My first BL ever; ..and It has has a strong message too <3

I don't have any bad word. OMG! If I think about this BL was my first BL seires ever, but I didn't regret it! I loved every second!
I totally recommend to everyone who love that romance what is like "I hate you but I freaking love you" romance, because our main casts are like this.

Soo we have 2 caracter: Than and Type
- Type Thriwat who is a handsome freshman with a passion for football and spicy food. He is friendly and he is kind with everyone but he hates gay people because he has a his childhood trauma, he was molested by a man. But his life full changed after when he met with Tharn.
- And here is Tharn Kirigun, who is also handsome and gorgeous, he is compassionate music major, who is also openly gay. When Type getting know this, he is determined to make Tharn leave the dorm, because he told him that he won't live with a gay person. Tharn is determined that he won't do it, just because of Type's homophobic tantrums.
With a gay guy and a homophobic guy that have to share a small space together for the rest of a year, what will happen?
I know and I'm sure when they're gonna think about it back they would just laughing on it, during they holding each others hand.
Tharn and Type during year what they spending together, they are just getting clooser and clooser and mooore closer. Type slowly getting closer to Tharn.
But at the first times they are just sex partners, but later yeah Type just fall in love with Tharn, this gonna be a slower countinue but it's worth it to follow their love story. From hate how become true love. Btw this series have so many messages. Also they will teach you a lot of things, for example:
1, Dont give up no matter what.
2, you are enough, even if you don't feel it.
3, It's okay if you care about what other people think about you, but don't overthink it
4, You can love who do you want, love is love
and other type of these lessons, just whatch it carefully <3

If you start this series you will see everything and you will fell in love with their love. And you can also see those epic parts from what everyone is talking about. And you will understand everything.
That is also true here's gonna be so many difficulties and drama but always remember true love can win over everything. So if you love these type of series I recommend this series to you, because the cast, the scenes and also the caracters are also great and you won't be able to fill with this, you're gonna want more and more. Untill you will start the second season too. I swear to god you won't be regret.
Oh and yeah, I forgot to tell you that : bring a lot of tissues when you start it, because this series sometimes an emotional roller coaster. Good luck honey! <3 and please remember that you are enough, precious and you are loved. <3

And at the last thing is what I want to say I just want to say thank you for the directors and to the cast and to the stuff, thank you for working hard <3

Oh my god! I started this series without any expectations, and i have not regretted a single second ! The story is well written, while it does follow some classic tropes it does it in a new and refreshing way. The music is excellent , and acting as well. The chemistry between MewGulf is off the charts. I felt every emotion intended to be felt alongside a lot of frustration. would recommended this to everyone and their grandma! :D

I apologize in advance, English is not my first language :D

There is a lot to unpack in this drama, but first of all i have to get an unpopular opinion out there: Although i fucking love them and their chemistry, I don't think Type deserves Tharn. Let me just explain why. Although Type was molested in the past, and that led to him being homophobic , everything he did to Tharn was so inconsiderate, and ultimately selfish. Exploring your sexuality and coming to terms with yourself should not include trampling over others, especially over your partner. He was using and abusing the fact that Tharn's love is unconditional, and that he forgave him for his foul mouth more than once, even when he shouldn't have. On the other hand, Tharn is also a broken person, having all of his partners leave him, for reasons explained in the series. He gets his partners attention by being attentive, warm, supportive and ultimately flexible with boundaries, patience and needs.
They are polar opposites, and Tharn has been hurt by Type so many fucking times, that i wanted to break my screen just so that i could beat the living shit out of Type. How could you be such a dick towards the only person willing to put up with your shitty behavior? As we see later in the series the same shitty impulsive childish behavior has his dad. We have seen some character growth from Type regardless of my rambling. I just needed to get this off my chest. ((Many people are justifying Types' behavior and violence with past trauma, even calling his antics cute? (threats of break up, punching him in the face more than once, internalizing doubts, and communicating in a relationship like fucking toddler) Like wtf, if you have a need to feel wanted by making your partner jealous, you're a douche in my book))

STORY:
Story was in my opinion nicely executed. Loved both the drama, and the novel. Timeline was nice, story wasn't rushed, and the audience wasn't served everything on a silver platter, tho some elements were a bit predictable. I loved the final twist so much, and it was executed amazingly.

ACTING/Characters:
Obviously, MewGulf did an amazing job as many before me have stated, and those steamy kisses omg. Two ice cube scenes, and that shower scene were god tier!!
I take my hat off to Mild and Kao! Their portrayal of Techno and Lhong left me speechless.
Techno is a friend to die for, quite literally! If you ever happen to stumble upon a friend like that, never let them go! Supportive, understanding, a bit of a blabbermouth, but an honest support and shoulder to lean on!

Lhong on the other hand is such a headache and sneaky bastard, i feel so fucking frustrated that his only punishment for the atrocities that he did was being away from his love interest/obsession. Of course, my frustration may stem from my lack of understanding of Thai culture. Perhaps they are relying on the laws of karma? Even so, his punishment should have been so much more severe than what he got. He should rot for at least next three lives. Kao's acting was stellar -honestly!

P'San is a piece of shit, pedophile that is incapable of taking a hint, and no for an answer. He was giving me the creeps every time he was on screen. All that talk of 14 year old Tharn made my head hurt. Even tho it was a "consentual" sexual encounter, it should have never happened, because P'San was 17 at that time. He should have been punched in the face. Creep.

Tharn's brother is a pushover, and i dont like him very much. Only redeeming quality is that he is supportive.

P'Tar gave me a headache every time i saw him on screen. I do not like clingy whiney characters in real life, and i do not like them on screen. He is a deeply broken young person, who could have saved himself, and people around him a lot of trouble had he came forth with his trauma. Albeit it is not easy to open up about such things, if P'Tum knew, he could have helped him cope, change his number to stop the harassment, move away and eventually move on from Tharn. Keeping it for yourself can only do harm.

MUSIC
I loved every soundtrack, little sound effects, the piano score was beautiful! Be Mine and Hold me Tight as piano versions are so pretty!

REWATCH:
I am currently on my 3rd rewatch, so hell yeah. 15/10 Of course the series has its flaws, but they weren't even in the slightest deal breakers for me.

Do Not Miss This BL But BE WARNED!

Seriously, I am shook! This was an amazing BL for a number of reasons. It was also a BL that you should view with caution for other reasons.

But I'll start with acting. The two leads, Mew and Gulf do an incredible job and have really phenomenal screen chemistry. And the supports were all very gifted actors as well. I think there wasn't a person in the cast who didn't just knock it out of the park! Type's toxic anger management issues were so well done. Tharn's utter grief towards the end, made me actually cry, and that's an achievement. I really can't say enough about the skill with which the main actors handled the roles.

Need a little more detail? Gulf gave a brilliant portrayal of Type as a raging anger moppet, concealing a deeply conflicted, deeply tortured character in the throws of a war with himself that is far more about his unresolved emotional baggage and far less about his actual sexual identity. As a survivor of an assault Type never really was able to contextualize what happened to him and his unresolved anger transferred onto LGBT men. He's deeply hurt, in the throws of severe PTSD and so conflicted he's enormously toxic. And Gulf brings every moment of that pain and bitterness out in very real and potent emotions on screen.

Mew gives achingly humanizing dimension to Tharn, an "out and proud" homosexual with a surprisingly nuanced personality and a lot of hope left in him, despite his suspiciously horrible track record with love. This character is far from perfect though and he himself does some very sketchy shit. On paper Tharn is a kind of a privileged boy-next-door sort and as a result, Tharn could have come off as boring . But underneath the good nature there's passion, righteous anger, desperation, devotion, mountainous vulnerability, and patience--wrapped in a burrito shell of VERY poorly reined-in impulses and absolutely abysmal decision making skills. And Mew brings every moment of that to life in superb color.

And while I spent half the time facepalming at Techno's utter lack of control over his mouth, I spent the rest of the time just laughing at his antics. If there was an award for loving a difficult friend, boy Techno would win it. Mild gave an amazing performance and it left me loving Techno forever.

Kudos also go to Tong for thankless job of playing Thorn, the best and worst older brother ever. (Worst because hello, is there a reason he didn't castrate San way back when Tharn was 14!? Let alone stayed friends with the creep?) Best brother for obvious reasons. He's really good at support.

And though he played one of the more insidious, criminally culpable villains I've ever seen in a college setting BL, the actor who played Lhong brought a lot of pathos and nuance to the character. It was chilling toward the end.

The gallery of smaller appearances and background characters was a lot richer and more varied than I expected. Champ was adorably sensitive, what we see of him, and he's such a rock at the end. San was suitably sleazy feeling. P'Jeed was a GEM! Team was hilarious! Both of the actors playing Tharn's parents were rock solid adorable! I loved them! The young actress playing Thanya made me grin like, non-stop. And while I didn't think Kokliang, the actor playing Tar, was nearly as cute as I think I was supposed to find him, I certainly found him very convincingly tragic. He acted the hell out of that role! Bravo!
The actors actors do such a good job I felt effortlessly swept up in the characterizations, even when I was yelling at them for doing terrible things.

Now onto production values. For a college setting it was visually pretty authentic, except for crowds at the football pitch. Their dorms even looked more like actual dorms than I'm used to seeing in a BL. Tharn's home definitely sold his social class and his family's identity as wealthy, progressive, "modern" Thai's. P'Jeed's bar was cute, with a cool 90's retro folk rock revival feel. Lighting values were very nice. The director knew how to set a mood. Music was excellent! I am hooked on that theme song.

Now onto the plot. The plot has to be looked at on two merits. The coherency of the plot and the actual way the themes were handled. Because the drama scores differently on each.

The love story itself just kicked my butt in terms of it's realism. That was sometimes wonderful and sometimes it was chilling. Steamy and heartbreaking and dark and hilarious and tender and infuriating, all in turns. This might sound like it was incoherent, but it wasn't. The actual structure of the romance plot was brilliant in its form. Intelligent dialog, authentic emotions out the wazo, good pace, excellent employment of background characters, and it all made blessed, blessed sense. I hate plots that make no sense. It had an unexpected villain. And the ending was amazingly dramatic! I needed a damn staycation to recover from binging it. Ultimately, this one set a standard for me for me both in what I wanted in a BL and what I hated in a BL. I definitely say that the screen writer was very skilled in adapting the shoddy source material.

Now for the themes. This show is NOT an easy watch. The show deals with some seriously adult topics, so be ready for some very dark themes. I was shocked by the gravity of some of it until later when I realized who the author was. I don't hate BL's with dark themes. I hate BL's where the dark themes are treated lightly or like fetish material. And for the most part that doesn't happen in this drama.

There are two notable moments when I felt the show fell short contextualizing lack of consent properly or completely within the framework of their romance. When Tharn gets revenge on Type's rampantly awful homophobic behaviors by leaving hickeys on him while he's out cold, it's not presented with the right tone. Yes, we see later how angry Type is but the overall context is that it was meant to make the audience laugh and that's a hard no. Not, NOT good. Horrible, in fact. And there is a moment when Tharn goes down on Type in the shower. It's not exactly non-consensual, but it's OH so damn close. Shockingly close. Type isn't restrained during the oral sex, but Tharn didn't gain anything resembling consent before he went about it and at least initially, Type was scared. Now, I will say that later Tharn shows remorse for that. I was gratified to find that later the plot does address it as an unacceptable act and I feel like the apology was definitely framed correctly not only on its own merits but because of the context of how it might have made some of Type's issues temporarily worse. And that is very rare in BL's. But that doesn't mean I felt the shower scene itself was framed correctly. Because it totally wasn't. Those two moments did not get proper treatment in terms of tone and it was something I think was a huge mistake.

There was one element of negativity in the romance I feel the show didn't handle wrong, per se. The tone was grave enough. But it wasn't "discussed" in the plot. And I wanted it to be. We saw by the end that Type had stopped doing it, but I really wanted a conversation about it. So it was handled okay, but not perfectly. Type had some serious anger issues and on more than one occasion he is what I would consider physically abusive with Tharn. I do note that as the story unfolded into the after series content and into the next season, this behavior is gone. But for the times we see it, I would have liked to have seen something more deliberate in the way of an approach to show this behavior for what it was.

(BL Done right!) This drama also has one of the sweetest, most authentic and casually sexy "gently mop the sick boy's brow" scenes I have ever watched. I typically roll my eyes at those scenes. Really, many of them are less "let me take care of you and relieve your suffering" and more "hey, let me awkwardly grope you with a wet towel while you feel too sucky to stop me." Mew managed to do something during that scene I'd rarely witnessed, which is make it look like he was actually trying to cool off a sick/fevered person and not just clumsily violating his love interest's personal bubble. And Gulf's performance was heartbreaking. Seriously, where did they find these two actors!!!

(BL done sort of wrong) During the course of their early very unhealthy dynamic, Tharn, against his own expectations, fell in love with Type. LOL. Not the bad part. But during the time frame after Tharn took care of Type when he was sick, a couple of nights Tharn kissed on Type's brow when he either is asleep, or he thinks he's asleep. While it was very benedictory and not sexual, more a "may you sleep without nightmares and may you not be sick again" kind of thing--I still feel like it was a little bit "no".

(BL done right!) Tharn's relationship with the idea of love is very dear. His ability to give himself to over to love after all the mishaps of past relationships shows a generous and hopeful nature. His willingness to walk away from Type when Type has such trouble coming to terms with his own sexuality shows a solid sense of self. And this is all beautifully contrasted by Lhong's greedy, malevolent love by contrast. He is neither well meaning or generous in his love. And his lack of sense of self is at the root. So wow. That was some brilliantly woven, complex and nuanced symmetry.

(BL done wrong!) The main thing I didn't really care for was that in the real world, Llong should have more consequences for his actions, instead of getting a teary-eyed, soppy "I turned bad because I was neglected" scene at the end. I rarely like villain redemption through apologist backstories. Your past never validates or diminishes the consequences for others when you do awful shit to people. Which is the same reason why Type's toxic behavior toward Than, while understandable, is not okay. Period.

(BL done right!) Type's filial relationships are so goddamn wholesome! I mean it! I loved his family and their dynamics were just not only very loving but very casually accepting of who Tharn was. I could have watched a whole drama just about Tharn and his brother, let alone the rest of that basket of absolute sweetness. I think this family's characterization is meant to be seen as the core of why Tharn is so well adjusted in his own sexual identity.

(BL done wrong!) They don't necessarily ever have Type demonstrate any real understanding that there's a difference between a pedophile and a homosexual. He reaches a place of "I get it. Not all gays", which I think we're supposed to feel is character growth, and compared to where Type started, it definitely IS. But it's not what I hoped for. It does nothing to deconstruct the patently false narrative that Type carries within him. One that is harming real gay peoples' lives every time it's perpetuated without being challenged. Yes, sore spot for me.

(BL done right!) The address of Tar's past was hearthbreaking and spine chilling and they did NOT handle it graphicly, thank fuck! But they did handle it in a way that you really felt the horror of what was done to him and so the tone was grave and grim and pitch perfect.

(BL done wrong!) I felt that at some point some damn boundaries should have been set for San! I left the show wishing Tharn would have said "hands off of me" and Thorn would have punched him for old time's sake. Or maybe booted him in the crotch. A lot. This character is a pedophile and his perpetual place in his victim's life (Tharn), while a sadly realistic component, was really REALLY not something I cared for. He was so slimy. And I get that we're supposed to feel like he's slimy, but I felt he was so believably slimy I wanted a cattle prod in Type's hands and the two of them alone in a room for 2 minutes.

Finally, there is a reason Mew Suppasit and Gulf Kanawut won awards for best kiss. The chemistry between the two of them is the most solid between two actors in any on-screen romance that I have ever seen in any country, in any genre ever. I've undoubtedly never seen anything as authentic before. The kisses were pure art.

So if you choose to watch this be forewarned. The content is hard. Be ready for a wild ride that really, REALLY feels good at the very end but the road there is sometimes awful. If you can make it through the rough waters I feel the payoff is worth it. Bring your girlfriends, some hot cocoa, a comfy blanket and DO NOT FORGET THE BOX OF TISSUE! And if you have to tap out, hey, I almost did at several points. There is no shame. I'm glad I didn't. But it was a near thing.

My favorite BL Series

Tharntype is the second BL I watched (after “Beloved Enemy”), and it hooked me on the genre! The story is fantastically written. I connected with the characters and their emotional roller coaster ride. Type and Tharn’s chemistry is off the charts! Mew and Gulf are fantastic actors, and that shines in this series. Just, wow. I loved watching Type’s expressions throughout the series. They’re so expressive, and telling. You can watch his trauma-based homophobia melt away as he comes to terms with his past, and finally allows himself to fall in love with Tharn. Tharn is so patient with Type while he works though his issues. Techno was annoying at first, but I absolutely love him now! He adds a lot of comedic relief. The music in this show is perfect, and the OST is downloaded in my iTunes! Mew’s singing is beautiful and mesmerizing! This is a BL with a great storyline, AND a lot of steamy, hot sex scenes! In my opinion, the perfect BL combination. I’ll never look at ice the same way again! :D This is a story of past trauma and coming to terms with it, a “best friend’s” obsessive manipulation, a HOT love story, the issues surrounding coming out, and accepting who you really are despite past trauma, or what you were raised to believe. I DEFINITELY recommend this series, as it is again, my favorite BL!

You hate it but you love it

I still wonder how LBC and this got so popular despite being SUPER problematic. Hell how did the original novel get so popular considering (from what I've heard) it's about 10x worse??
Anyway, TharnType was doomed from the start with the plot it has but somehow they made it work. At the end of the day when you watch it, you actually enjoy it, and you actually LIKE it, despite how messy it is.
I'd say this, the acting and chemistry carried this show on its bare back. The direction also needs to be praised coz the way the plot and character development was showcased is pretty good.
Now for the stuff we all hate:
1. The plot promotes rape culture. It's actually a pretty common "trope" (so to say) in both het and gay media: if the person you like doesn't like you back you should just keep pushing, invade their personal space, even molest them into liking you. Coz that's basicallyMew is charming enough to make Tharn look likeable, and the plot makes you feel bad for him, but realistically he's abusive. Not only that, his behavior stems from the abuse that was inflicted on him - his brother's friend "convinced" the "small and cute" 14-year-old Tharn to have sex with him (that would probably be considered statutory rape) and it was a pretty scarring experience for Tharn. Further on this note
2. The plot heavily dilutes the seriousness of rape. On one hand you have your friendly neighborhood Tharn molesting a rape survivor, on the other you have Tar's rapists and blackmailer/mastermind getting off scot free (Lhong even got a "redemption arc" imagine that). Then there's Tharn's own abuser who comes home for tea every other week and even tries to interfere in TharnType's relationship, and what he did is?? Never really addressed?? Won't get into Techno and Kengkla here, but No deserved so much better than being shipped with his rapist.
3. The (pseudo?) incest. Idc if they're not blood related its still weird for Tum to be into his brother. Why are all the ships in this universe so weird?
4. Regarding the flow of the plot, there are some aspects that feel a little too dragged out or clickbait-y compared to their actual relevance in the story. Or looking at it in another way, the plot points are kinda left as loose ends or snipped too fast after dragging it out. For example, the Type dating Puifai drama was pretty stretched out, but then it just resolved it two seconds and we don't even see her again. Then there's P'San, Type makes a whole mess being jealous, but in the end San just ends up being a "teaching moment" character with no actual purpose in the story.
5. Sideships/characters that are just... there. What was even the point of making Khlui and Seo a thing when they end the series exactly how they started? Also Techno/Champ is such a missed opportunity ugh why would you choose to write a fcking rapistxvictim plot instead of that wholesome and cute duo?

Now for the good parts.
1. The cast. THE CAST. Like literally every one of them is a gem, but especially Gulf, Mew, Kaownah, and Mild. The acting is one of the biggest pros TharnType has over LBC and boy does it carry the show. Seriously the only reason the show is tolerable is coz the actors make it.
2. The characterization of Tharn and Type is actually pretty good, especially Type. The whole brash exterior but soft interior thing was really well pulled off - again, props to Gulf. Initially I kinda hated Type's characterization (I mean... the homophobia? The ill-temper? Take your pick) but then as the plot progressed he kinda unraveled into a more well-rounded character with both rough and soft aspects, especially those little transitions into softness whenever Tharn did something sweet. With Tharn... well, the character makes you wanna root for him. If you leave aside the creepy parts, he's the perfect pining, sad protagonist you're supposed to root for. His shittier actions are overshadowed by the "nice" things he does. Hell, putting them in one frame he seems like the "saner" one. That also plays into the rape culture aspect - him being pushy and creepy is portrayed as being "playful" and "flirty" and "dedicated" and coz Type is shown to "like" it, we're supposed to as well. It's honestly not that different from Kengkla and No after all. To get to the point, I initially liked his character and if I watch it again I'll probably still end up liking him, but he's basically the "Nice Guy" trope personified - Mew just pulls it off well and the way he's portrayed makes you forget that. I'll still put that as a pro for characterization coz they made him likeable.
3. The Lhong as the villain plot twist and Type's whole plan to take him down was pretty good. But unfortunately the retribution seems painfully less, you just see him crying to three different people and then Father Thorn "forgives" his sins. Yeah as if he didn't get a kid gangraped, blackmailed and traumatized him for years, and tried to murder Type.

Well, to conclude... if you haven't watched it, I'll probably say don't watch it. But at the same time, I actually did enjoy watching it despite how messed up it is.

Some of the most lovable characters despite some problematic story elements

NO-SPOILER REVIEW

This series is a rollercoaster of emotions. The overall story can be polarizing, with several darker and mature themes (including consent and homophobia) as well morally questionable characters and actions. If you're able to overlook those flaws and focus on the character development and overall relationship, there are plenty of exciting and heartwarming moments that can balance out some of the problematic elements.

Pros
- Superb actor chemistry. The lead actors make this series everything it is and are the main reason it's so popular despite the problematic story and character issues.
- The plot keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more-for better or worse.
- The OST is great.

Cons
- Problematic story and morally questionable characters and actions. Be warned of the mature themes.
- Some parts of the story feel like they jump around, without having the right amount of time dedicated to certain plot points or character development which can be confusing.

Overall
- This series is what it is because of the lead actors (MewGulf). For those who can overlook the problematic elements of the story and characters, you'll enjoy seeing every moment of interaction between them.

CUTEST ROMANCE-U CAN WATCH JUST FOR MAIN LEADS

I can understand why this much fan following for this drama after watching this. Its mainly because of Main leads chemistry. They both are just awesome just lived throgh the characters. Its very natural beacuse of flawed main lead characters. Its reallly enjoyable to watch types Hate/Selfishness become love&care.this drama OST is a very catchy melody that will become ur favorite at the instant you hear it. This drama has all basic aspects of chemistry, love- hate relationship, friendship, funny, Most romantic moments. If you thinking about watching then pls go for it.U wont regret it.

Spoilers
I felt few aspects was wrong in this drama like leaving negative character without any punishment/justifying his actions, tharn groping type without his consent at begining, tum & tar relationship ,Tar looking very young to be in relationship with tharn etc.But after reading novel i felt the characters are correct in their viewpoints.obviously its difficult to convey every charcters inner thinking/struggles is difficult to show through drama. But the best part to compare novel and drama is how the 2 actors give life to those 2 beautiful charcters(THARN&tYPE) in screen.Kudos.

Even throgh i felt the above points are logic misses, I really enjoyed the drama and eager to watch part 2.

U should watch it once for the chemistry itself.

Firstly i wondered why this series is not rated 10/10 or atleast 9,After reading some comments i came to know that there are some flaws in the story line...
But again if you ask me i would go back from my words, DEFINITELY NOT!!
I loved watching this series... Though there are some flaws in this series, all are ruled out by the immense romance of the main leads...? Both Mew and Gulf has a beautiful chemistry both On and Off screen.. You can watch this series only for them... And the series story line is also not that bad as mentioned in some comments... This series have so many cute scenes that will make ourself blush and give butterflies.. ?
The Series casting is really good!! Both MewGulf beautifully depicted the Tharntype from the Novel..You won't get bored at all, you will be engaged throughout the series... There is also some scenes which will make you cry hard(tharntype breakup scene ?)
Personally, I watched this series more than 5 times.. ?It's my goto series even when I'm Sad or Happy...
I recommend to watch this series to witness the beautiful love of THARN and TYPE?

the best thing abt it is the homophobia....

the story has is a 1 bc how funny the first episode is. show drops off as type gets less homophobic and it starts becoming Genuinely Harrowing. they failed at fucking everything they tried to do here lmfao. if u want an actually sensitive exploration into homophobia and trauma go watch until we meet again which came out the same year. I PROMISE there is nothing for you here unless you can laugh at how much it failed. not only is the homophobia played for laughs but it only gets VALIDATED by the story itself. i tried rewatching it for the first time since 2019 w my friend and we just found it rlly depressing.
WATCH UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN INSTEAD.

Before watching TharnType, I had watched Why R U. I knew this show existed and I immediately recognized their cameo in the first/second episode. So after watching Why R U I knew I had to watch TharnType because of how well-known it is among the BL community. I really enjoyed this show; both seasons and special episodes as well. Mew and Gulf have incredible chemistry and play the roles of Tharn and Type better than anyone else could.

The reason the rewatch value is only a 9.5 is because of the annoying characters who keep getting in the way, but other than that, I'd say that the rest of it is pretty rewatchable because of all the hilarious, interesting, and romantic moments that make up the show.

Bro and the theme song for this drama is probably the best theme song I've ever heard in my 16 years of life.
Anyways, watch this show because it's amazing.

Middle

This series has great acting but a horrible plot, I can say that the story is so intense in this series.

Story: The story lacks something that the whole series makes it lowkey
Acting: Portrayal of Characters is the great thing in this series they make it look so realistic and really change my mood often while watching it.
Music: OMG!! The songs in this series help a lot and the ost is so great too
Rewatch: I think I can rewatch it because I really want to see the actors portrait their characters and the music.
Overall: Overall this series is great and I love it when it came out in 2019.

Pretty good

It was personally really good! The plot was unusual and I was honestly shocked. The acting was great and I loved the characters a lot. Although some parts were a bit confusing, I figured them out shortly after. Although I didn't see any warning for some of the stuff that happened. THIS IS A WARNING IF YOU'RE GOING TO WATCH THIS; IF SCENES OF SEXUAL ASSAULT, BREAKDOWNS, BREAKDOWNS IN SHOWERS (NEAR SUICIDE ATTEMPT IN MY EYES) TRIGGER YOU, PLEASE WATCH WITH CAUTION. THERE WILL NOT BE SCENES SHOWING VERY MUCH OF THESE THINGS BUT THIS IS FOR YOU TO BE CAREFUL. I really enjoyed the side characters' stories too! I recommend this show a lot, but it will not have much angst don't worry.
