couple of ep it became a boring kdrama with auwful casting especialy the ML. The time of airibg?? Just 1 ep per week?? I thunk they don't have anyplans to how to end it. They were confued too. I really don't recommand it. It is just a waste of time. How could a kdrama could be this boring!!! I watched it bc of the FL after the celebrity kdrama but I wonder how she chosed this? Never have any hope for the ML.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
it started off good but plummeted
I started this drama because my friend said it came from a webtoon and it was good. I'm a fan of the main leads as well. They casted them well I must say. The first episode was good, I am hooked. I was looking forward to this every week even though the it only released one episode. This schedule made people not tune it but that did not stop me. I was watching holding back other kdramas because of this and thought of the one episode per week as a blessing (to catch up with school works). The episodes went well until it went downhill. I'm disappointed.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Hard not to drop it in between...
First of all and worst of all was the airing schedule of this drama like one episode a week!! And to make it worse they skipped airing twice. The recaps in the starting of the drama were quite helpful..so whoever is watching it is fully released don`t get frustrated.
Okay, now starting with the review...
This drama has a strong start and is really interesting in the beginning. I was so invested in it. Both Eun Woo and Gyu Young did pretty well and their chemistry was good too.
I loved Yun`s character too.
Until the curse was lifted up it was fun and lighthearted as I expected it to be.
Now the minus points~
After the curse was lifted I started feeling that the story was somehow getting stretched and boring. And the last episode was a pure example of this. Like it was a pure recap of first few episodes and full of flashback thing.
In addition they added a whole damn episode of amnesia thing which I personally hated a lot.
I think the historical thing was not boring and the story was quite good but the way they presented it with all the flashbacks made it looked boring.
The love story of Hae na`s sister and that vet seemed to be a interesting at first but was literally rushed at last when they could have given them more screentime.
And sorry but I felt so uninterested in the story of Hae na`s uncle...like the 'WOOF WOOF' he did was so stupid (sorry if you guys found that funny).
Overall the story was not that bad but the storytelling made it kind of worse.

It was.. alright.
I started watching this back in March 2024 and JUST finished it yesterday. Tbh, I stopped watching it because I got a little bored. I gave this a chance because I adored the main leads in previous dramas like FL in Celebrity and ML in True Beauty. I’ve never read the whole Webtoon, just an episode and that was it. It looked interesting from the start but it really didn’t pull me in the way I hoped. The main leads were super cute. That’s a given. They portrayed their roles well. Okay, maybe the FL only, in my opinion. Honestly, Cha Eun Woo was way better in True Beauty. At least I saw more of his acting skills there. He needs to work more on his craft and hopefully he could get more different roles in the future. I agree with the people that he has the same cookie cutter roles. I want to see him act differently. Maybe a villain next time, you know? I’m afraid he’s stuck with the Webtoon only characters and that’s not good for his career. I enjoyed the FL’s family, and Yul, the ML’s nephew. The supporting cast did an awesome job for making me laugh. I enjoyed the FL’s fashion style as well. FL’s dog form was super cute. Can’t miss that. Another great thing were the kisses. Now that’s how a couple should kiss! No dead fish kisses here. A yay for that. Now let’s talk a out Bo-gyeom, the mountain god. He’s supposed to be a SMART mountain spirit. His character irritated me so much. At first I liked him, but when I found out what he was really like and how he wanted revenge, I was like wait, what?? NO. WAY. How did he NOT see what really happened? Give me a break. How stupid and selfish of him to give FL’s family a curse and then at the end he disappears like it was nothing?? No apologies or whatsoever. What a POS. You can’t change my mind about him. What a horrible person. I found myself skipping the parts whenever he was in it. I had to skip the repetitive memories of their past lives. It was just too much. With that one episode with the epilogue at the end, I thought it was over. Then I remembered there was a total of 14 episodes. Bring in more chaos to the mix. The more, the merrier, right? I heard that the show’s episode was posted like once a week and there were postponements as well. I don’t blame them, I’d probably drop it too. I can’t really stop you from watching it, but do give it a try if you still want to watch it.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
The drama lost me after 8 episodes
This drama had a lot of potential and when it started it off I loved every bit of it. The cast and the chemistry and the storylines were perfect, initiallyI loved the first storyline in this drama, the setup, buildup, and the eventual pay off was pretty good. The main leads were definitely cute and the side characters had enough depth ( not much of a story behind them ) to make them interesting.
But after wrapping the first storyline, the second storyline was just too long. The same set of scenes, dialogue and everything was thrown around multiple times. Towards the end I was skipping Soo much.
I really feel this drama could have wrapped up much earlier than it did.

Sorry, but it’s not good
I love both the main leads, esp Cha Eun Woo (who doesn’t??) but this drama just fell flat!!It was interesting the first few episodes, then it got draggy, then it just got boring towards the last few episodes, like a bit necessary plot line cum trying to reach 14 episodes. Imagine after one year of dating (!!!!) they’re still trying to hide their relationship!! Does that even make sense? Great actors, they shld have chosen better scripts. As for the dog storyline, it was ok until it wasn’t. When the uncle was in human form but can’t talk and barking like a dog, that’s when I knew this was going downhill.
But the silver lining is, we get the visuals of CEW, and some nice kiss scenes ;)

And they called it puppy love
This is a highly anticipated drama that I am so satisfied with for once. I know the limitations that come with anticipation, and from the actors and all parties involved. I could either fully love or fully hate, this one I am stepping back and will just say that it’s not living up to expectations because I really didn’t have any.. but it’s actually really good.for the first time in a while for me I’ve found a romantic comedy with an absurd idea but this time the drama does it right by going full comedy. This drama is truly a comedy and the ideas and scenes all meshing together make it a fun watch, and one where I still care about the characters and their relationships.
The music fits very well with the drama and so far the casting is perfect for me. The female lead has puppy like mannerisms in some scenes that I had to rewatch because she is too cute, Park Gyu-young is another actress I haven’t seen too much of. I hadn’t seen any romantic comedy of hers before but she is so fitting for this role. She has this energetic charm to her and her whole situation of being cursed is fun to see play out, especially how she got into that situation.
Cha Eun Woo is so wholesome and cute and I love him with all my heart. I can see his role developing and I’m looking forward to it. It’s not too much for him and he’s doing what he does, and I think that’s fine and I really enjoy it. He’s got this presence to him that is charming and lead male material, and he fills those shoes pretty well. Lee Hyun-Woo is finally back to a romantic comedy and is just how I remember him, a more matured and cute guy now-
This drama goes all in with its idea and doesn’t take it self too seriously. It balances everything nicely and I’ll add more as the show progresses, so far I’m looking forward to it and am so happy to finally have a good romantic comedy in 2023 that feels like a romantic comedy.

started fun but ending awful
I had fun with this but then we had. lot of storylines that really weren’t resolved introductions to new characters and characters that were just disappearing. I feel like we could’ve gotten so much more if we had just let main couple just figure it out because tbh I wasn’t really worried about how they got cursed or why and it took so long to get that information that I didn’t care by the time I got it. The bully she got attacked by the sl it was crazy and the she fell of the face of the earth. He cursed his this girl and her family so they turn to dogs and truthfully he had no reason to cause she killed herself he fell of the face of the earth no apology. and he could’ve asked his wife about it when she shows back up as a teenager but he refuses to talk to her. it was so many villains popping and I still don’t know why one of them had beef with ml. I feel like we could’ve gotten the backstory first instead of a long pointless wait and it’d be more fun, we could’ve had the sisters ex boyfriend be a the main antagonist and maybe I would’ve enjoyed it more.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Better than many other rom com released in 2024
disclaimer: thank God I dint know about the webtoon version. The storyline - not bad at all. unraveling the curse and lifting it they kept the story intact. mountain God (gumiho) holding a grudge has definitely gave me a vibe of tale of nine tailed but it's not exactly copy.
the cast was good. the kisses were fire!
the supporting charecters got their own story which I liked.
what I don't like is it could be finished in 12 episodes. they dragged a bit. else it's alright.
if someone can buy the plot of kind the land (like the most common 3rd gen chaebol guy with childhood trauma) then I don't know why the same audience did dirty to this show.
ignore the reviews, go watch. I know you will feel it's dragged somewhere, so just fast forward those parts. but just watch. it's not as bad as the reviews are saying!

Untapped Potential in 'A Good Day to Be a Dog'
A Good Day to Be a Dog" offers an engaging story, yet there's a lingering sense that something crucial was missing, potentially in its direction. The narrative catches interest but doesn't fully satisfy, as if some key elements in the storytelling or progression were overlooked. This feeling of incompleteness leaves one wondering what could have been if these aspects were better addressed or given more attention.Despite this, the main characters stand out remarkably, imbuing the series with charm and relatability. Their likable nature and dynamic interactions are the heart of the show, making it special and memorable. However, a desire for more depth and detail persists. Expanding on the characters' backgrounds, motivations, or the world they inhabit could have significantly enhanced the viewing experience, making it not just enjoyable but truly captivating.
