I am based in Malaysia and enjoy travelling. I have visited Busan, Seoul, Chengdu, Xi'an, Taipei, Kaohsiung and Hong Kong but not yet Japan. That profile photo is me cycling at Xi'an City Wall.

I am always curious about tv & film but only started watching Korean, Japanese and Chinese dramas rigorously during the pandemic. Since joining MyDramaList in June 2024, I try to write reviews of the Asian dramas that I have watched. I also enjoy music so occasionally I make pop culture reference in my reviews.

Tropes I love (including but not limited to these points below):

• Older woman, younger man romance 
• Smart FL 
• Gender role reversal 
• Couples who have each other's backs 
• Marriage of convenience

Tropes I hate:

• Childish / immature / silly FL
• Damsel in distress
• Lack of communication that lead to assumptions and miscomunnication
• Toxic family members (common in vertical shot & mini dramas)
• Bad romance e.g. abusive relationship

Tropes I wish to see more:

• People with disability
• Fun-loving/outgoing FL in older woman, younger man romance (most noona/jiejie romance dramas have serious, cold FL)
• Sports romance 
• Working FL wealthier & more successful than ML (FL not just heiress being idle)
