Okay, I'm hooked! The opening scene seriously grabbed my attention, and I was dying to see what happened next. I went in blindly, not knowing what to expect. It had me on the edge of my seat and didn't disappoint me. I have no idea how I missed this series before.

Ye Guang is an absolute sweetheart. He's popular and comes from a privileged family, but he's nothing like the arrogant clichés you usually see. And Qi Zhang? Genius student by day, but a singer by night? Awesome! Every time the OST played, or Qi Zhang started singing, I couldn't help but smile.

It's overflowing with cuteness and fluffy moments, and I found myself smiling constantly throughout. The added angst made it not boring for me at all.

Hooked from the start

I had been looking for a series with this specific trope for a while, so I dived in without looking up any reviews or spoilers and I fell in love with it.

From the very first episode, I was captivated. The music was so catchy along with the storyline. Needless to say, I've rewatched this series multiple times. I particularly liked how the main characters provided strength and support for each other.

Also, despite the language barrier, the second couple managed to build a successful relationship. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Thai actor in a Taiwanese series, which added an interesting dynamic.
