Great Chemistry
I had so much fun watching this! It grabbed my attention right from episode one and had a very smooth pace throughout. Esther Yu and Ding Yuxi have good chemistry and a sort of magnetic stage presence that makes you only want to pay attention to them, they’re very expressive and emote well. Miaomiao was so cute and Ziqi was awesome, I going to miss them so much! I found this funny and cute and I never wanted it to end. I also refuse to be disappointed by the end. I loved all the side characters too (Cuicui!) the angst didn’t last long (only a couple episodes, yes!) and Ziqi softened so much from how he was in the beginning. Also loved the costumes, and Miaomiao’s hair, they were top notch! Their group dynamic was also great, they bounced well off of one another.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Cute, but I wouldn’t watch it again
I put this on my list in October after I watched My Unicorn Girl (both the male leads have face blindness) but when I went to watch it, I found out that it wasn’t even out yet! It’s adapted from a jdrama (Rich Man, Poor Woman) which also looks pretty cute, there’s also a Korean version with Suho from EXO. The succession drama part wasn’t my thing, but the main leads were so cute and funny. Although whenever the blanked out faces popped up onscreen it freaked me out a little. The male lead was a little immature for my tastes, but he did have a little development and was sweet with her.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
I love dystopias!
I absolutely loved this! It was pretty short, 6 episodes, but I think if it was longer it would’ve dragged. I was smiling almost the whole time, it was really funny but also knew how to be emotional. Dystopian is one of my favourite genres, so this was right up my alley. The couples were super cute and I really liked Son and Day’s childhood friends who reunited as lovers. The way they look at each other! With the cliffhanger the drama really could have a second season. I know Thailand is known for its BL dramas, but I like how this also didn’t seem scared to have openly queer main characters.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

What a Rollercoaster
I loved this so much! L’s character was super cute and loveable. He was an angel whose mission was to help her fall in love, as punishment for saving her. It was grumpy-sunshine (he was sunshine she was grumpy) which is a trope that I love. And it was funny, heartwarming and heart wrenching. I cried most of the last episode tbh (and not just a tear or two running down my cheek, I’m pretty sure I sobbed a couple times). I just wish I got to see them being happy for longer at the end. The soundtrack was pretty great too!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
good character development
It was about a newly famous pop star and his assistant who went through a roller coaster of problems until their happy ending. I really liked this, and everything was wrapped up nicely at the end. Although I really liked Boxu, his sister, Zhenzhen and Grandpa Gu, I couldn’t have cared less about the other characters, especially the CEO and Zirui. But the main couple was super cute (although it took forever for them to get together - slow burn slowly killed me) and I think they had pretty good chemistry. Their bickering was also entertaining and how you could definitely tell that there was so much character growth between the beginning and end of the drama. I also really liked the songs.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
An amazing family/political/historical drama!
This is my first historical drama! I liked how it mostly focused on the women and all their behind the scenes schemes. How the queen outsmarted all of them every time was absolutely amazing! She was the definition of a mama bear, the sons were super loyal (even though they drove her up the wall), and she gained many people’s loyalty through non-blackmailing means. There was never a boring moment, one plot led immediately to another without a break, but I’m glad there were 30mins of healing happiness at the end. The little romance of Seongnam and Cheong-Ha was super cute and Muan and Cho-Wol and their daughter was also adorable. I honestly think Muan was the queen’s biggest headache and it was hilarious to watch.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

So Flirty!
Such a beautiful love story! I just love dramas set in this era, (this was set in 1947/48 but I like anything set in the 1900s) the outfits always look so classy, and hers were especially so. I just loved Anong, she was so confident and full of life and she went for what she wanted with no hesitation (rare in a fl). I liked that they seemed like total opposites but they were both big family people who stood by what they believed in. I loved Prasit, he was their biggest shipper and and absolute sweetheart. Nid was adorable and Boi was super funny. I know that his mother had been through a lot, but she was insufferable. At least she redeemed herself by making amends and being less controlling in the last episode. I loved how at the beginning she easily confused and flustered Wichai then when they actually got together I felt like I was intruding on something. They were such a strong, supportive and sweet couple (who communicated and grew throughout their relationship)! And omg, the tension and chemistry in the smallest gestures was amazing! They didn’t even have to touch for me to see it. His mannerisms were also relatable and you could see there was a lot of thought put behind the characters. Love this so much that I never wanted it to end! I also really liked the little sayings at the end of each episode, they kinda summarized the episode in a couple words.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
