Ye Hua finally puts Su Jin in her place *spoilers*

This episode was satisfying for 2 reasons. First, Ye Hua finally kisses Bai Qian (even if she doesn't remember him). He's such a jealous man.Secondly, when Su Jin asks tearfully if all the years she loved him meant nothing? He replied Yes. It means Nothing. GOOD FOR HIM! Hit her where it hurts. I'm still kind of mad he didn't tell Heaven Lord (his Grandfather) the truth, that man is a straight up moron! How could he be the leader? Idiot.

Endings and New Beginnings

Brings the Yakuza arc in episode 1 to a semi conclusion. We find out more about the sub-henchman, the boss, and there are hints that the Master has had a Yakuza type relationship in the past, somehow. Maybe that explains his facial scar.

Honor in any profession

The older lady, turns out to have been a celebrated stripper. Not famous for taking off her clothes, but famous because she knew the art of seduction by small movements. Even those who had seen her agree. She tells Marilyn not to be ashamed of the career she has chosen.

Still your daughter

The girl band star was a terrible actress, until Master gave her some advice to go with her sauce Yakisoba. The scene where her father sees the performance in a cinema is just heartbreaking. You know, no matter what happens, and whatever the situation (he's homeless, hints to mental illness) she's STILL his daughter.

Some risks are worth taking

People (like the main guy) get so caught up with just KEEPING up with life, that they lose the bigger picture. The lady dropped many hints, hints that he either refused to see, or was too scared to take action on. As a result he lost. If you don't play, you are automatically a loser, since you never even had a chance to win.

Food is always associated with powerful childhood memories. Or is it the other way around?

This episode was very, very moving. I still can't believe how sad I was watching this. Butter rice might be a simple dish (anyone who has rice and butter should be able to make this) but the sentimental attachment is to the memory of the dish, not the dish itself.
