Cute but no substance

This was cute, but I'm a little bothered by the lack of phyiscal intimacy in all these BL stories. They acted like a kiss was a Huge Deal. This is a 20-something couple, both of which are hot guys with great bodies. They should be having sex three times a day.It just seemed one-sided , as if Kao was in the relationship as a boyfriend, but Pete was just a friend who barely tolerated Kao. Anyway, I watched it for New, who I think is one of the hostest, cutest, most charming BL actors anywhere. At least it had a story, and investigated how natural it is for people who love each other to bicker. Although it was spelled out unnecessarily by a very strange and very long voiceover by a female narrator.

Filler Ep

The problem that's starting to develop in this series is that there a no stakes, and so no tension. The conflict with Wai was built up to an amazing intensity - Ep 5 was one the best episodes of any BL ever made. But then that conflict was resolved so easily that is was confusing. And if Wai and all the friends can immediately accept them, then the pattern leads us to believe the parents shouldn't be that different. If Pran's mother's life was ruined and she was living alone in poverty, then what Pat's father did might be a deal-killer as far as Pat & Pran's relationship goes. But what happened was decades ago and she has a wonderful life, so her hostility is selfish and irrelevant as far as the boys' relationship goes, and if they're happy, she should accept it, and they should expect her to.The conversation with Junior's mother was supposed to be a pertinent parallel, but it isn't at all. Junior is a child. Pat and Pran are adults, and specifically adults who are at the age where they are deciding their futures. It has nothing to do with a parent deciding what's best for a small child. Plus, Junior's mother doesn't want her son stuck in a fishing village. Pat & Pran are both destined for professional careers in Bangkok, living near their parents, so there is absolutely nothing in common with these situations.Ohm and Nanon have wonderful chemistry, but it isn't progressing - it's the same as has been from the beginning. It's still reserved and comes off as close friends who are mildly flirty. It was perfect for the first half of the series, but needs to go somewhere. They had sex, but there was no buildup to it. I didn't need to see them doing it, but it wasn't given any importance.I was bored this ep, and ended up putting it on 2x to get through some of it.But I will say that the lack of seme & uke is so refreshing and downright revolutionary that this ep does deserve its place in the history books, and I hope the success of this series inspires more writers to abandon this limiting model and give us more of this - two guys in love, rather than a manly man and a frail boy dropped into the role of a 12-year old consumptive Victorian virgin.

Very Cute and Natural, but stupid plot

These two have great chemistry and their relationship felt real - except for the jealously (AGAIN over a woman. Can gay boys ever be jealous over other guys, like normal people? What kind of person assumes his partner - after 3 years - secretly has a different sexual orientation?) I'm really getting tired of the ridiculous jealously/miscommunication storylines. It would have been cute if Tee was jealous over a cute boy, but this was stupid, and he came off as a psycho dick.Anyway, Frank is cute, and Drake is pure sex - so hot and sweetly loving. If the plot weren't so ridiculous I would have given this a 9 - not a 10 because this is a fluff piece - I like them, but to be memorable there needs to be more substance.

Disappointing

Our Skyy has been great, with satisfying continuations of relationships we love - but this is an unfortunate exception. The resolution in the My Dear Loser was already bloodless - not even a kiss - and disappointing, and this episode has a start which doesn't match the series - at the end of MDL they got together, but here we're three years later and In & Sun are not together, and In has been dating women, apparently with Sun's help, which makes no sense. Here, In pursues Sun, who is pretending to be with someone else to make In jealous and manipulate him. It works, and In commits to Sun. Without kissing him. Or even a hug. This is lame. It's like a gay guy emotionally blackmailing a straight guy into being with him, even though there's a total lack of sexual attraction. Immensely unsatisfying and weird.I'd skip this - it will just make you angry. I will say that the acting is excellent, and Pluem is just gorgeous.
