Delicious Rest Stop (2019)

Feel good variety show with great easy to follow recipes!

I am enjoying this show a lot. Easy to follow recipes with a feel good message since they are supposedly helping the local farmers/fishermen (I don't know how true this is but I like the sentiment and always happy to watch someone promoting eating local).

The MCs (especially Hee Chul) are funny and a delight to watch. Chef Baek is charming and has some really good ideas.

I have tried making several of the recipes at home and they always come out good. I highly recommend giving them a try since it adds to the experience. A lot of the ingredients are easy to find here in the USA, so just cook as you watch and you will feel super immersed in the experience XD

All in all loving this show.

Variety show dengan konsep membantu petani, peternak atau nelayan lokal yang panen berlebih tapi daya belinya sedang menurun. Sehingga banyak hasil ternak dan hasil panennya banyak terbuang sia-sia. Padahal umur produk pertanian rata-rata pendek dan cepat membusuk.

Mereka membeli hasil ternak dan hasil panen lokal untuk dibuat resep baru dan dijual di restaurant. Pemanfaatan kaya gini adalah sebuah win-win solution untuk petani ataupun konsumen. Terakhir nonton produk pertanian lokal dari Jeju yaitu wortel dan jeruk yang dibuat jus dan bubur. Aku yang ngga doyan wortel atau bubur, jadi ngiler pengen bikin abis nonton ini. Semua resepnya dibikin Chef Baek Jong Won.

Andai variety show ini udah ada jaman kuliah, kan bisa bantu presentasi ide nih.
