The cinematography was simply perfect for the vibe and the soundtrack couldn't have been more perfect to represent teen angst. Also really loved the use of slowmo, sometimes in films I can feel sorta desperate to speed up a slowmo that lasts too long but they really knew when to utilize it throughout and it really emphasized certain scenes. Will definitely be that kind of movie that I can't stop thinking about for weeks.

Revenge served a bit too cold
After the massive setup done in part 1 I have to say I was expecting some more extended suffering for some of the offenders. I was hoping Yeonjin would have something done to her face, both because her beauty was clearly important to her and Yeojung being a plastic surgeon, I was just hoping for more from that scene when she's at his clinic. Speaking of Yeojung, we never see him do anything too psychotic and so I was also expecting more from his character in this second part. After learning more of the awful thing Myongoh did I wanted his character to go through it more. I loved that the development of each individual's downfall never directly implicated Dongeun, because it shows how smart and well crafted every step of her plan is, there were just moments I wanted to see more be done. I still massively enjoyed this show and appreciate Dongeun having a chance at being happy.By far my favorite scenes in the second half of the show were: Jaejoon pummeling the pedo teacher, then Doyoung beating him up; Hyunam slapping Yeonjin 2x; and Dongeun making Yeonjin's mother betray her.

The feel of a classic K-Drama with a feminist twist
This show really blew me away. Where do I even start? This felt so reminiscent of classics like Secret Garden and Coffee Prince with the slapstick style humor and hilariously ridiculous scenarios these mcs would find themselves in. However unlike the classics where the female lead was always helpless and poor and in need of a man's help, here we find Miran, a lawyer who beats up thugs and deals out justice on her own terms. She's so refreshing and funny that it's impossible not to love her from the start. The male lead on the other hand takes some warming up to since he comes off rather misogynistic at the beginning. However, once you learn of his past trauma and start to see his walls come down, it becomes hard not to fall for this pair. These two together are what make the show so brilliant. The chemistry, the dialogue, and the way they look at each other all felt so natural and kept me hooked through each episode. It's been a while since I watched a drama that clearly captures what it feels like to let yourself fall in love as an adult and this drama achieved this perfectly. I loved every scene between the main leads and felt like the show did a great job wrapping up their story.
My only complaint would be the side-couple. Personally they didn't do much for me and I didn't care for either of their friends. I know kdramas always like throwing a half-assed side couple at the end but spending like 15 minutes on them in the last 2 episodes felt like too much. Other than that, I loved everything else about this show.

Watch this for a more serious kdrama with realistic depictions of relationships
I never write reviews but for this drama I have to. I don't hear nearly enough people talk about this beautiful masterpiece of a show. Not only does it deal with all sorts of heavy topics within just 13 episodes, everything was done well and concisely. I think this drama is definitely for older, more mature kdrama lovers who watch for more than just a handsome cast. I ended up falling in love with the two main characters so quickly due to their natural chemistry and superb acting. I also really loved the writing, but be warned, this drama is a rollercoaster of emotions. I was laughing one minute and crying the next. I thought this would be a light-hearted drama, but the heavy topics dealt during these 13 30-minute episodes will have your heart wrenched in every direction. I really wish this drama was longer, because I feel like the writers would've done great with slightly more time to flesh out more aspects of their relationship. This drama isn't about soulmates, you're not going to watch two people who were destined to be together since they were in middle school fall in love and live happily ever after. This is kdrama about adults meeting with their own respective problems in life and deciding whether being together, despite the challenges, is better than being apart. I personally found so much hope after this drama, because of how realistic and relatable the characters and situations were. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a different kind of drama, one about life, love, and trusting oneself.

Best BL Hands Down
I thought Semantic Error wouldn't get any competition for my favorite BL, but Blueming has come as an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I loved the pacing of the drama, first time a short 11 episode drama feels complete and like the story was fleshed out in such little time. The ending wasn't rushed as it tends to happen for shorted bls, and the conflict resolution was incredible.I loved the heart of this drama. The main characters come from similar broken homes and find empathy and love in one another, which is rare when most dramas will use people's childhoods for why they act so horrible as adults. But this drama shows accountability, open communication and gives both parties the space to show their humanity. I absolutely love how this drama dealt with these two falling in love, so natural and beautiful.
If you're looking for something wholesome that feels like falling in love for the first time, I recommend this beautiful and heart-warming drama.
