The story is indecipherable but at a certain point you stop caring as I don't believe your supposed to be all that invested in the story. What matters are the visual and auditory elements, the cinematography, the panoramic development of Suzuki Yoko and the music that managed to hijack the endings. Personally I think it's not for everyone, because each episode is like ~50 minutes and it can be quite slow, but I highly recommend it. The bad character by Yasuda Ken is really suits him (and what's with the Osaka slang haha)
