Jerry and Shen Yue tackled the final jujube scene so naturally - all the complexity of that moment executed so well by both. Subtle and natural- superb performances.Hope to see more of Jerry and Shen Yue pairings in the future. Great chemistry.

I am watching in 2021- a year late- I am surprised Jerry and Shen Yue did not win any acting award for this show. Such splendid performances by both, especially Jerry. He tackled so many complex emotional scenes naturally. subtle and with so much depth.

PTSD

We now see Dr Gu's kindness and warmth beneath his cold exterior. We are also given a glimpse of his PTSD as a result of a surgical accident. His portrayal of his emotional state during PTSD was convincing.

Sweet, funny

How they met is memorable. Both the ML and the FL has good chemistry. ML is a stoic, no nonsense doctor, earnest in his work. XZ gave an excellent portrayal of this doctor. YZ is this clumsy, cute girl, played just right. This drama is worth the wait.
