Not as strong as I expected it to be
Its prequel, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, left a strong impression on me as a casual rom-com enjoyer. As soon as a sequel was announced, I highly anticipated the drama since I believed they could give me another well-fine quality production. Which, they perfectly delivered during the first few episodes but the show lacked creative progress to the main storyline during the middle portion of its airing period.Their comedy entertained me at some point but not by the rest of its elements. I can’t feel any romance lingering in my emotions towards the main couple. Byeon Woo Seok saves the whole show from falling apart. His character is very devilish but his appearance leads me to set aside his evil nature and focus on his fine-acting execution. The supporting characters are doing good but aren’t that capable of catching my whole attention.
I feel like the production will push through another sequel of the strong girl storylines but I wish that they give more time to flourish the script with a right balance of fantasy and reality. Nam Soon feels bland as the show's protagonist and I wanted someone who can deliver the story as what Do Bong Soon does in the prequel. I can’t help but to compare the two shows. Although, I still salute the sequel for a fine job of continuing to nourish the well-loved prequel drama.

Unconvincing story with too many flaws
The trailer itself doesn’t really hooked me and I don’t have high expectation within it but since I’m running out of BLs drama to watch, I eventually decided to watch this. And yeah, it’s another cliché and over written romantic drama that almost looks like a fantasy one which doesn’t suit the flow of the story. I must say it is a boring story but thankfully Phuwin’s character saves the show. Pi deserves to be the main character here; I like him being the cutest one in the show.I do have few reason why I give this a low rating namely;
• Meen being a bland character. I already watched a lot of stories regarding a calm, intelligent and innocent looking guy and I’m really tired of it.
• Zero sparks from the side couple (Duen & Meen). I really enjoyed Neo’s outgoing personality role but the moment he and Louis shared a scene together, it was sooooooo boring.
• The failed comedic attempts. During the first few episodes, the show has so many (possibly) comedy scenes but I don’t even find myself laughing or smiling from it.
• Took me few more episodes to get used with the transition of framing every time the side couple story will be shown.
• They didn’t justify the invasion of privacy presented in the show. The way they handle it doesn’t really satisfy me.
• Mork losing his patience the moment Pi confessed his feelings towards him. Pi is a sensitive person specially he hates getting attention from the public and yet Mork is so eager to tell the world that Pi is the man of his life now but he doesn’t seem to realized that it is really hard for Pi.
• GMMTV ruins Bam. She is one of my favorite character here and yet they decided to give some plot to the story by making Bam the villain of the main characters’ love story. Why do Thai BL mostly used girls to be the antagonist when the BL couple are in the center of their love story.
But aside from my dislikes I do also have my likes specially Pi and Mork's chemistry and yes it was a good pairing.

It does exist, a teenager’s love story that is sweet, healthy, and mature.
History made as My School President tops my list of the most loveable Thai BL series ever. Since the pilot episode, the drama consistently gave me the satisfaction and entertainment that I wanted. Complete package show; high-quality production, turning cliche into pleasure, god-tier collection of OSTs, powerful line up of cast, superb and genuine acting performances, best of the best rom-com moments, etc. This show is an absolute masterpiece that sets the bar too high for others to beat. A tremendously enjoyable school-based BL.The basis of the story wins me. A top student who secretly admires his musical genius classmate. Tinn’s efforts to help Gun in every way possible are highly commendable. Sometimes, viewers crave this kind of story, something that can bring back their own youthful experiences from the past.
Tinn is the kind of man that I also wanted to date with. A perfect boyfriend material; handsome, intelligent, funny, fluffy, dependable, and kind. Having our own apple in the eye is relatable. We can’t help but fantasize about scenarios we always wanted to do together, feel too nervous when we unexpectedly had some contact with them, and feels dazzled when we lend a hand whether it may be a big or small help. Tinn always sends motivation to Gun on pursuing his dream of becoming a singer, a perfect example of what sincere love can do to a person.
Intelligent people like Tinn always have the cheesy-romantic way of imagining various situations, his daddy jokes, as well as those pick-up lines. Some of these notable scenes are the solving of math equations into a heart-shaped figure, turning the practical dance class into a graceful date, the eraser with a heart and a gun drawn, the viral NARAK- “Why are you so Sodium - Radium - Potassium?”, the rock n roll sign which means I love you, the shower scene imagination, and the “My heart has 3 states; solid, liquid, and solidly yours” We got you there, Mr. President!
I guess everyone will agree that it is hard not to fall with Gun, he is such a cutie! I understand why Tinn is so whipped to him. Those appealing smiles and those bizarre abs and muscles hiding in such an angel-looking face. The thing that I love about Gun is he is as selfless as Tinn. “You have your own dream, I have mine. Tomorrow, we’re doing our best.” I love these lines when Tinn supposedly can’t join the live audience for Chinzhilla’s first Hot Wave live battle. They are still in high school but I am proud to say that they already know how to have a healthy relationship between them.
The attack on Gun’s emotional plots is too sad. The rejection from his first audition -it is hard that even after giving your best, it is still not enough to make you win. The death of his father -brings to tears the fact that he can’t celebrate his first full score in singing class because of the accident that happened to his number one inspiration in music, his dad. I even feel more emotional when Tinn cried too when listening to Gun’s story. It is a comforting moment when someone is willing to be your ear and also feel the pain from your stories. The health condition of Gun’s mother -is another depressing plot since it just came unexpectedly during peak training time of Gun. His mother is a super Mom! The mother-and-son relationship between the two is so fascinating and warm. This is also the time when we notice how scary Gun is when he is angry. Tinn’s hiding the health condition of Gun’s mom is understandable. As usual, the two tend to fix their conflicts as early as possible when Gun’s mom finally told to his son all of the things that Tinn has done to him so far.
This show has the power to transform me into a worm since I can’t resist but move too excessively from the undying chemistry of the couples, with included screams and applause. Gemini and Fourth easily manage to sway me with how lovely and fantastic they are, both on-screen and off-cam. I still can’t believe that rookie actors like them can act more than actors with years of experience in the industry. Their eyes can speak the specific emotions that their character is holding on to, they can deliver emotions with the use of their facial expressions alone. Those stares, smiles, exchange of lines, and gestures; all of these are purely natural. They acquired the quality of having both soft and hot allure. That little intimate touch is so powerful -holding each other’s pinky fingers that sparks the idea that they both like each other.
Here comes one of the best confessions I’ve seen from a drama. Them laying on the floor beside the school’s pool and talking about the person they like are just delightful. When the line has been crossed, our boys aren’t lost anymore. The testing of each other water after the confession may take too long but I feel too good about their slow yet satisfying relationship progress. Tinn naming Gun “Chinzhilla baby” on his phone contact is charming.
The music club rule of not dating anyone not unless after winning the Hot Wave was indeed too childish. But as the story goes by, it is important for them to focus on the competition and luckily, even after failing to secure the championship title, the rule has been unjustifiable. But during the music video shoot of “Just Friends,” one of my favorite episodes, I am loving the tension from the heartbreaking distance they needed to do in order to maintain the club rule. They keep adding the word “friend” and it was funny. They encountered conflict but the most important thing is they resolved it early with healthy conversations of their pure interest and reconciliation. Gunn’s precious gift to Tinn is so modern and awesome. He collected snap photos of the President, uploaded them to Google Drive, and generated a QR code.
In a romantic story, it always adds fun and excitement when the other person is in a jealous mood. Gun getting jelly was just the cutest, and Tinn will do his best to not make his boyfriend fiercer. The “Oh Romeo, you son of a bitch! Why are you such a jerk? I’m freaking disappointed” will always live in my mind rent-free. The beach scenes were refreshingly enchanted. The wet looks of my boys are too sexy. The smooching of the drink as the show’s advertisement is such a genius marketing idea. They enhance the cuteness of my babies.
Their ‘itchy’ first kiss on their first date makes me insane. These boys really know how to make my heart jumps with happiness. The Prom night was indeed a mesmerizing event. TinnGun is now free from dating in secret. The cheer of the crowd when the two started to own the stage was such a heartwarming thing to see. The hug at the end is indeed, very comfortable.
It is important to give our shipping king Tiwson his own review. His everlasting efforts of helping Tinn in all possible way of winning Gun has always been loveable. Tiw’s aura is so powerful. His smiles can heal the world. I am so happy that Mark is getting the recognition that he definitely deserved. TiwPor is the ship that I’m always thirsty for more. The theory of them dating in secret even before TinnGun is great. Yet, it wasn’t the real deal. “I want to eat you,” Tiw was really ready for making his first move to Por. The foodie lowkey dates are super cozy. My heart was taken away in just a single selfie at the end. I am hoping that GMMTV will make a sequel that shows more of TiwPor's story. They are perfect for each other; Ford is so cute and Mark is so handsome.
The dog-and-cat relationship of SoundWin was worthy of attention. That motorcycle back rides when Win finds out that Sound injured himself, the rap of war contest, and the medal kiss during their MV shoot was too cute to handle. Tiw’s shipping power works when the two starts to bloom a feeling for each other. It all started with the rain, the shared umbrella, the back hug, and the blush. They blow me with their chick chemistry. Win slurping Sound’s lips like it were ice cream during the finale was a chef kiss.
Pat is so damn NARAK! He is the only one who doesn’t pair with anybody so I want to volunteer as his partner. He feels so single and that is so funny. His candid smiles and silly expressions made me fall in love with him. If season 2 is possible, give this man his own pair.
These babies know how to portray their roles perfectly. Their acting during the clash on the mounting hike for redeeming their wishes was phenomenal. The intensity of everyone’s emotion that has been released through frustration after losing the contest was flawlessly done. I am grateful that everyone in Chinzhilla has been accepted to their chosen path of careers. We have a politician, pharmacist, actor, sound engineer, lawyer, and singer. They may have different paths but I know that their friendship will remain forever.
It is great to see that despite Tinn’s Mom being overly protective of him, she doesn’t apply too much strictness whenever his son requests something out of ordinary. They are close but not too close, as in what a normal parent-and-child relationship is. The amount of healthy relationships in this drama is just as pure as the world should be. “If this world is cruel to our son, we should be his peace of mind when he comes home.” This is a heartwarming message from a parent who chooses to love his son no matter what.
The wardrobe that they let the characters wear as their outfits aside from school uniform are classy and stylist. It was aesthetically pleasing and fits the beauty of the show.
All hail to the collection of original soundtracks and covers from My School President. All of the songs are loveable, mesmerizing, grooving, addictive, and speak supremacy. The cover songs they sang like they were the original singers. The best thing about this show was every song is connected to the storyline.
You’ve Got Ma Back - the pioneer opening song that started it all.
Yak Rong Dang Dang (I Want to Scream Loud) - grooving beat and syncopation.
Saliva - catchy and hype song that will make you dance.
City - relaxing song that comforts my whole existence.
Come Closer - magical and affectionate song of romance between two individuals.
Just Being Friendly - ultimate favorite; the emotions, the lyrics, the beat, and the song as a whole is so authentic. The music video of the cast is superb!
Fung - the song that made me cried the most. Motherly love and support are wholesome
Smile Please - the song with cute trendy dance challenge choreography.
No One Else Like Me - a confession song
Hook - ultimate favorite as well. “Love, Love, I Need Somebody to Love!” an absolute LSS.
Let Me Tell You - a song that motivates us to keep on trying, a motivational song.
Healing - calms down your inner peace and soothingly heals your soul.
Rock & Star - the beat! It was so damn expensive. GunTinn owns this song!
Once Upon a Time - we were once high school students who enjoys the life of being young to the fullest.
It is undoubtedly that My School President wins in every element of a show. The songs are too great, no song is getting left behind. The fact that each soundtrack and covers are part of Tinn and Gun’s love story is so great. The impact it has created on me is too high, best Thai BL ever!
I am grateful to witness such a masterpiece of unveiling stories that inspire, entertain, and captivate the audience. Tinn and Gun have already been engraved in my heart forever.
It’s hard not to cry when the drama has come to its finale episode. I have no other option but to say goodbye to my comfort show. It’s been months of extreme joy and fun witnessing the high school life of the Chinzhilla gang and the student council members. This show helps me a lot when it comes to relieving stress. Everything about this drama is god-tier. Thank you, My School President for everything you’ve done for us. I feel so blessed to see that someone out there is enjoying the youthful days of their life, by choosing to be themselves.
I live for a beautiful ending. The kiss, the hug, and the exchange of I love you. They summon the top three magical acts of romance and it perfectly flows toward us. I love Tinn and Gun so much that they deserve all of the kindness in this world.
I’m crying because of how beautiful this drama is. I am not overreacting, My School President is simply the best. I will be going to miss everything about this show. Super grateful for everyone who’s been part of Tinn and Gun’s amazing journey. This is not the end, there’s still more to come for Gemini, Fourth, and the whole cast for their future projects.
I’m too attached to the drama that it is making me hard to bid my farewell. This review almost took me 12 hours to finish. I love you all so much and rooting for your future endeavors!

From great to moderate
A blast. Ever since the first trailer came out, this show has always been one of my most anticipated ones. Gladly, they didn’t disappoint and showcase a high-quality production that deserves the attention they keep on getting. It has a mixture of both Western and Asian action pack genres which is somewhat different from the other BL shows. The show is heated with utmost nudity and intimacy. The great thing is that the concept is still intact despite the erotic sceneries they give to the viewers. Since some BLs only add these for the fanservice outcome. A big round of applause for the actors in KinnPorsche who dared to agree and undergo a full-body skin exposure, a well-appreciated act.Spoilers on social media affect the enjoyment of watching the next episodes. It reduces the level of shock and unexpected plot twists. It’s a detesting norm when supporting characters die for the sake of the main ones. It was really funny when Tawan wasted the bare minimum seconds of the chance of firing the bullet before Big made a move to use his body as a shield to guard Porsche. I used to love the main couple but after this, I began to hate their development. Particularly, when Kin forgot Pete, who risked his life to help the couple. I just can’t help but get annoyed seeing Kinn and Porsche being happy while Pete is being tortured and slaved by Vegas.
Vegas and Pete save the show. Their storyline gets more interesting and I feel like Pete can fall under a psychological response called Stockholm Syndrome, an emotional retort in a captive situation when he begins to grow feelings with Vegas. I am literally in awe during the two’s bed scene. The set-up, the swift-smooth actions, the arousing facial expressions, and the blaring stares. It’s amazing that they perfectly nailed it!
Casting Apo as Porsche is a great decision. He is a total package; handsome, charismatic, and a man with everlasting sex appeal. Even though he somehow lacks the right amount of emotions needed, especially in some dramatic scenes, he can still manage to pull the whole scene. Mile has the look of exquisite manliness and has a personality that gets deeper the moment you keep staring at him. He really did a great job handling Kinn especially, every time he had some intimate stuff to portray. Pete, the cute ray of sunshine of the group who unfortunately began to shrink these joyful vibes with him, the moment he was captured by Vegas. Build is such a good actor, his duality is impressive. Bible is the perfect man to be cast as Vegas. He is overflowing with sexiness and every time he speaks in English, it gets triple.
The flamboyant Tankul is one of my favorite characters here. He offers the highest share of comedy that is extremely entertaining and hilariously great. I am sad that Ken and Big both bid their farewell earlier than in the last episode. The two of them showcase goodness in their roles and I love the firm yet soft look they had as bodyguards. Arm captures my whole attention by his rocky abs, superman hairstyle, nerdy eyeglasses, and the strip dance he plays when he is drunk. Kimm’s mysterious appeal is loveable, he is also one of my best characters in the show. However, Porchay was timid and hard to love maybe because of his uneasy acting.
The OSTs are top-tier ones too. The peak of both action and romance alongside the background OSTs is authentically cool.
The last big fight between the major and minor family during the finale has too many loopholes and mediocre directing. It is obvious that the extras are just letting the main characters beat them while letting go of the opportunities to kill them. Most of them are just standing and waiting for their time to take an act, a failure to make the scene more realistic. Also, the plot, in the end, is draggy. Too many questions left unanswered, it may be good if it was a hint for season 2 but it was too short for an ending.
Anyways, I really love this show during the first half but get bored after. It is still good compared to the other shows but needs more cleansing of scenes. Kudos to everyone behind the success of KinnPorsche and for arranging the whole story in a good shape.

To my KSJ & HJW, thank you for a star-studded journey on fulfilling their own universe in life
An unforgettable drama that established the undying chemistry and notable performance/character of Son Woo Hyun as Kang Seo Jun and Kim Kang Min as Han Ji Woo. The first season was definitely a great one but this season performed in a more serious plot that brings a certain amount of devastating warmth but is absolutely amazing.I personally enjoyed this season given the angst and conflict between them. The sudden one-sided break-up initiated by Han Ji Woo as the center of the story does really create a huge impact on the audience. There is no doubt that Kang Seo Joon’s feeling is as sincere as sunlight. Even being ghosted for a year, especially on his birthday, our boy keeps on trying to save their relationships the moment he already finds out HJW's location. His efforts of traveling to a long place, helping the restaurant business by gathering customers, and spending his busy schedule just to keep on pushing HJW. All of these prove how much love KSJ has for his boy. But when Seo Jun said this line, “Why is he so harsh to me?” I couldn’t help it anymore and tears began to fall. This is so heartbreaking! To witness a man who still has feelings lingering inside him with the questionable reason behind his ex-partner’s decision on leaving him alone. And each time KSJ mentioned the breakup, it is always in question. Real pain.
There came a point when I started to feel hate towards Ji Woo. Witnessing Seo Jun suffer is such an unbearable sight. But as the story progresses and explains that he had a tough time battling against himself alone. Han Ji Woo used to love his loneliness alone but the moment he met Seo Jun, he couldn't bear being alone anymore. Even HJW hated himself for his own attitude, unable to fully control it.
In each episode, I just badly want them to be together since it was tremendously painful to see. The take on HJW’s restaurant name “Ti Aspetto'' when translated, it means “I am waiting for you.” Also, the lyrics of the OSTs are truly related to the couple. In one episode, KSJ sang a song in a happy beat but with lyrics indirectly telling HJW’s ex-GF to leave his partner alone and that was so funny. Son Woo Hyun's singing voice is as alluring and fascinating as his speaking voice. The man showers in a pure variety of talents. Actually, I genuinely had a fun time with HJW's ex-partners bickering with each other on who knows HJW the best. The cleverness to connect all of these to the storyline is beyond great. But the most fulfilling part is when they finally connect their love story to the star and the universe during the finale.
The phenomenal kiss is the trademark of the show. Both S1 and S2 never fail to amaze me when it comes to intimate, emotional, and sensational kissing scenes. Along with the bonus of the captivating sounds, you can hear when they’re eating each other's lips. No other K-BL can beat these two.
If season 3 is possible, I will fully support it! I just love these dramas so much. The one and only episode where they finally got their happy ending is enough to satisfy me from the agonizing experience in the previous episodes. Such a remarkable and beautiful ending. I can now proudly say that To My Star is certainly one of the well-produced K-BLs as of now. The lovely cast, the fine distribution of scripts, and the top-tier chemistry along with their god-tier excellency in both visuals and acting. Thank you so much for bringing joy, tears, and smiles to my heart. Once again, I believed that true love exists just like how Kang Seo Jun and Han Ji Woo find their own universe on each other's side.

Supporting characters are the real stars
The wittiness of the title is the first thing that got my attention. It can be derived as ‘shooting’ or ‘shitting,’ both showcasing the real-life personality of the stars. It’s a great thing to highlight the people working from behind the scenes since they’re mostly the ones who work the hardest to help their stars to shine bright in the industry.A star-studded cast. When they released the artist who’ll be portraying the roles, I became even more engrossed. It's been a while since I saw some of my favorite actors and actresses in one show. All of the characters fill the whole story. There are no hateable roles and each of them has something interesting to offer. This is probably my favorite part of the drama, giving us a variety of supporting characters that can take over the main leads. The side characters are the real gem here.
Salute to Kang Yoo Sung for being the best manager who will do anything to help his artist to be successful. His willingness to sacrifice something under his control is amazingly done. Byun Jung Yeol on the other hand is the most hilarious manager in the story. The bond he made with Tae Sung was both comedic and firm. Reporter Ki Ppeum and her professional ethical values are the main reason why she stands out more than the others. It’s a pity that the Happy Virus Girl was only a guest character, she had the potential and her attitude entertained me.
Shooting Stars serve us with a cast of sizzling beautiful men. The kind of plot twist I craved is for the bromance to turn into boy love. From the two rookie actors Kang Shi Deok and Yoon Jae Hyun to the neighborhood romance of Mr. Do and Gong Tae Sung. I felt more butterflies from them than from the main couples. But I can’t also ignore the incredible chemistry built up by Jae Hyun and Yuna, they’re so lovely. Additionally, the funny way of Han Dae Soo on calling “Yuuuuu-Naaaaa” in the calm yet stressful intonation was consistently entertaining.
Focusing on the story, given the light vibes it gives us, I can’t help but feel extreme tiredness during the middle part of the show. The moment that the main couple finally became official, I mostly fast forward their scenes. It isn’t as loveable as it was before. Thankfully, the sham ahjumma who was a crazy rich antagonist and a maniac about making herself special saves the show. Her weirdness was really something that lit up my interest, it was a glimpse of a unique characterization of a villain. The death of Lee Yoon Woo brought tears to my eyes. The ending lacks closure between his brother and the previous manager/bar owner.
The thing I am most thankful about this show is from introducing me to Lee Seung Hyub. The moment his character Kang Shi Deok appeared, I fell in love. His sharp good-looking face, husky voice with a local accent, and the way he wore his tee when he was working in the gimbap restaurant were so fine and hot. Our underwear commercial model who steals the hearts of the netizens from his drunk cute habit, sexy muscles, and manly body. He is so adorable!
A joyful K-Drama that enlightens the public on how stressful the life of an employee working in the entertainment industry is. Yet, Oh Han Byul and the rest of Starforce agents prove that as long as you find joy in your workplace, you can continue working from it. Shooting Star is a fun and cute drama worthy to binge-watch.

Youthful bloom of romance with an artistic and cinematic production quality
This is one of those BL shows that being gay isn’t included as the form of drama to the story. Although, sexuality is still an important topic to be addressed in showcasing a same gender romance. Hwang Da Seul, the director of this series, says that “The BL genre may have a sensitive part, but rather than narrowing it down to a specific genre, it is a ‘love story’. It’s easier if you look at it broadly and define just that a man loves a man, because you can write the romance you want to write.” We can see in the show itself how she was able to deliver the storyline focusing on two people who met and fell in love, regarding their gender identity. The progression of Si Won’s story is an amazing portrayal of someone’s presence that may help you in facing your own insecurities. At first I thought he was a narcissist yet with the revelation of his background story, I understand that in order for him not to be looked down upon anymore, he needs to be flawless. Da Un’s introductory part was likable. Presenting such dubious treatments directly to Si Won which later on turned out to be a misinterpretation. The best thing about the couple is how they gave comfort to each other and were a foundation of support in their own dilemma in life. Those caressing strokes of Si Won’s hair is consoling to watch. Da Un’s deep voice and contagious smiles are sending me butterflies. I love their first kiss. Si Won aggressively kissed Da Un maybe because he lacks experience and the moment when Da Un interrupted him and told him to relax was so soothingly refreshing to see.
Excellent quality of production. This is such an artistic drama that emphasizes the power of filmmaking. Those details include a fascinating piece of art. The cinematic blue-silhouette bed scene that connects to the title ‘Blueming’ that also defines that the main couple finally colored each other's life. The consistent connection of the story to their college courses as students who majors in film and production. I can relate to them since I am also studying a course related to films. The pre-production process till the final outcome of Si Won’s short film ‘My Running Bike’ is so dramatically great. He was able to share his story by producing it into a film that also leads him to indirectly release his emotions that he keeps for so long. I love that it became the bridge for him and his mother to be connected without the hint of hiding a certain feeling behind them.
Si Yeong as the main character’s sister plays an important role to help his brother become freely peaceful in his past, by sending the autobiography he wrote when he was young. Si Yeong's lowkey efforts can also be seen in the girl she had a crush on. Another one of my favorite side characters from this show goes to the bestfriend of the year, the caring Do Ba Woo. He and his eyeglasses are a cute match. It shocked me to know that he is also one of the supporting cast from the teen drama ‘Love Revolution’ because his roles are significantly differ in terms of personality. I read a comment from somewhere that the guy who played a guitar at the beach was the person who Do Ba Woo refers to as the person he liked that is clueless about this. The guitar has a written initial of DBW. If a second season may happen, it is possible that the story may give us this explanation later on.
To be honest, they loose down during the ending. I didn’t particularly hate it but I was hoping for a more impactful ending. I am also curious about the thing Da Un whispered to Si Won when he realized that he likes to shoot people more than story now. My personal theory is something related to body profiles or underwear. Anyways, it's a good choice to drop all the episodes on a single day since each episode contains a cliffhangers ending that will later on explained in the next episode. It will be confusing, and waiting for days will test the patience of the viewers. The soundtracks were fantastic too and perfectly suits the melody of the story. Overall, I enjoyed this mini-series and I hope to see more in the future.

Has the potential but failed to execute a clean flow of story
The genre is not my cup of tea but the storyline seems to be interesting but still fails to execute it in a cleaner way. The first half of the show is excellent however the way they solved the cases are too good to be true and mostly overwritten ideas. The plot twist is either cliche or another norm that I’ve seen from many other related categories of problem-solving cases.Destinies and coincidences in dramas are weird. Both of the main character shares the same birthday who also linked them to the day of the bombing incident 20 years ago which also turned out that the person who surrendered himself was related to the other guy as one of the staff who took care at them in the orphanage.
I didn't even feel any kind of shock the moment they revealed that the sister/senior is alive. The same goes with the rest of the revelations such as the reason behind the bombing, dual side of each characters, keeping the main character alive despite the risky things they did, and many other things. I laughed at how idiot most villains in the drama are. They have the capacity to kill the protagonist but choose to play with their lives that bite them back sooner. The difference between killing without a sense of doubt a minor character compared to those who have a big role is far too distant. Also, the son of the Prime Minister is bad at acting; his laughs are cringe.
The feeling of being bored all throughout their operational scenes. I’m getting tired of the never-ending search for the mastermind of the incident from the past. The last few episodes are a major downfall. Too many loopholes, ordinary turn of events, and below average resolving of the problem. The ending is too bad. They’re too many issues not yet resolved or maybe they’re planning for a second season.
The biggest debate of the viewers is whether the show is a bromance or BL. To be honest, I came here expecting a BL but sadly they only give us a bromance. Every episode I am anticipating a shift to real romance but they wasted several chances of showcasing a perfect bloom to make the character face their real feelings to each other. Until I lost all my excitement and watched the show at 2x speed.
The extra-scenes on each epilogue are the only thing that I am somehow relieved to stay until the end. My favorite is the hilarious rock-paper-scissor game. I only conclude that Ichiro and Shiro are in the stage of realizing that they have feelings for each other yet no one will admit or initiate to talk about it first. They definitely acquired the chemistry of a couple and their little intimate scenes are enough to send me butterflies.
Thank goodness that the OST isn’t bad compared to the other elements of the show. The transitioning, editing, visual, and cinematography are great as well. Unfortunately, there’s too many errors that make it hard not to notice from the story itself which also puts the whole show in a disadvantage.

A Colorless Sequel
As a big fan of the first season, I anticipated this sequel the moment it was announced. Unfortunately, this season disappoints me to the point that I felt like they wasted a great opportunity to create a more distinct flow of story. Yoo Han has been kidnapped and this season focused on the MONOs desperation of wanting to see colors and undergo probe surgery, which was later on found out that it was an experimental procedure that resulted in the death of the MONOs who turn out to be the guinea pig without their knowledge. The victims of this test surgery include Se Hyun’s sister and Yeon Woo’s mother. The story is confusing. Still love the concept but the execution was poorly done and feels like they're the only one who understands what's going on in the story. A bland and plain season, just like how MONOs can’t see a color without their probes.
Some flaws I can’t help but to question in the show are:
- How can they determine the outstanding employee of the quarter? They based it from what?
- The power of the main protagonist. Two teenagers managed to stop an adult scam facility, and fought against plenty of men who are older than them. How can they beat them all? Unbelievable.
- The two side-characters. How can a student interrupt and force a broadcast of certain news on national TV? Wow, what a skillful technique.
- Background music has been abruptly cut a few times. Hey, can’t we listen to nice music with a good timing of when to end it?
- The unacceptable appearance of the deceased sister to Yeon Woo’s dream. Do they have nothing more realistic to think about? Probe and Mono are a good fantasy but to shift into something incompatible to the concept is insignificant.
- The idiot guy who was on the run for the crime he did but still chose to cut into a broadcasting event that led him to be arrested. Please, this scene was so funny! No more ideas? I can buy a classic scene but not this one.
- Lastly, the action scene was not suited for the main character. Hey, he is so cute throwing his punches like that. He fits the adorable role better than a student who is good at fighting.
To be honest, I supposedly gave this a much lower score but Kim Se Hyun was just so enchanting and appealing that I felt sad and decided to adjust my score a little higher. Hyuk was a good addition to the show. As Yeon Woo says to himself, Se Hyun is so cute and lovely. His pouty lips want me to see him kiss Yeon Woo so much hahaha but I’m still salty to witness a dream-kissing-scene without seeing their lips touch each other. Anyway, I also wanted that forehead kiss as a gift coming from Se Hyun hahaha.
Yeon Woo has two boys who love him now. One is his probe and the other one is a MONO just like him. Despite the disappointment I felt this season, I want to see another season with Yoo Han’s comeback. The ending gives us a hint already so it is possible to become a reality.
Good enough for a continuation but can be carried out more than good.

Captivating visual with fine acting delivery but needed more duration time
The first thing that really got everyone's attention is how good looking the leads are. I'm not complaining since Korea were known for emphasizing beauty as a standard for the camera appeal. But the good thing is, given the handsome faces they had, they know how to executed the emotions needed in every scene. Due to this, it already been a well love series by many. But the most important element of every film is the flow of the story. I guess for a 11 min duration with 8 episodes, they manage to connect every scenes in one fitting. But obviously they're some scenes that needed more time to be explained or tackled. How do their love for each other blossom? What was the exact background or past of the guy? Where do the relationship of the two extra guys headed to? (since the drama itself gives us some clue or interpretation of a possible romance between them.) How do the second lead cope up with the atmosphere, did he finally manage to move on? We need more closure to the ending. There are several cringe scenarios that I can't help but to giggle about. On the first episode the typical "I'm going to save you from falling, I'll catch you in my arms" was so typical. They should altered it with a fresh new ideas or something that will be either romantic or comedic. Another consecutives cringeness scene was the "hand sign photo capture," I knew Korea loves that kind of gestures but it was too childish for me. Speaking of childish, the fight scene between the two best friends was so immature. Okay, sometimes people tend to do things based on their emotions despite of how old they became.
I feel sad for the second lead, he's so cute but you can't really force someone to feel the same way as you especially when it comes to love.
I was shocked that he is so young, he's character was full of sex appeal and I'm thinking that he is much more older than his real age. On the other hand, I was happy that I get the chemistry of the main couple. Another soft-mysterious guy relationship. Aside from cooking, seeing the main guy in a Taekwando uniform is so sexy! The dishes was literally yummy, I mean the menu from their business. I like how they presented the meal in an IG worthy vibes, really presentable.
I was so into the music as well. A great one to add color to the show. It was so lovely and at the same time its pop my mood up, perfect song for the show.
The major fall back of the drama is the length of time they given to the story. I keep thinking of many possible things that might be added to the story. But anyways it was a good and cute mini-series. I am contended on how it is. Fluffy and majestic!

The DaouOffroad Effect
Am I too late? Yes.But is it worth it? Absolutely yes!
It got the hype it deserved. I’ve been adding this to my watchlist for so long and finally completed it today. The official trailer does not give justice to how beautiful this drama is. All the casts are new faces for me which makes it more memorable. They did not disappoint as everyone can act, with no cringe and underwhelming performances. It uplifts the overall impact to its highest level.
This show unexpectedly delivers a brilliant comedic approach to the story aside from the element of drama. I was laughing so hard during the interactions between the characters. They perfectly nailed it. Concept quality is above average too. My favorite is the transformation to a younger version from midnight until dawn. The child actor delivers the same personality as his older self; irritable but funny.
Offroad is the ace. I am astonished by how he conveys his role with ease. Daou is great too! He still looks so cute despite always being angry during the earlier episodes. Pond is the deity of handsomeness. I’m glad that they don’t turn him into an antagonist in his present life. Chu is an unforgettable character. She is pretty, cute, and the funniest among the crew. But when she cried, you’ll cry as well. The three-generation family is loveable, no doubt about that.
The charm from Daou and Offroad is so cute and I am always smiling whenever I see them in my social media feeds. It may not be the perfect drama for me but a high rating is worth it for how creative and entertaining this series is.

A downgrade sequel
Oh My! I was so excited when I heard that Marry My Dead Body was confirmed to have a sequel, but the outcome was a disappointment. I love Greg Hsu and the movie version but this is not enough to save the show from being a flop. For a bunch of police officers, they’re all lame and idiots, which was also mentioned by the killer of the story. I understand that all of these are for comedy purposes but they overused it so much that it became annoying.
I finished watching it all because Greg Hsu participated in this. The only time I got super happy was when he mentioned his deceased ghost husband on EP05 when he apologized for mocking gays during his statement with the psycho teacher. Nevertheless, I think that Marry My Dead Body wins my heart all because of the chemistry between the two main leads and not for the comedic parts, which were unrecognizable from this sequel.

They have the chance to slam dunk the ball but miss a lot of shots
It was a treat to see MeenPing play in a sports-romance drama. Yet, it is still inconsistent with several revelations happening one after another, to the point that it gets messy.Things I hated (Cons) :
- Cringe exchange of lines and overused fluffy scenes
- The gang and the guns. It ended so fast with no consequences or explanation that took place after the killing. Not to mention that it wasn’t a good choice of storyline to add to this kind of genre.
- Everything happened during the EPs when the coach was pushed to quit the team. Lacks creativity in exploring other better scenarios.
- Ping’s dramatic acting. He needs to attend more acting lessons.
- The pairing of every single character. At least one side couple is enough.
- The start and the ending.
Pros:
- The chemistry and the love triangle. The sole reason why I didn’t drop the show.
- The visuals.
- A few episodes from the middle part of the show.
That’s it. It was just merely average.

It is sweet that I need to see a dentist!
A love story between a dentist and a bar owner was a new thing for me to see. They managed to create a cute romance between numerous couples with winning chemistry. Although the reasoning behind the phobia of seeing a dentist from the main character’s perspective doesn’t conclude well, I still enjoyed it since this is where everything began. The main couple was great and deserves to be the star of the show but it also pains me to be left hanging with the minimum screentime from the side couples. RJ and Alex were cute but I feel like Big A and his admirer are worthier to be called as the next couple between the main. I easily swayed and fell in love with Big A and his adorable little bye-bye’s that are so soft and gentle.
All the characters are lovely and I enjoyed the entirety of the show. It was not super impactful but the important thing is how I see and remember them in general. I liked the settings and the absence of annoying villains from the story, it made the show even lighter to absorb. The lines from the script were too clever too.

A sex-oriented show that is deep yet light at the same time
The BL element brought me to this show and it was fun. I can always see the difference when it comes to adult series that were produced by Asians compared to the films from the West. As an Asian myself, I am connected with how they tackled stereotypes and the firm grasp of the traditional values of the majority, especially the old ones. Which, the drama presented it by having the featured family members have their own stories that rotate about love and desires.I have been a big fan of Kai Ko since his debut movie role in ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’ and he hasn’t lost his charm. His still courageous to take roles that allowed him to be fully naked in front of the camera. The friends-with-benefits turned lovers couple are just okay. Storywise, I’ve seen a lot of similar flow and plot of story from this couple. I was not entertained or felt excited when they began dating for real. I am also disappointed that they easily skipped the trauma of the youngest daughter who at a young age discovered that his father is an animal who left her in the car just to eat girls in a hostess club. I also hated her mother for lying and defending his lewd husband.
JC Lin once again slays! He fit his role in this show and I love that I get to see another cool story of a homosexual character. The BL couple was the ‘icing on the cake’ in this drama. It was unexpectedly cute and entertaining. The ending of their love story was pleasing. I love the fact that the gangster boss decided to surrender himself and improve to be a better version of himself the moment that he met the one. Their romance may be short but it was the most memorable one among the multiple couples in the story.
Jumping to the oldest sibling who emphasizes the importance of communication in a relationship. First, I applaud them for clearly and loudly speaking that it is okay not to bear a child of their own. The pressure of the parents is so real for most Asians and I liked that several individuals right now from different age gaps are taking this topic seriously. In the modern world, raising a child is so hard that varieties of traumas and difficulties await them. Each of us has our reasons and decisions about whether to have a child or not, and no one has the right to put us in the spotlight of self-doubt and tension. Another thing that I find cool about this couple is how they also discuss the significance of attending sessions for married couples.
This is a good show for a light yet educational rom-com in this modern period. The only thing I felt lacking was the absence of prolonging the specific topic and resolving it first before jumping to the next plot to be discussed. Nevertheless, the production was good enough to deliver a family story that is very open and transparent about what matters in a healthy relationship.
