SPOLIERS!!! I first heard about Chuang 2020 through Twitter, specifically tweets about Zhong FeiFei (a literal queen). I didn't realize that Tao, Victoria, and LuHan were all mentors on the show! The first episode was 4 and a half hours long, airing in two parts on two different days. The way the mentors decided to judge was perfect. When I found out the Nene from Thailand and Chen ZhuoXuan were also on the show, I got excited. Chen ZhuoXuan's performance of WuJi from The Untamed (which she acted in!!!) was So Good. The team performance were interesting as some of the "teams" consisted of only one member, like Yao Hui (who served). Many of the trainees cried and Tao kind of snapped on them. He looked so mad, but I do understand his point of view for it. I'm really excited to see how this show progresses and who ends up in the final seven. Yes, seven. (It used to be eleven spot)
SPOILERS!!! In this episode, we are able to see the three side couples progress, especially Mek and Boss. Mek actually confessed after Boss came back drunk after his audition at his girlfriend's company, who told him that it would be best for him to stop talking with her. Mek showed him the "shrine" (whatever you would call it). I was so suprised when Boss came out and said he felt the same and wished Mek told him sooner. Besides them, Frong and Thara end on good terms after Frong got upset with him last episode. Thara showed his kind side to Frong's mom as she is at the hospital with a tumor in her abdominal area. It was revealed that Thara's father lost the battle to cancer as they found it too late. I hope we can see more of Frong and Thara in the ending episodes. Ram and King have to be my favorite side couple (maybe even my favorite couple) in this show, so I was excited to see what was going to happen with them in this episode. My heart broke when Ram started crying at King's house he revealed that his father was having an affair with his best friend. I literally started crying. King was obviously shocked at the fact he was crying but still comforted him. It was very cute but sad. Ram also ran from home as he didn't want to see his father, whom he ran into while leaving. He took his three dogs with him, where he met King as it was raining (this lead to King allowing Ram to stay at his house even with the dogs). For the main couple, Bohn finally gets Duen to stay at his house. Before Duen gets a call about Ram being "missing", Bohn asks him to move in. Once returning from the "search", Duen told him to wait a year. I'm excited to see how the rest of the series goes.
SPOLIERS!! This episode was so full of emotions. I was never expecting Sarawat's first love to return (I have never read the novel so this is all new to me). You can see the emotion when Tine sees Sarawat and Pam hugging. I started crying so hard when he ran out and cried. I'm excited to see how the finale is. I hope it is long and gives us the closer with Phukong and Mil as well as the endng with Type and Man, as that was a mess in this episode. When Type's P' started "teasing" Man at Type's farewell party for his ending at the intership, you can obviously tell that Man was hurt and Type was uncomfortable, whether it's from the teasing or the responses Man was saying. But when you saw Type choose to ride with his P' over riding with Man, you can see his heart break. From the teaser for the finale, we see some "action" from all three couples. I hope we see a happy ending for all of them.
