Thien Likes Being in Control *SPOILERS*
I admit when beginning to watch this, it was a little boring. But I knew I would like it if I continued, which I did. I do like how persistent Muey was in trying to win Thien's heart, even if he didn't like her. The one thing I like about this lakorn is the hidden story plots, like how (SPOILER) Thien didn't know that Muey was the one who saved him when he drowned or when it was later shown that (SPOILER AGAIN) Thien has loved Muey the whole time, even before Muey with all of the parallel scenes. But I don't really believe that Thien has loved Muey for this whole time, ever since high school. The way he handled the situation of Muey being undercover and being left in the dark shows that he didn't like Muey being smarter than him. A woman like Muey, a ditz and a clutz in his eyes, is way more intelligent than he thought and can deceive a smart man like Thien. You can argue he was upset that Muey hid this from him because he trusted and loved her, but Thien reacted differently. He wants the control. Even with his friends, you can tell Thien is the leader of this group and that his friends will just follow. His coworkers didn't even like him because he was too controlling. Even though Thien did redeem himself Sawan Biang style, it proves that he wants to be in control, with the reason that he loves Muey. Such as when (SPOILER ONCE AGAIN) Thien begs for the doctor to not tell Muey of her condition and does what he thinks is best for Muey, but he should've just told her in the first place. But this is a lakorn. So when Thien redeemed himself I loved it hahaha.I tend to like Mark's lakorns where he acts like a jerk lmaoo. I really like his portrayal of Sathit in Kluen Cheewit. And in MHIL, Mark portrays Thien well, a very successful, handsome, and intelligent jerk. I found myself not liking Thien when watching this, so it proves that Mark can act. I also love his crying and angry scenes, as he does well in those departments. When I watched Mew's past lakorns, I feel like she's stiff or shows the same emotions. But I think Mew does well in light heart comedies. Portraying the playful and optimistic Muey was a great choice. Mew has improved greatly. Mark has great chemistry with any of his actresses and Mew is no different. I love their chemistry as it looked so effortless and it looked genuine.
I love this OST, especially the ending credit song and SIN's song. Overall, it's been hard to watch lakorns recently. These lakorns haven't caught my attention and it'd be like one or two that I like. But I really enjoyed this lakorn and I've had my share of laughs and tears. I almost dropped this lakorn but I'm happy I didn't.

I really did like the first half of this lakorn. But I think it got a little to cheesy, because it was for the fans and it was a little annoying. I would've rated the storyline an 8 or 8.5 but because of Sila and Min's cheesy relationship after episode 18, I made it a 7. It began dragging and I just remember fast forwarding. I also think they took too long in getting Sida to surrender. I really loved the beginning of the lakorn though, as I love a good slap-kiss and Sila's revenge. The one thing I'm upset that HJS 2019 didn't do is include Sila and Mee's playful relationship. I really enjoyed their very flirtatious but also platonic relationship.
Tor portrayed Sila well. The vengeful man who meticulously brought down a whole family without them knowing he was that scarred child they abused. Just him staring, you can feel his anger and resentment. Ferny is still getting there on acting, but I could tell she improved towards the end. Noon and Ann were also good choices as they portrayed strong badass women who protected their loved ones.
I love Yes'Sir Day's song, or the main title song and Get You Out by Atom. But this lakorn had a new song EVERY episode, and some came from Getsunova, which I love. But I was frustrated that they didn't recycle the new songs (only a few). That's why music is a low rating. Unlike other people, I dreaded Tor's Hua Jai Kaung Tur and I wished they would've kept Bie's Hua Jai Kaung Tur. The biggest comparison from the 2007 version and the 2019 one is the OST.
When rewatching Hua Jai Sila 2019, I find myself watching the beginning more than the ending of this. And I don't think I'll really rewatch the whole lakorn but rewatch clips on YouTube (as I do that for all of my lakorns). I really do love this lakorn and it was probably one of my favorites of 2019.

It was indeed a cute lakorn
Only Mark can pull off these being a jerk but has a soft side for the main girl in CH3. The storyline was meh, but I was totally there for the chemistry with Mark and Kao and their acting. I already liked Kao in her lakorn with Great and I already knew she was a great actress. They both portrayed their roles to what was expected. Kao made me hate Paeng for being so childish but sympathize her during her redemption as it was literally vice versa with Mark's Arthit. But literally Arthit's father gets the award for being the most patient man ever. He really could've just let Paeng fend for herself but he didn't, and he always supported her even when she was at her lowest. And I did like how Arthit's mother didn't easily forgive Paeng, because I would be furious as well. Deaw's acting in here was so good, playing the cold hearted, two faced Mark (lmaooo I can't get over that). I do really like how [SPOILER] Arthit helps Paeng confront her fear of loud sounds. I think it was unnecessary to have the whole Non and Paeng arc (but it helped fuel Arthit and Ling's jealousy) or even have Nang and Kot be a couple, but it's a lakorn lol.I do like the OSTs but the instrumentals. There's one instrumental that is literally the rhythm of the Canada anthem. If you are looking for it [SPOILER] look for when Non proposes to Ling. Whenever I heard that, I didn't even pay attention to the scene. It'll just be "Oh Canada, oh Canada".
Overall, I did like this lakorn. I actually laughed a lot more compared to other lakorns. LOL to [SPOILER] Kot and Nang kiss and it's Kot who freaks out first. That was hilarious. And I really did like their Mark and Kao's chemistry.

What's not to like about Great? *SPOILERS*
This lakorn overall is like every action and police procedural drama. And it reminds me why I don't watch dramas that purely focus on action and the police. But Great, Pop, and Phet did really good in their acting. Phet's charitable and generous exterior masked his psychotic-ness which he clearly, had grudges. His acting is really underrated. Pop is always a good actor in any drama that he acts. I felt really bad when San tried to propose to Ran. And Great, he conveys his authority and yet his calmness really well. The plot was meh and already predictable in the first episode. *Spoilers* I already knew Pop was going to die when he "redeemed" himself and with the story of how his mother died, I figured. The plot twist to this was of course Ran's eye and how Nat gave her his eye. Was it necessary to even have that whole situation? Honestly no. That part could've been deleted out and it would still be okay. But it does show how much Nat loves Ran. That he would do EVERYTHING for her. Literally. It was sad that during the last fight with Sunai, we are shown to see how Nat gave his eye to Ran and literally lied to her about it. But I really do love how Great plays these roles where he strongly expresses his love to the leading lady. He's so passionate whenever he does so. It also really shows that Nat would choose Ran over everything, including his career. San and Supika's relationship was lacking and I really couldn't tell when San had feelings for her (until his dad pointed it out).

WATCH IT FOR GREAT'S SMILE
I love it when Great plays these kinds of roles. Where he is a serious person but is protective and cares of the people he loves. And SMILES a lot. Great has the smile that makes your heart flutter, I tell you!I love the parallels between Rut and Suam. They may be different because of class, but they are the same. They never had a normal family, they feel obligated to be responsible for their families, and they have a great deal of gratitude. I love how Suam is never hesitant to tell Rut about the difference of their social classes. Great's acting is always superb, that's something I already know hahaha. And I really like Kao's acting too. I don't really watch her but I know she's talented. The chemistry between Great and Kao is strong. Just from them bickering you can see it. And their height is adorable. I love how easy it is for Rut to grab Suam by the waist so quick and easy.
Chai's acting as Sia Hua made me hate but at the same time pity him. Chai is a such a great actor, even the little things such as a stare can portray so much. I loved how at first, he's a person who doesn't show remorse but at the end is crazy because he has lost everything including his friend. I find it funny that Chai and Mick are brothers and when they interacted, I couldn't help but laugh. But I like how that didn't bother them at all.
The one thing I didn't like was Pie speaking Korean, it was cringy. But I do like how Padet goes full Korean and like proposes to Nueng. It was adorable.
I like the OST, no issues with that. Having Boy Peacemaker sing for the end title was a good choice. And I really liked when Kao's song came in the lakorn.
