i mainly watch k-dramas (have been for a couple of years now) but i love c-dramas and j-dramas too. 

my favourite genres are usually just general drama/romance, thriller/mystery, historical, and crime, but also fantasy/supernatural if it's well-executed, so it it really depends.  i prefer when romance isn't the main plot point/ doesn't over-shadow the rest of the story and enjoy anything with an intriguing political/ corruption subplot.  love things that break the boundaries of traditional asian dramas but if you look at my watchlist, i'm sure you'll find some more iconic dramas there, even if they're a bit cliche.  happy to receive recommendations :)

my ratings vary between being based upon the exceptional/disappointing elements of a drama, its production, acting etc., and my subjective sense of how much i enjoyed it, or how engrossed in the drama i was, so they're not necessarily always an objective guide as to whether or not i'd recommend watching it.   

also, i've developed a bad habit of starting a drama, becoming really invested in it and binge watching episodes for days/weeks, then just stopping watching it.  this is usually because i've either; started watching another drama; gotten right to the end of it and put off finishing it because i've become so attached; gotten bored during the uneventful mid-drama slump or perhaps during the calm resolution after the climax; become too busy and postponed finishing it, only to find it too difficult to finish the drama afterwards.  so...

i love reading and writing, philosophy, music (listening, playing instruments, singing, theory, composing... ), travel, history, and cooking/baking.
