I watched many Thai dramas in 2018, but in my opinion this was one of THE best. If you are looking for a mystery drama that revolves around family relationships then this is the drama for you.

I initially watched this without subs because the synopsis had peaked my interest and frankly I just didn't want to wait. Even without the subs, I was enticed fully from beginning to end. I found myself binge-watching about 6 episodes in the space of a few hours. This family drama was everything I never knew I needed in life. The story was not exactly anything new, I mean betrayal and lies are pretty much main themes in every thing these days, but there was just so much more to this story. I felt for the characters and found myself putting myself in their shoes. The whole Thai-Chinese tradition is intense if you ask me. You would need to watch to see what I mean. When I watched the drama with subs finally, everything was obviously put into more perspective, but the second time I was even more shocked at the many twists in the story.

My only negative is that there were some scenes centred around one of the characters that I really felt were not needed. At one point, I was just like 'why was that even a part of the story'. I came to the conclusion as the story unfolded, that it might have just been how the writer wanted for things to be unveiled. And in all honesty despite my ill feelings, it was actually a pretty crucial aspect.

Acting: the cast overall were fantastic. The older cast especially. I am a big fan of Thanapob Lee (Yi) and was not surprised at how good he was. He proved he has mad acting skills with this role. Of course, JJ Kritsanapoom (Pete), James Teeradon (Vegas) and Captain Chonlathorn (Earn) did great too. The newer faces (may recognise from Thai group 9by9) were fine in their respective roles. You could tell it was their first time acting but otherwise their flaws (e.g. facial expressions) weren't extremely noticeable. What I loved was the portrayal of the many different types of relationships between the younger cast in the drama. The actors and actresses really nailed those parts.

Music: the music was definitely appropriate for the mood of the drama. The choice of the various orchestral scores was a good one. Every time one particular one came on, I was on the edge of my seat.

Re-watch value: 10/10. Heck yeah I would re-watch this, even without subs might I add.

Overall, In Family we Trust is worth the watch. I am really glad I discovered it. Not only is it a roller-coaster ride of emotions, endless surprises await you.

I was intrigued by the drama title when I first came across this and I'm glad my curiosity got the better of me. This year has been super difficult, but watching this drama every week really helped lift my mood. It was just so sweet.

I loved the family and work dynamic, and the acting was great. Felt very natural. There is not a single character to be disliked. I'm glad the cast was selected for this series, especially the actress who plays Hinako san.

Prepare your tissues if you're one to get emotional as there are some tough issues covered.

But, overall, time well spent. Totally worth checking out.

Note: although, my rating for the music and rewatch value are much lower compared to the scores for story and acting, my personal overall score for Neechan no Koibito would still be 10. It's just that good.

This was an amazing watch! I can't express enough how good the acting was by our two main leads, Park Sung Woong and Jung Jinyoung. Honestly, no one else could have done those roles justice. As a bana I'm super proud of Jinyoung. The supporting characters played by Ra Mi Ran and Lee Soo Min were just as great.

I really appreciate the appropriate balance between the comedy and the more serious parts of the story. I laughed so much which is always a plus.

Overall, great movie that will not only tug at the heartstrings but will also make you smile.

I didn't really have many expectations, as I have seen pilot/cabin crew themed dramas before, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. Considering it was a special, the pacing was quite fast, thus there was no time for character development or exploration, but I don't think that took away from the story at all.

The acting by each male lead was good enough. Nagase Ren is doing a pretty decent job, and his character was likeable. Kitamura Takumi was okay here, I feel I have seen better roles from him, but he delivered all the same. The supporting cast was great too, especially Micchan and Reiko. I really appreciated their roles. The female lead (Kuroshima Yuina) who I remember from The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, I felt like she was able to show a slightly different side to her, but I don't know if her performance was memorable enough.

Overall, I enjoyed the little moments between the male leads, the sentimental aspects, and the overall 'persevering' vibe the story gave me. It's a decent watch.

Dear Patient- Kizuna no Karute was very much unassuming to me when I first started it, but it certainly picks up from the end of episode 1, and I really enjoyed the progression from this point onwards (I would encourage watching the drama in one go).

Each episode is interesting and some even touch on thought-provoking topics, if you'd like. I appreciated that there was some connection between characters and stories too, and I think the suspense was incorporated well. The slight chilling undertone was also a good touch.

As a huge Jisoo and Jinyoung fan, I was definitely ready for this drama. I know how amazing both our male leads are, so my expectations were high, and thankfully they were met. I was hooked from the first episode and literally stayed in bed all day to finish the drama in one go.

The relationship between Tae Oh (Jisoo) and Song Yi (Jeong Chae Yeon) was really cute. They individually portrayed their respective roles brilliantly too. Jisoo's smile is enough to make me giddy. I love this man with a passion, and he makes everything worthwhile to watch. I didn't know what to expect from Jung Chae Yeon, I was just hoping she wouldn't disappoint, and she didn't. I would be happy to check her out in something else after that performance.

The relationship between Song Yi and Do Hyeon (Jinyoung) was just as great as the two besties mentioned above. They had great chemistry and I was once again impressed with Jinyoung and Chae Yeon. Jinyoung especially pulled off the various emotions very well, might I add. I really wanted Do Hyeon and Song Yi to get together quicker though. I kept wondering if they were ever actually going to get together. Am I the only one who felt that?

Choi Hoon (Kang Tae Oh) and Oh Ga Rin (Choi Ri) were super cute too, whether together or with the others of the friend group.

I genuinely despised the female that Tae Oh (Jisoo) falls for. I hate that this typical annoying and evil role was given to someone. I must give credits to the actress, because she does a great job of making me hater her.

Overall, I really enjoyed this. I am looking forward to season 2. Directors better not keep us waiting too long after that ending.

I want to make it clear firstly that although this drama is listed as teacher-student, woman-younger man under the tags, this is really not THAT kind of drama. Haji Koi is rather about a cram school teacher helping her student get into the University of Tokyo. Yes, that student happens to fall for her, but it never feels wrong to me, like with other student-teacher dramas/movies. I really appreciated how relatable Haji Koi was, as a student myself. But, while the drama is very 'studying' focused, there is a lovely bit of romance (somewhat questionable at times but sweet all the same) too between the main actress (Fukada Kyoko) and 3 suitors, if you'd like.

The cast are all great in their own ways, especially Adachi Yumi (Miwa) and Nagayama Kento (Masashi). Adachi Yumi really surprised me because I'm quite used to seeing her portray really sad or angry roles, but lately, her more peppy and positive sides are so fun to see. Nagayama Kento is really handsome and his character is funny too. Though you may be surprised to find Masashi is Junko's cousin (the whole time I watched I wanted to believe that was a lie). Fukada Kyoko (Harumi Junko), on the other hand isn't the most versatile actress in my opinion. She seems to act the same as she does in other dramas I have seen her in. But hey, at least she is super cute in this, and to be honest I don't really imagine anyone else pulling off Junko. The last thing I watched Yokohama Ryusei in was Nijiiro Days, and he is tons better here in my opinion. I love his character Yuri Kyohei (Yuri Yuri) a lot. He is an amazing person and Yokohama Ryusei delivered 110%. The side characters were fun and did add a little bit more depth to the story too.

There isn't much to say about the music because to be fair there isn't much of it. However, the ending theme Happy Birthday by Back Number is amazing and I couldn't help but hum along to it every time.

So anyway to conclude, don't be deceived by the tags, Haji Koi is an inspirational and light-hearted rom-com drama about a teacher and her student working hard on a common goal. There are many moments it tugged at the heart strings but overall it didn't fail to put a smile on my face.

So far this is a really cute watch. I kept seeing this on the Drama Nice homepage and clicked on it because I was curious. To my surprise Inaba Yu was one of the cast members (and I have the biggest crush on him) so I naturally kept watching. It's actually not bad. It's a rom-com about 3 ''common'' young women who get to spend some time with celeb princes after competing with tons of other women. It's pretty obvious how the story will pan out from about episode 2 but I guess that can't be helped considering each episode is 15 minutes.

I remember the female lead from the movie Honey, and just like in Honey she is a pleasure to watch in Onzoshi Boys. I really love Inaba Yu's role here as Teru (not just because I like him) so much so that if I hated this drama, he would genuinely be my only reason for watching. Luckily, all the characters keep me intrigued somehow. Also, Isamura Hayato who plays Riku starred with Inaba Yu in Waiting for Spring, so if you liked their bromance in that, you will probably like this one.

Overall, if you find yourself with nothing to do, why not check out Onzoshi Boys.
