Not as bad as you think
Honestly this series came out at the wrong time. It aired around the time of Kinn Porsche and it was definitely no match for that and it's gotten slammed... unfairly I think. After the first couple of episodes and the awkward BDSM scene I got pulled further in to the story and became addicted as well as invested in Kamol and Kim's story. Kim acted like a brat for a little too long but that was a minor annoyance. It was hard at times to see why Kamol was so enchanted by him when he acted like a brat most of the time. There had to be something more than the rough play but it was hard to see what. The story moved at a good pace, not really lagging anywhere but there were a couple of superfluous characters that didn't seem necessary to the story (Baiboon, the man who kept pestering Kim for lunch at his office and quite honestly the two office ladies. One in office friend would have been enough I think).
As far as the physical setting goes it was so much better than other series I've watched. I've seen a lot of Thai BL and the same two or three houses are used over and over again for upscale settings and it was nice to see a different house used for the main setting. And wardrobe- decent, above average wardrobe for the entire cast especially Kamol and Cherry. Kamol wore a lot of nice, flattering clothes and Cherry's outfits were stunning. Very fitting for the mafia setting.
I went into this with the lowest possible expectations based on reviews and was pleasantly surprised. I'm sure I'll watch this again, probably skip over a couple of scenes, and like it just as much as the first time around.
