The secret of the talking deer!

After a couple minutes of "something that happened long time ago" and a bit of political discussion about earthquakes, we meet the main character, Takanobu, who considers himself to be a very unlucky man. Flashbacks prove his thoughts to be fairly likely, whilst immediately following events prove it to be undoubtedly right. After the introduction (in which he is labeled as "mentally unstable"), Takanobu sets off to Nara, which I have found to be an entertaining place with all the dears filmed roaming about(super cute). In Nara, where he is going to be teaching, you meet the other teachers (well chosen actors for the roles) and soon Miss Hatta(one of the students) is introduced too. This girl has an air of a secret about her, and some cheek that is of course adding some spice to the otherwise slow, but comfortable paced episode (I have to admit I have never seen Tabe Mikako acting so well before).

The story is witty and far from shallow (which I like). I also had an unexpected good laugh once(thanks to Ayase Haruka's character and acting) and several smiles on my face.

The twist, and unfolding mystery towards the end was good, and now I am eager to learn more about the characters and see how Takanobu will cope with the sudden turn of things.

Avoid this story if you don't like talking animals. Despite the "eased" pace I though this one wasn't boring at all. I certainly hope it won't be boring after this either.
