O relacionamento é puramente depressivo e opressivo

The female lead could be seen as a pushover at times, but I could see myself in her shoes. She's a introvert and she has a hard time expressing her feelings and people tend to use that to their benefit.
I do have to admit the drama had me hooked for the first half before it started to get boring. I'm not sure if it's because it started to steer towards another ending, or I felt like the events in the drama seemed to bore me. Some people did end up feeling unsatisfied with the drama because of the ending though. The ending does not have a solid conclusion and the audience is left to make up their own ending but I was fine with it. It kind of left me wanting to know more so I went back to the webtoon but that's not completed yet either.

I loved In Ho's character and his character growth, I really wanted Hong Seol to end up with In Ho and not Yoo Jung. Seol and Jung were awkward around each other and Seol seemed like she didn't even know that Jung liked her and she didn't think of him that way, but she was so happy that someone liked her so she said yes, not to mention Jung told her to say yes and kinda pushed her into it. Seol and In Ho talked to each other so openly and even when he just met her a few weeks ago even he knew when something was wrong with her or she was hiding something. I didn't like Jung's character either he was manipulative and psychotic (which is what they were aiming for so good job) but I just didn't think he was right for her! I haven't even finished the show yet and all my friends spoiled it for me, In Ho is my favorite character and the actor who played him (I can't remember his name rn sorry) did a great job playing him he really portrayed In Ho well. In Ho was meant to be the "fighter/tough guy" but he was really actually nice to Hong Seol from the start, besides him making her get him food... yeah anyways the show was good I just really liked In Ho and wanted him to be with Seol. Btw In Ho totally kicked ass when Seol's stalker pushed Seol into the alleyway and I really liked In Ho's backstory and the whole piano player thing it was really cute and sweet. Firstly, I love how realistic the story is. It presents truthfully the struggles of regular university students. I also love how almost "common" the story of the lead couple started.
Secondly, the characters were all interesting! I will not say lovable because I had my fair share of love-hate relationship with Jung and Seol. But indeed, they were very interesting... and intriguing. You dont always get to watch a drama wherein the lead couple is not a bubbly girl paired with a silently mysterious hot guy who is kind and warm inside. The characters are very different from characters of Kdrama classics I've come to love. It felt refreshing to watch this, actually.
But then again, I did not like the OST as much. And I am also aware of the controversies about the production of this show. I would agree to most fans saying that somewhere along the drama, there were scenes that seemed off and unncessary. The building of In Ho's character was too much and the ending did not give justice to that. Also, I did miss Jung in several episodes.
Nonetheless, I love this drama so much! It's relatable and it will feed your mind with things to ponder on about life, dating, growing as a person and the value of people around you.
P.S. I know most people despise the ending but I totally love it! Its not your usual ending but again, its realistic so thay made the whole drama even more lovable and remarkable!

Although it's kind of sad that such a great series came to the unfortunate ending, but this special episode reminded me of the great times on set and the unforgettable moments during the actual drama. Super worth watching!

The characters portrayed the role so perfectly, even though I was skeptical at the beginning regarding Sunbae's true colors. I felt relieved at the end though. How I wish that there was a better ending to the show. It felt like the main lead was In Ho.

Most frustrating show I’ve ever watched
I have never hated a male lead in a kdrama the way I did with this show and the female lead was so frustrating. I spent the whole show waiting for her to break up with him and she instead enabled every negative thing the male lead said and did. They had one of the most toxic relationships I’ve seen in quite a while and no chemistry whatsoever.Second male lead was one of the few redeeming things in this drama but he absolutely deserved better.
I found that the side characters were for the most part a lot more enjoyable which helped me see this drama to the end.
The acting was great but the plot made me want to pull my hair out. Definitely won’t be watching again.

I am in the trap.
I feel so emotional whenever I watch the drama, even the clips on YouTube/Facebook. Have watched this drama, don't know how many times, not sure. The two main characters are complicated and simple at the same time. Love the chemistry between the two.
I just love the lead actress Kim Go Eun.
Have watched most of her work. Lead actor Park Hae-jin, played the role so nicely, coldness in his eyes in some of the scenes, is breathtaking.
I would recommend to watch this drama for the two lead characters.

first time I drop a kdrama!
I read alot of good reviews on this show and decided to watch, I loved the story in the beginning, they gave you just the right amount of frustration, excitement, faster heartbeat and sweetness to be hooked and wanting to see more. But then it all goes downhill! Yoo Jung starts off as a phsyco, but about midway they want you to sympathise with him and he just turns into a misunderstood boy with a sad past full of rejection, they should have just kept his caracter interensting, ugh, Seol wants to see the best in people and fails to put together a whole picture of Jung who is obviously not sane, still at the same time she is completely blind to how relaxed she is around In Ho, how their friendship is always fun and effortless. In Ho, (*sweats) the sweetness of their relationship... They make you think they are going somewhere with it, only to let you down. Yes, I looked up the ending online, and found it so frustrating that I had no need to finish the show, the only thing I was drawn to was to see more of Seo Kang Jun... instead, I just looked up other dramas starring him and started to watch.
This is the first kdrama I ever drop! I have of course fast forwarded some dramas, and loved and hated them at the same time, and some I have started to watch, and decided I didn´t like them after watching the first episode, but I have never not finished one I have started before, so that is how bad it is to me
So:
The story had potential but failed
The music is ok, nothing realy memorable
The cast is good, just give me 16 hours of Seo Kang Jun and I will be fine, so I gave it 5.0 only for his sake
Rewach? only to see more of Seo Kang Jun pretty face
Overall...uhg

Where my Second Lead Syndrome Started
Love the story line not predictable and builds up nicely - realistic ending. Both Leads are EXCELLENT!
Cried SOOO HARD internally for her to PLEASE PICK the second lead.
Their friendship and relationship deserved a chance. HE DESERVED it - there's no questioning.
Baek In Ha - LITERALLY definition of SPOLIT and SELFISH and that it doesn't matter how Pretty you may seem it cant hide your PETTY Ugly SOUL!!
Scary and very SAD about the stalking reality and class division in this country as portrayed in their dramas.

Friendship, Mystery, and a Touch of Darkness: Why This Show Remains a Must-Watch
As a die-hard fan of the series, diving into the behind-the-scenes world was like unwrapping a surprise gift – you just never know what delightful nuggets of goodness you're going to find!First off, can we talk about the chemistry between the cast? It's like watching a group of old friends hanging out and having a blast. You can tell they genuinely enjoyed working together, and it shines through in every scene. It's infectious, I tell you!
Now, let's talk about the real stars of the show – Kim Go Eun and Park Hae-jin. These two are a match made in drama heaven! Kim Go Eun's portrayal of our relatable leading lady had me cheering her on every step of the way. And Park Hae-jin? Oh boy, that coldness in his eyes? It's like he can see into your soul! Talk about breathtaking.
But can we pause for a moment and give a shoutout to our beloved second lead? I mean, come on, who didn't internally sob for him to get the girl? His friendship with the leading lady deserved a chance, and he deserved it, no questions asked!
Now, let's talk villains. Baek In Ha? Girl, you may be pretty on the outside, but your petty soul? It's showing, honey! And don't even get me started on the stalking subplot – it's like a rollercoaster of emotions, from scary to downright heartbreaking.
But you know what? Despite the ups and downs, this special episode reminded me why I fell in love with "Cheese in the Trap" in the first place. It's real, it's relatable, and it's just so darn fun to watch!
