1st - How could they kill Teacher? That was so so sad. It's like Jung Hoo's lost his father once more and this time he's lost his teacher forever. (And after his speech in the last episode to Moon Sik, where he told him that he would protect baby bears Jung Hoo and Young Shin TT____TT)
2nd - Jung Hoo was so miserable after Teacher died and he made Young Shin sad because it made her think she did something wrong (which she didn't - she actually deserves a medal for being as awesome as she is).
3rd - Teacher's testimony. That was so heartbreakingly (is that even a word?) beautiful. I have no words for it.
But I really absolutely loved that we got to know Ahjumma a little bit better. We got to learn about her background and about what (probably) made her the way she is now. And I was so happy when she went to meet Young Shin to tell her how to go to Jung Hoo's place. It showed how much she actually cares for him (and when she looked into Young Shin's eyes to make sure that she is worth it)!
I also loved the conversation between Moon Ho and Min Jae, where she told him that he's timid and scared and that he only fights to the point where can't get hurt. Which is probably the most accurate thing to say about Moon Ho. But I think he will soon cross this line to achieve the things that need to be achieved. Therefore I am really looking forward to his character development.
Last but not least, I loved the kiss at the end because it was initiated by Young Shin, although Jung Hoo was kind of really rude (for a person who didn't eat nor drink and sleep 3 days straight he was too strong, lol) to her. But even though she was hurt, she kind of still understood why he acted the way he did and showed him that it's ok to be himself. No matter who that might be.
Really, I loved this episode!

Hello Monster Episode 14

This episode was as intense and suspenseful as all the episodes before and that is just awesome. I really am in love with this drama and the writers actually have to mess up big time so that this drama doesn't make it to my top 10 dramas. Moreover I think I can add one more OTP to my list, because Ji An and Hyeon are a very great pairing that I absolutely love and cherish. Their chemistry is great (and oh, I never liked chemistry as much as I'm enjoying it here) and I absolutely love that they communicate with each other and that they work well as a team (and alone!). For exemple when Hyeon talked her out of killing LJY or really just anytime they talk to each other (verbal or non-verbal).
The only thing that makes me anxious is Min. I kow that he was never "normal". Even as a child he did some really creepy things (have you seen those drawings? Or him killing the animals? Or him blaming Hyeon for everything he's done?) and I think that he really needed psychological help at that time. Or at least someone to teach him what is right and what is wrong, because he himself didn't seem to know and his father's ways weren't necessarily the best.
And with LJY "adopting" him and raising him it is no wonder that he became a killer (although I'm still in denial. I have a feeling that there's more to this) and that he has this screwed way of thinking (I mean he thought that Hyun Ji Soo (Hyeon's adoptive mother) deserved a crueler way to die) and that for him some really messed up things are normal. But that is no wonder, when you see LJY's way of thinking. I do believe that he really cares for Min. Hell, I also believe that he cares for Hyeon and that he wants them to be a family. The family that he never had. Even though the things he does are atrocious for normal people like us, in his messed up head they all make sense and he truly believes that he's doing the right thing. The same as when he sent Ji An her birthday present. At first I believed he was trying to pay her back for provoking him, but he actually wanted to give her joy. And did you see how disappointed and sad he was when he found out that Ji An wasn't as happy as he thought she would be? That's crazy but he doesn't get it. And I honestly don't believe he ever will. LJY is a goner and I wonder, if Min is also beyond saving or if there is still a possibility for him to attone and to see that everything he believed was right turned out to be terribly wrong.
It's really sad that we only have two more episodes to go. I will miss this drama a lot.

This drama was so awesome and it won me over in every aspect. I really can't describe how much I loved it and how much I enjoyed myself while watching it. The characters, the OST, the story. Everything was great. The only thing that I needed in this last episode was a talk between Myung Hee and Young Shin was a mother/daughter talk (a long long talk) after Myung Hee meeting her daughter officially for the first time. But I guess the meeting itself was bittersweet enough.
Sigh. Now excuse me, I'll be right back crying in the corner.

Even though I love and somehow miss the fluff in this drama, I can't deny that this was one of the best episodes that I have watched. It hurt me on so many levels that I can't even describe how devastated I was after watching it.
This drama is lovely and loveable in every way possible. The actors are topnotch and the music is simply brilliant. It amplifies the angst and everything you're feeling and just accentuate the scenes perfectly (still waiting for Ailee's song to be released because of obvious reasons).
This episode was so sad but the ending somehow gave me hope that maybe things could get better and I am very curious and impatient to see what's going to await our lovely GunYoung couple further on because it kind of feels like I am starting a new drama altogether (after all 3 years are an awfully long time - who knows what happened meanwhile). Can't wait to see what's yet to come!

I can't really say what I prefered. The scenes with the King or the scenes with Sungnyang. Both were really quite good. I like Batolu's daughter somehow although she's the enmy but it is so good to see another woman beside Sungnyang who is really cool.
Also this whole story with the Empress and Sungnyang is making me very anxious.
Aaaah, before I forget. Is it just me who is curious what will happen with Sungnyang/Dang Ki Se in the future? I really am interested in how much he actually desires her.

Generally speaking this episode made me very emotional. And with emotional I mean there were tears pouring down my face mercilessly.
It was really heartbreaking to see Tan hurting so much. I like him a lot and I want him to be happy with the person he loves. And it was rather sad that there had to be this scene where Eun Sang told him that he's just bothering her and that she wants him to leave. Although we all know that she doesn't really mean it, I didn't like it. Tan, please don't destroy yourself. I don't want you to continue being the Zombie you were in this episode. I couldn't bear it.
But at least Won is now apparently on his side. It was the first time that he admitted that Tan was fighting for him and that he's a very strong person.
Omo, I love these guys so much.
ps: Am I the only one shipping Hyo Shin and Rachel?

I am so angry right now! Yeo Jin is a psycho that definitely needs a therapy and Seung hyun needs to grow up! As for the father .. I think it's too late for him to change. He didn't understand when he married his wife that you can't buy people with money and he still doesn't understand. People are no toys, old man!
Kudos to Jeong Woo that he knows what he wants and that he doesn't change his opinion just because of money and the thought that he will have a hard time because he'll have to start from scratch.
What I am worrying about right now is how Ae Ra will behave in the last 2 episodes. I bet she's going to do something altruistic and very very stupid. Although I hope that she will not and that she will fight belongside Jeong Woo and fight for him.
Jeong Woo and Ae Ra, fighting!

The relationship between Ma Tae and Hong Yoo Ra is very interesting and I wonder what will happen in the future.
To be honest I found the last few minutes the best of this whole episode. With the appearance of this new guy things will be (at least I think so) really cool and absorbing.
What's also worth mentioning is Bo Tong. She is so strange but I like her so much, haha. For me she is the epitome of a stalker-hardcore-fangirl. So funny to watch and she is so adorable!

Things that I enjoyed in this episode were that Soo Bong is on Yeon Joo's side and that he's believing her. I also loved So Hee in this episode, even though she worked against Yeon Joo, because in her book it was the right thing to do. She is a 2D character and her personality is fixed. It can't be changed the way Chul's personality can be changed, because she lacks the awareness that he possesses. That's why it would have been wrong if she acted any other way than she did. Everything else would be not true to her character and the way she was written.
Another thing that I liked is that Chul is now in the real world and I guess he's now out there seeking for revenge. He wants revenge for his messed up life and the murder of his family. It's somehow like a self-fulfilling prophecy: The thing that writer Oh was most afraid of - being killed by Chul - might come true now. This would never have happened, if he wasn't afraid of something that might've never happened. I actually still am wondering why he felt so threatened by Chul. Is it because Chul seemed to develop a consciousness and an awareness outside of what he wrote him to be? Or did he feel guilty that he killed Chul's parents for no apparent reason? Does he feel like a murderer? Is he afraid of the consequences of his deeds? I wonder what it is and I can't find out what motivated him to act the way he did.
Chul got a lot of his questions answered. Now it's our turn to get enlightened a little bit more and I'm so excited for the answers that we'll get! I hope we won't be disappointed.

Even though there were some "funny" scenes a t the beginning, the whole episode wasn't that funny, to be honest. It was kind of gloomy but it still felt kind of hopeful. But I knew that this was just the quiet before the storm. I KNEW it.
The thing that was especially surprising and more hurtful for me was the fact that we actually knew the kids who died. Those people had their own stories and we knew them and that made it even more awful.
I also didn't expect the husband to die. Even though he was a spineless idiot most of the time he actually had a conscience. He did wrong things but he knew that he wasn't right. And even though I didn't like him much, he grew on me in this episode when he proved that he's a momma's boy but that he wasn't willing to give up on Kang Ja. That was actually pretty cute. Also I wanted him to divorce her and not to die. But at least he died doing something good.
I know there are still 2 more episodes to come, but I honestly felt as if the drama is over after the accident. I think, that this drama will probably have a happy ending, but I don't know if it will feel like one because things are not happy anymore. The sadness is all over the place. But let's wait and see.
