From The Biggest Manhwa Fan...
When I first heard that my favorite Korean manhwa of all time was getting a Japanese live adaptation, I was both thrilled and anxious. The manhwa detailing Korea's severe school bullying, that takes place in 2009-2014, is now set in Japan and in 2018. That was a brave choice to make, yet I think—as of the first episode—that it works.
It's too early to tell much, but I really enjoyed the first episode. Many details were slightly altered to fit the Japanese setting more, but I think they were done well. I am excited to see what more this show will offer, and what changes they will make. So far the only main difference I have seen is the choice to make the letter the first thing we are met with instead of the line about perpetrators, victims, and bystanders that they included in the end of the first episode.
