Enjoyable storyline
It started a little slow. You can see and feel the chemistry between Su Nian Qin / "Yi Jin" and Sang Wu Yan. It does felt like it's made up. Both leads are worth of it and they are on same level. One can see why Su Nian Qin is the way he is. You also can tell Sang Wu Yan is smitten by him from the up get. Makes a person to watch and see what develops between the to. I already had some good laughs out of this. The KFC thing was funny. Thank you to the Writers and Producers for not making one of those males that are rude, yanks women around, arrogant or rich spoiled or a Bad Boy. Equal thank you for not making the female lead a subserviently, mumbling, weak minded, get in my face person.
I am really liking the Series 6 episodes in. I am pleasantly surprised; this series is in depth serious. I like the subplots too. I smile when Sang Wu Yan and Su Nian Qin hooked up. So far they look like a good couple. For once their isn't a mother asking if he/she are from a god family or do they have money? Oops, I spoke to soon😂. Her Mother can throw some guilt trip out there so far😂 . Her Mom is 100% wrong.
This is a well produces Series. It will have you wondering what happens next. I breaks my heart about the father. If You want to watch a roller coaster of a Series, this is the one. It is slow to develop but it is worth it. The way they dub in the music is right on point. They have the most appropriate score at the exact time. So far I haven't seen any filler episodes. Each episode built on the previous and the next episode.
Why is it in Chinese dramas that the rich, spoiled male lead, think he can beat everyone up? Su Nian Qin needs his ass beat. This is where I say Sang Wu Yan speak up and tell him where to go; but of course this is a Chinese romantic drama , that will not happened. Here's a new idea: If you do not want o talk to him, Cut off the phone or block him!🤔😲 Su Nian Qin Has become a stalker... oops it's considered as romantic pursuing a woman in Chinese romantic dramas.
Make sure you pay attention to the last 3 episodes. I really enjoyed this Series and I would recommend it to everyone to see it.
