I was anticipating this drama for a long time before it came out and was so excited when I was finally able to watch it but by the time I finished I was rather disappointed. First of all the storyline followed the anime allot which I was unhappy about because of how abrupt the anime ending was and it seemed like the storyline skipped from one extreme to the next (including the anime). I was very satisfied, however, with how closely related the characters were to the Anime/Manga characters and setting wise. The drama captured all the comedy perfectly and I laughed out loud more then a few times. Usually when a manga/anime is made into a drama they lose sight of what makes the series so special but this series has no problem with that what so ever. Yamamoto Yusuke was the perfect Tamaki and I enjoyed his acting the most in the whole series. There is really a star cast and thats what makes this drama great. The actors were casted perfectly and all did great justice to the manga/anime characters. However, I feel that the main actress could have done a better Haruhi, her performance was lacking something that I didn't feel from the actual character. I definitely recommend this drama to all Ouran High fans and non-fans alike.
