definitely overrated
This story really is so unsatisfactoryI'll make this review super short.
firstly it didn't feel like any genre at all,it felt like a thing of it's own
secondly the storyline was going haywire and not properly executed, take the prince that likes to dress as a girl for example... what exactly were they trying to illustrate
thirdly as per the title I thought the queen would do more as a character but it's really not like that... another thing, I don't get people's mentality, I support what physician kwon did for revenge, I might have killed both the current king and his mother if I was in his shoes, assuming that the physician was the main lead, like the story revolves around him, he would have been appluaded for his revenge even if he killed the entire family, he would have been seen as a cold and unfeeling person who of course would eventually find love
To sum it up, the story wasn't really clear and it's not something I would ever think of rewatching

potential lost and totally overrated
This is going to be shortto start with, what kind of bombastic and annoying drama is this!! yes it had an originally good storyline but what happened?
poor execution and prolonged story, to let people know in case they think I'm being bias,I know not a single actor or actress in this dramas so consider this me being honest.
they should have wrapped this up at S1 cos S2 is just like looking in a mirror with utterly frustrating inconsistencies, the almighty naksu completely became powerless and the ML now became so powerful,I thought this drama would be more focused on soul shifting plus the horrible sidelines and the incomplete stories.
to wrap it up,the story with so much potential became completely unsatisfactory, and it has a 9 out of 10 rating!!! what!! without playing favorite this is over the rooftop overrated

this drama was unfair to everyone
For the first time in my history of watching drama I do not regret the tragic ending of this drama or whatever ending u might call it .kdrama writers would literally do anything so that the FL would love and only end up with the ML even if it means turning a completely good person into a villain to achieve that, this can be seen in the case of the 8th prince, wook and hae Soo , in case people would say I'm bias, I'll let u know that except from IU, I do not know any other person in this drama,
The drama just messed up, Soo loved wook up until episode 10 out of a total of 20 episodes and all of a sudden due to some poorly executed reason she fell out of love and then loved the 4th prince, how do they expect us as the viewers to take that, why can't writers be creative and different for once.
if you are a person that watches drama, u would have known write from the 1st episode that it's the mysterious and cold person that the FL would fall for at the end, but the writers decided to go in circles before that
let's not forget how she has relationship with each of the princes, poor 14th prince why did she have to marry him in the 1st place, that's rubbish, also there seems to be some left out stories that could have prevented the unnecessary sidelines to prolong the drama.for me there was no true justification for most of the 4th prince action like threatening Soo to kill the person she initially loved or his hysterical act after becoming king and etc
I would also say that this drama was unfair to every character and also the unnecessary killing and plothole, who didn't die here apart from the main characters?
I would have actually preferred the FL to end up with the 8th prince even with his uncompleted love story
To sum it up I really can't ever think of watching this drama again not because of the ending but because of the storyline
