As a long time kdrama addict, it's refreshing to find a kdrama like this.
I like a story that challenges me mentally, where i'm not struggling but still questioning what's happening, not because it's nonsense but there's something educational worth learning. Even after the drama has finished i find myself re-watching to see what more i can gleam. Unfortunately due to poor ratings the writer didn't have enough time to add more to this but maybe as kdramas go, this may have been a blessing, we'll never know. I'm baffled by his reactions in those different situations given his condition.
Aside from telling us what it was and what it means we had no real explanation which maybe was a good thing as i think my plot hole finding mind would have used that to pick at the drama.
I really disliked Park So Dam's character. She's supposed to be a traffic cop turned detective in the violent crimes division at that but she's literally not cut out for her own job. It is possible to ignore this lapse in logic so to speak as far as her character goes thanks to all else that is going on with the lead character and the politics behind the scenes, it's only difficult for about the first 4 episodes. If you can get through that it's worth it.
And aside from a few other mostly medical related plot holes, this is definitely my favourite show for the year. I thought i wouldn't have one this year, last year was Kill me Heal me and i was getting worried this year would just be the year of overly hyped shows that end up being nothing but disappointments but this one delivered almost every aspect.
Lastly, i don't tend to comment on OST but i will just say even if you don't watch the show, Bernard Park - Dirts. That is well worth listening to.
