Harem Update 04/06/2015

I'm a Filipina. My first k-drama was probably "My Name is Kim Sam Soon" or "Dae Jang Geum." I forget which aired first on local TV. Taiwanese dramas were more popular in the Philippines then so I watched more of those and only a few dubbed k-dramas that showed on local TV.

It wasn't until 2010 that I started becoming a full-fledged k-drama addict. I would spend hours and hours of my downtime marathoning k-dramas. To be fair, I also marathoned US, TW, JP, and CH shows but that was the year I started watching k-dramas live. Waiting up late at night at internet cafes (my dorm didn't have wifi) to see if that week's new episodes were subbed yet and waiting on tenterhooks when they weren't. Then I discovered 49 Days and I was impatient for subs and started searching the web for faster subbers and stumbled onto AKP recaps. A few weeks later, I discovered Dramabeans and so on and so forth. I haven't looked back since.

Today, the first thing I do when I wake up (after I've decided not to sleep some more) is check DB and AKP. I'm not watching any Chinese dramas or j-doramas right now but that's mostly because nothing has caught my fancy lately. And the ones I do want to watch are stuck in post-production limbo (here's looking at you China and your weird broadcasting rules).

When I'm not watching TV shows or movies, I read A LOT of books and mangas. I'm a completist so I tend to read all the available books in a series at one go; even when they suck. As long as the writing is okay and none of the characters irk me, I'm good. I also love music and play them when I can't sleep. I'm particularly partial to classical music and instrumental songs at night. When I like a song/abum I will play that one song/album on loop forever...or until I finally get tired of it.

That's about it. Oh, I like rom-coms. And really pretty boys. I'm shallow that way.

p.s. Just so you know, my harem includes, in no special order: Lee Min-ho, Kim Soo-hyun, Tom Welling, Thor (To me, Chris Hemsworth will always be Thor), Jason Momoa, Song Jae-rim and Chris Evans.

Occasionally Gong Yoo, Oguri Shun, and Edward Scissorhands-era Johnny Depp also come to play in my harem but they come and go. I'm open to sharing any of the guys except for Tom Welling and Jason Momoa. They are MINE. Never mind that they're married in RL. T^T I'm still not sharing them.

p.p.s. I'm fully heterosexual but if Megan Fox or Miranda Kerr were to seduce me, I'd...probably be seduced. My little sister agrees with me on this.
