The ending so many room for imagination that leaves me dreaming for more happy moments for these two.
The main character, Gong Min (played by Jing Bo Ran) is such a Dreamboat that i for sure would like to change this drama title to "My Dreamy Man From Another Century". He is such a great lover that i hope they show a little bit longer in the ending. The acting by the actress is a bit mediocre but its okay as long as the lead and the supporting actors are good. I cant help to have a crush on Han Yu Fei and Wang Mang eventhough i extremely love Gong Min. Huhu.
And lastly, almost all the scenes that have moments between Gong Min and Xiang Xiang is so sweet and i really love it. I can rewatch this drama again (as i already rewatch QIHM for 3 times already) just for their moments. Hey, i even cried when they broke up. Lol.

I have watched 3 times of the kor version and still so much in love with the love story part :P
Story:
same as the synopsis and same as the kor version just a little shortening of the drama and history part, that's all.
oh and there are added leads for the c-version.
heard that this story was bought over and remake in C-version but with a Korean director and team firming.... (read from the internet somewhr)
Cast:
The Cast was ok... tik the female lead acting improved bah but I tik the male lead was quite a looker and will succeed in other drama soon :P
The side leads was good and the story is easy to follow with the historical plot defer from the kor version but still, its easy to unstand and follow on the drama
Music:
was ok - nothing special caught my ears ....
Rewatch Value:
maybe some scenes that you want to see the lovey dovey of the relationship. ^.^
Watch if you like :-
:- Queen in Hyun's man
:- a romance story
:- historical love travel times
its rather short drama so u can surely watch it over the weekend or so. Cheers!

Overall this drama was a good remake because it mostly followed the original drama, but added its own things to make it its own. The reason I steer away from remakes because a lot of them are just the exact same as the original, which makes it quite boring to watch. Remakes can also go the other way, changing so much things that it becomes loosely based on the original, which can have mixed results.
I'm probably biased because I am a fan of time travel dramas. Another reason this drama was good because the conflict in the story actually made sense with the plot. The conflict didn't suddenly come out of nowhere. It was thoroughly explained in the beginning, and made sense as it played out. I also rarely watch Mainland China dramas because of its ridiculousness. The only time I will ever watch a Mainland drama will be because it sucked me in with its plot.
One thing I though was unnecessary was the ending. Unsurprisingly, Mainland China dramas always have crappy endings because the producers want to milk every last drop of the story. I was not wrong on this one. This drama could have had a good ending, but they had to "summarize" everything that happened, which included unnecessary details. It was good to rewatch the details, but having a recap summary after watching the whole drama seemed unnecessary.
If anyone wants to watch the drama in a 2-ep summary should just watch the second to last ep and the last ep.To anyone who wants to watch the whole drama, they should watch up to EP23 5:30 to be satisfied or else they will end with the unsatisfying ending.

I think the charm of the premise is this dignified scholar falling in love with this ridiculous young lady from the future. In many ways, she gets to appear competent because he has no idea what to do in the modern world.
The music at times could be truly beautiful and poignant. Similar to the Korean version, I adore the use of the traditional instruments.
Romance
Our hero has a lovely way of looking at our heroine like he is really listening to her and interested in what she’s going to do or say next. She’s really nothing, but he thinks she is the greatest. And I find that so incredibly cute.
“I like your personality very much.”
The pair have a very nice dynamic that is innocent and simple. They make each other happy.
“Seeing you there is hope and I have courage.”
It was very cute seeing Gong Min pine away for Xiang Xiang even when he couldn’t remember her. It kind of made their love feel more substantial. Even when he doesn’t remember her he can’t do without her.
I like how even though he is always strong in front of Ying Yue, his grief over losing Xiang Xiang is so great that he can’t hide it from her.
Kdrama vs. C-Drama
I appreciate that the interactions between characters are not exaggerated. There is a sense of normalcy with the pair without having to overdramatise everything.

Anyway!! The story as a whole I think it's about the same as the K-version... So basically, it's about a scholar/the queen's assistant from the past who received a pendant that has the power to bring him forward to the future to search for proofs to save his queen from false accusation?!? (I forgot, but I think they about to behead the queen)... In the future time, he met a rookie actress by accident #LOL and from here all the fun began!! In the beginning, the girl thought that he was crazy because he claimed to be from the past, but slowly she started to believe him and befriended him... and SLOWLY they both started to develop feelings for each other but conflicts happened in the future and past time!! Our main guy here uncertain which one to choose, go back to the past to save his queen or stay in the future with the girl he loves.
Oh and btw, every time he went back to the past and changed history, the memory of people from the future were shifted... WARNING!! There would be amnesia happenings here and there and you might shed tears!!

It was great but the end totally sucks!!! I love the main leads!! They are both good looking. The chemistry between them is so strong.
Tried to look for his dramas but he doesn’t do that many... that’s too bad!!
Great series to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remake of Queen In Hyun's man, but better
I saw the korean drama Queen In Hyun's man when it aired in 2012. It was one of my favourite dramas then and I was soo happy when I heard a chinese version would be filmed in 2015. Since I have rewatched both dramas several times. Sometimes only a few scenes and sometimes the whole drama, so I can guarantee: the rewatch value is very high!!Why is that?
First: the story is quite simple and easy to follow, noentheless very capturing. The male lead lives in the Han Dynasty (chin. version) and because of an amulet for protection transported into the future (our present time) whenever he encounters a lifethreatening situation. The first person he meets there is the female lead, an uprising drama actor, who happens to play the role of a Han Dynasty Queen - exactly the one the male lead knows personally... The story goes on with him trying to use the knowledge of the future to change the past and the female lead helps him to find his way around in the complicated future and of course, they fall in love. So much for the story.
Second: the actors are quite well known and have a really really good chemistry! The female lead might be better known to the regular chinese drama watcher, as she acted in dramas like "LoveO20" or "Till the dead of summer", but the male lead is also quite famous, but acts more in films, best known maybe for his mane role in "The little Monster". Their acting is good and they portray their characters very well. Especially the male lead never ceases to amaze me with his on point facial expressions and body language. Good looks on top :D The female lead has been criticized for mediocre acting, but I actually think her acting fit the role - an actress, who just can't stop to being a little bit over the top and trying to act a bit sweet around the man she hopes to win over. Anyway the best about this drama defenitly are the super sweet scenes between the main couple and that there are a lot of them.
Third: although there is a lot of drama, no misunderstanding or separation lasts longer than two episodes, so no dragging here! The drama has only 24 episodes so there are no boring filler episodes and the story unfolds in a good pace. I really like the way the relationships in this drama are portrayed. The main lead's relationship develops quickly but reasonably and their problems are realistic, despite the whole time travel thing, and are solved in a mature way. Even though their scenes are very sweet it is never too much or extremely cliché, just right. The side characters are funny and weird in present time and serious but friendly in the past, but all very likeable. The only little bit annoying character was the female lead's ex-boyfriend, but it was never so much that I would have wanted to skip. Also very good were the friendships in this drama. We have a few of them and all of them are different, but all are good. I think I liked the friendship between the main lead and his childhood best friend in the past the best.
Why do I like the chinese version more than the korean one?
In the chinese version they added the best friend of the male lead in the past and also changed the past story a little bit. It seemed more in detail and it brought the main leads connection to his period a bit closer and also more relateable why he repeatedly chooses to go back. Also, the chinese drama (24 eps a 45 minutes) is a bit longer than the korean version (16 eps a 60 minutes) and that's how we get a bit more in depth development od story and characters. And last but not least the female lead in the chinese version has not so many utterly devestated crying scenes. I really didn't like the crying nearly screaming of the female lead in the korean version. That was just too much!!
So all in all, I can really recommend this drama. Even though it is a little bit older, the clothing style and phones they use are not ofsetting yet (in comparison to older dramas like "Full house" or "Boys befor Flowers"...).

A Review of "Love Through a Millennium"
This Chinese remake of the Korean drama Queen In Hyun's Man puts a fresh spin on the original with its own unique twists and improvements. The historical setting is engaging, building a strong foundation for the story and making it stand out with its well-crafted plot. The romance and political drama in this one are told in a way that's easier to follow and more engaging than the Korean version. There was a love pentagon dynamic added here that made the relationships more complicated than they were in the Korean version. The initial development of the relationship between the main leads felt a bit rushed.
The soundtrack really stands out and captures the drama's emotions well. The historical elements are well executed, making this adaptation enjoyable for fans of period dramas.
However, there are some areas where the drama flopped a little. The fight scenes and certain dramatic moments weren't very believable or exciting. The acting was mostly good, but the main actress could have shown a wider range of feelings in her acting. Some of the supporting actors also seemed a bit too exaggerated in their roles.
Despite these issues, I still consider this Chinese remake a success and believe it's worth watching because it tells a fresh story and goes into the historical details in a thoughtful way. The complex web of relationships and the deeply felt emotions in the story make the drama very engaging. I also appreciated the fresh perspective.

Plot: could have worked since its a remake of the Korean version but it didnt as theres tpo much recycling of a thin plot that would hav worked if the drama is half of actual length
Cast: Jin Bo Ran was passable in his role but i have a hard time rooting for Zheng shuang character. I dont feel her and its hard to root for the heroine when you dont care
Chemistry: My major problem. somehow i dont feel them despite some scene s that were set romantically... i thought to myself if the actress was someome else could have worked...

The drama set in an interesting time slice of Chinese history, blended fact with fiction to create a believable story. However I was put off by the acting by some of the cast. The comic interplay was long winded and definitely not funny.
Zheng Shuang gave a mostly two-note performance as the bubblyheaded Lin Xiang Xiang - excitable and giddy. Jing Boran was a credible Gong Ming who changed from a stoic conservative scholar to a a man in love. Chen Sean acted well as Wang Mang portraying the complexity of a man who wanted to do good but somehow ended being bad. Yi Niki as Shao Fei Yan was okay, I had not fast forwarded any of her scenes. The rest of the acting was forgettable.
Fighting scenes were quick and added to the excitement of the drama.
I had watched watched Queen In Hyun's Man and wanted more of the same type of drama but I was disappointed with this.
If you had not watched Queen In Hyun's Man, this is worth a watch but not worth rewatching.
If you are looking for a Queen In Hyun, I will recommend a miss, it will frustrate as this will lose out as you will compare the two dramas.
How I rate
---
5 = okay, but will never watch again
8 = good with rewatch value
>8 = good with rewatch value and must OWN!
