-Both are crime dramas
-Very similar vibe
-Both follow the main character (who is a young rookie detective, still holding onto his dark past involving the police versus criminal-minds-esc bad guys, and because of this he often lets his emotions control his actions and judgement) and the other characters on his detective team while they work to solve many major crimes and cases (roughly 6-8 throughout the season) that lead up to solving a major case
-(Signal works with cold cases and Hidden Identity just works with cases revolving around a mysterious person named "the Ghost")
-Both feature 1 badass female on the team who's past is also dark, mysterious, slowly revealed throughout the series, and affects her judgement (although less than the past affects the main character)
-You fall in love with every single character on the team - no matter how small their roles
-The dramas do not shy away from tragedy, violence and heavy/dark plot twists
-There's always that "there's something else going on here" vibe
-THE PLOT TWISTS THO. ... yup. Imma just leave it like that.
-The acting is INCREDIBLE. You will cry. Multiple times, probably. It will hurt. But it is amazing
-Both make you wonder, "what kind of sick, twisted, brilliant, talented person could come up with/write this plot??"
-No romance... (technically)... Trust me, you don't need it.

Both dramas are involving police undercover. How the undercover cops fight the the dark world to survive and gain trust while not forgetting their morals and beliefs of justice. Both stories are filled with action scenes and carefully plotted and executed plans. Truly exciting to watch! The main characters are somewhat similar in terms of personality, filled with dark past, sadness, and rage but cannot show any of that to anyone.
If you want some action, crime, thriller, investigation, and a detective story, you've got to watch this too. Both of the teams are tasked to catch someone. In bad guys, POLICE +CRIMINALS. In hidden identity: SECRET AGENTS who go undercover. There are so many revelations. Expect the unexpected. The main character in hidden identity tries to seek revenge for his girlfriend's death. No love story except for the flashbacks. In bad guys, they identify and catch criminals to shorten their imprisonment. Plus, both series have the SAME DIRECTOR!
If you want some action, crime, thriller, investigation, and a detective story, you've got to watch this too. They go undercover. Almost the same plot but the difference is their main task. In cold eyes, they follow and get information while in hidden identity, they find information, go undercover and follow, get the evidence or retrieve the stolen item then catch the criminals. It is like watching a series of cold eyes movie. Expect the unexpected. The main character in hidden identity tries to seek revenge for his girlfriend's death. No love story except for the flashbacks.
