Writer and directors clearly don't know anything about game development

I don't often write reviews but I feel like this drama annoyed me enough to do so. As someone who works in the gaming industry, I love media that portrays video games and/or the industry. However, here is where my biggest issue comes into play.
None of the plot makes any sense if you know even the littlest bit about the industry.

First of all, them wanting to make an "AAA game": AAA refers to the size of the company working on it and the (usually big) budget that goes into them. That's all there is to it. If they had been working for that enemy company, they could have been working on an AAA title considering it sounds like an international level company throughout the story - it would depend on the budget they'd get. But throughout the whole story, they did not work on an AAA title but act like they do. Why do people write about things they have no idea about, or don't at least do a quick google search....

My next issue is that I think that I'm over this type of male lead. The guy had pretty much no redeeming qualities to him. He was disinterested and often nasty to most people. Even after finding out that he messed up and turned down the girl he likes, his behaviour doesn't make up for the hours of mean behaviour. The female lead feels like a doormat and just let the dude walk all over her feelings and his behaviour was never addressed at all. Maybe I'm getting too old but I'm so tired of shows glorifying toxic characters.
