I feel a lot of people are being very harsh towards the series. It wasn't what we imagined but it wasn't that bad also to get anything below 4.I will be honest this series did disappoint me as someone who waited 3 years but also read the novel (might I say just 15 chapters of the novel as Lazysheep then went on a break and said she would update only when the series was released. I waited 3 years for the series and 2 years for the novel and now both of them are complete). What won me about Win-Team was the pure relationship depicted in the book. Yes, their relationship started from a 1-night stand but after that Win rarely tries to sleep with Team unlike what is shown in the series. They don't become friends with benefits instead Win starts to take care of Team in the beginning because he feels guilty but later on because he starts caring and then falling for Team. The same goes for Team, torn between achieving his dream and his trauma. He finds peace in being with Win. Their bond is so precious in the book. The dialogues they share and the moments they have. Everything really precious.
That's the only reason why I wouldn't say I liked the plot of the series, so many precious moments and dialogues mismatched just because they needed a plot that could last for 12 episodes. I'd rather shorten the number of episodes and have them follow the novel.
Especially the pool scene and what happens after. It's a turning point in the novel. But it was very underwhelming in the series ... I'd prefer the short clip the studio released in between as a small trailer.
All in all, if you don't really know Win-Team I think you will like this series, I enjoyed it but only because of the actors. I'm being harsh but I really wouldn't be able to watch this series till the end if it wasn't for the cast. I believe both Boun-Prem as well as Win-Team deserved better. Weirdly I didn't think I would get sad when the series ended but I did, as this wasn't just a series for many of us. It was an era and it has finally come to an end.

The Eight Sense really is such a masterpiece, especially in the genre of slice of life / Drama genre.I love how beautifully they actually portrayed a character with depression and trauma. As someone who has both of them, I love how they showed his struggles in his day-to-day interactions, rather than just showcasing him as a pill-popping sad character but they showed this depth to his character.
Even Ji Hyun I love the fact that he actually tries to understand the struggles Jaewon has and decides to let Jaewon take tiny steps towards him. I also love how Jae Won wasn't shown as an asshole for ignoring Ji Hyun after the incident like in other dramas instead he focuses on himself, works over his trauma, and doesn't use the stupid tricks shown in other dramas of going the extra mile to get the other lead to leave him alone.
I also love every side character yeah! Taehyung and Eun Ji do get on my nerves but EP 10... god! EP 10 just helped with their character development...and Aeri, YoonWoo, and JoonPyo ..some of the best side characters who actually help the main leads rather than create doubts.
Over and all it's such a beautiful watch...another plotline that proves for a good bl drama you don't need NC scenes but emotional intimacy even in this series, yes, the scenes were hot but what you can feel is the emotions of the characters rather than just hot makeout session ...
