Wonderful for what it is!
I'm gonna point out main characteristics of the show that I liked. You may or may not like these, and that's okay!
PLOT/WRITING:
Clichéd arranged marriage trope with typical top x bottom behaviours. Lian and Kuea just circle around keeping the engagement by indirectly discovering more about each other (heavily through a lot of lovey-dovey moments and some lovemaking scenes). LGBT+ issues are pointed out here and there, while the main couple have discussions on same-sex marriage in Thailand (both of which make sense to me and did not come off as preachy, considering that this is a BL show with a premise of arranged marriage).
CONFLICT:
The main sources of conflict and drama remind me heavily of telenovelas and teleseryes I watched growing up: lack of communication, characters' individual insecurities, and characters' poor decision-making. Add to that huge problems being solved either abruptly or through trivial solutions. I have an acquired taste for this 'vibe', so even if it did frustrate me during a couple episodes towards the end, it didn't deter me from watching the series.
PRODUCTION/SOUND:
The cinematography is really good. I also loved the OST which comprised of love song ballads and cutesy pop songs. Again, the songs work well for me from an Asian soap opera perspective.
ACTING:
The cast's performances are really good for the script they've been given. Absolutely no stiff neck or dead fish moments with the kissing scenes. I personally think the couples have insane chemistry, and I also think the cast did well in emotional scenes.
Stuff I want to address about other reviews:
This is a fictional show. If the outdated tropes being depicted come off as romanticization to you and you can't help but apply them in your real-life decisions and views, then you are not yet mature enough to watch this. It is perfectly normal to avoid the show altogether.
End note:
I don't know if it's common practice for users on here to keep watching a show they dislike, but I think it's much better to just drop the show if it bores/annoys/stresses you early on and mention that in your review. You do not have to watch the entire thing to justify your opinion on disliking the show. It's OK to dislike things for little to no reason at all, especially when it's about subjective topics such as TV shows!
I'm definitely gonna rewatch this since I enjoyed it. If you're still reading this, I hope you give the show a try and form your own opinions on it, whether you finish watching it or not :)
