'Nine' is one of the drama that has the strongest story plot, ever. The main theme is time travel, and it is told in the most fascinating and neat way. The plot is quite complicated (yup, you'll need a little bit thinking) yet satisfying. Love story is not the main menu here (I need some time to be engaged to the couple), but it's there as a side dish to the main topic here: a journey to find happy life. The message is loud and clear: playing God has its own consequences, and so does our hero gets his. Good news is, if you move forward and live your life every day to your best, you'll grow into a good and brave person. Just believe what you want to believe, and love the person you love anyway. Keep it simple is the best. I can relate to the messages, really.

This drama keeps me guessing till the very last minute and I must say that I'm quite satisfied with the ending except one thing (but I cannot say it out loud b/c it's a spoiler LOL but it's related to older / younger version of our hero).

Anyway, I'm a fan of Lee Jin-wook since 'I Need Romance 2012', so two thumbs up! All the casts are pretty decent, except the one who plays Choi Jin-cheol a.k.a The Bad Chairman. In later episodes I found his expression is more comical, makes me cannot take him seriously, although he's a seriously bad villain, duh (pun intended). And a special shout out for Park Hyung-sik, who plays as our young hero. I believe he has a great future as an idol-actor!

The background music is not very special. But it doesn't get in the way either.
As for re-watch value, I'd love to watch 'Nine' again, in order to get a better perspective from overall story, as I already get the basic understanding of the plot.

Overall, I totally recommend this drama for anyone who love sci-fi dramas, with in-depth philosophical perspective and complicated twist. Well done, Nine!

I watched this drama simply because the story plot intrigues me, and also I wanna see Lee Hongki's acting. If your reason is as same as #1, you won't be disappointed. But if your reason is #2, well... just don't expect too much :(

This drama story plot is quite neat, since every 'problems' presented here come to a conclusion in the end. Even my recent favorite drama, You Who Came From The Stars, has so many loops and holes in its plot.

What I really like about this drama is how complex every characters are. Everyone has their own motives / point of views, so not everything is pure black or white, something I value the most in k-dramaland because it always makes things more interesting. However, one of the most substantial flaw in this drama is lack of chemistry between the main characters! I get easily bored when watching this drama I don't even know why :( Too bad because I'm really enjoying the story, but it took me so long to finally finish it!

Overall, if you're looking for a drama with good story plot with a little bit of ghost story, this drama might be suitable for you. But please be noted, this drama might bored you (or not) a little, from middle to the end. The good thing is, everyone has their conclusion in the end, so it's quite worth the patience. Sadly, this drama does not leave 'strong' impression that makes me want to rewatch again in the future.

I watched this drama simply because I saw the trailer and it seemed so promising. Solving legal cases with super power ability sounds interesting and new in kdramaland.
Also Yoon Sang Hyun (he acted in Secret Garden as Oska) and Lee Jong Suk (his acting in School 2013 gained lots of praise) as the main casts, yum.

And yes, the trailer didn't disappoint me at all. The first episode was so strong and left a very deep impact. I know I must watch this drama, as it got me hooked right away, plus it's another masterpiece by Dream High's screenwriter. (I love Dream High!)

This is a courtroom legal drama, mixed with romantic comedy, seasoned with fantasy "super hero" theme and his full-of-hatred-and-revenge villain. It might be too much for some people, but complicated is my thing (^^,)
Expect some thrills along the way, but it blends very well with the comical elements, so no need to worry about "heavy and tense" atmosphere at all.

First scene opens in Park Soo Ha's school, so one can think it's another usual high school drama. But as we ride throughout the journey, the story starts to unfold.
I love how it rolls seamlessly from present to past, describing the main casts' history/relationship and their current states/jobs/lives.
Beautifully woven story, nicely executed. And I promise it will be as enjoyable as it is, until the final episode.
One of the strongest and satisfying finale in kdramaland nowadays.

Also, I find it impossible not to falling in love with the main characters.
Either for the heroine Jang Hye Sung, a thick-face, comical, sharp-tongued lawyer.
Or Park Soo Ha himself, our hero with super power ability (he can hear other people's thoughts) who grew up without parents, but he made a sincere promise to protect the woman he love as a child (awwww... sweet puppy love T.T).
Or Cha Kwan Woo, a former detective who turns into lawyer because he has noble idealistic point of view.
Or even Min Joon Gook (Jung Woong In, acted in Queen Seon Duk as MiSaeng), our ruthless villain and his possible history that turned him into his current "beast" state.

All of the characters have realistic traits/flaws, it feels like they're "real" people. The actors and actresses did very great job in expressing them. Their acting levels are superb, and the chemistry are sooo great as well. Smartly written and casted!

What I love about this drama is, it delivers earnest messages about sincere love and trust, also how to be honest and brave and stick on to what you believe. It gives me warm and fuzzy feelings inside, without being too overly preachy. The nuna - dongsaeng love relationship (as well as the classic triangle love) is also cute, without being too corny or delusional. Something I can relate to in my personal life.

The musics are also great, really suit the drama mood. I'm currently listening to the OST while writing this. One of my favorite is by Jung Yeob (of Brown Eyed Soul) - Why Did You Just Came Now.

Nevertheless, this drama is not THAT perfect. Sometimes it feels too draggy in some episodes, especially after the extensions were announced. There is also one boring theme that goes over and over again, but it's all worth the wait because the ending is nearly perfect.
And I don't understand why almost in every case on this show seem to revolve around the same lawyers, prosecutors and judges LOL

Overall, I can say this is a pretty great watch and fully entertaining. IT IS THAT GOOD.
As for the re-watch value, all detective and legal dramas aren't fun to re-watch, are they?
But I have my personal favorite scenes and I might watch again later in the future :)

The Heirs is far too overrated (underline overrated). This is a drama without drama, or even worse, can I say, without villains.

Welcome to the world of chaebols (super ultra mega rich people), which most of us here aren't part of. The main story plot is a typical love story between the heir of the biggest business empire in South Korea (hence, the title) and his housemaid's daughter. Sounds promising? Sorry to tell you that the screenwriter failed to do so.

Besides the back and forth relationship and break ups, I don't see any story development at all. I still don't understand what's the point of running away from each other (or your parents) so many times, but in the end you'll still do what's expected from you anyway. I thought they'd want to relay message about 'you need to sacrifice something, in order to gain something' kind of feeling, but no. It feels like 'you can do anything you want and still get everything anyway because I pity you' kind of vibe, wth?

The story itself reach to a conclusion only because it has to. At the last four episodes, suddenly all the problems are solved (almost magically) and leave us wondering why and how. All the bad guys (if there any) turn into better people, but gives us no clue about their character development or inner conflicts. That's too bad, since this drama has lots of characters, hence so many possible side story plots, but none are satisfying. Well, maybe except Kim Tan's mother and Eun Sang's mother (LOL my favorite). I wish they would give Kim Won or Choi Young Do bigger portions of the cake.

Well, I survive only because of Lee Min Ho. This drama is a waste of the actors / actresses' talents. Besides famous names such as Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin and Choi Dong Hyuk, I wanna give special appreciation to Krystal. Her acting is so fresh. I wanna see her in more future projects. Oh, and also my favorite is Kim Mi Kyung (as Eun Sang's mute mother), her supporting role is always fun to watch.

Overall, if you wanna watch this drama, don't expect too much. I like the witty dialogue, even if I cannot relate to most of it. This drama is like a friendly reminder of how reckless your life / love when you were / are 18. But it fails to give us hints of how our life can be different / better. Still.. I'm glad that everyone has their (happy) endings.

A cliche romantic comedy drama with main plot about contract marriage. Not the strongest or most original story plot in k-dramaland, but surprisingly I enjoyed this show a lot :)

Main substances of this drama is of course a cute chemistry between Lee Bum Soo and Yoon Ah! Despite their age differences, those two really nailed it <3 Also you can expect a lot of heartwarming family scenes, it got me quite teary-eyed along the watch :) This drama reminds me of 'The Sound of Music', minus the music, and I don't mean the soundtrack is bad either.

The shortcoming is, the story plot only focus on the romantic part (hence, a pure rom-com drama, which I don't really like btw). If only they could add more plot to Kwon Yul's job, that would be more interesting (or maybe boring). And also, I loathe the ending! You ruin it, show! It doesn't give me satisfaction at all :(

Overall, if you are looking for a hilariously funny drama, with a lot of fuzzy heartwarming scenes, this drama is definitely for you! Not strong enough to be classic, but some of the scenes are quite memorable :)
