Not what i expected.

That was my first thought after watching this movie.

Unfortunatley it wasn't in a good way. The story line definitely had potential. I mean anyone who knows me will admit that i love the rich boy meets girl falls in love blah blah blah storyline. A LOT. But that's exactly what this movie was for me 'blah blah blah.' The acting was alright, the music was better and overall it was an alright movie, but it wasn't incredibly funny, or light and cute, or even that romantic. IT WASN"T GREAT. If you need something to do than watch it. BUT, if you've got other things to watch than save yourself some time and don't watch it.

Okay so here's how this goes. As a somewhat Asian drama virgin I found this drama absolutely amazing. It is about the second drama i had seen and it left me wanting more. Now usually I wouldn't be pegged as the type to watch a drama with time travel but this one was totally worth it. The cast is amazing they bring the show to life. This drama was shot really well and there are more than a few stunning scenes that are utterly breathtaking. And the music. Well what can i say. You know how when you watch something you're like well lets skip the intro 'give me the good stuff.' I can truthfully say that i never once wanted to do that. The introducing song fits Bu Bu Jing Xin to a tee. In fact the drama as a whole is so worth watching. You may be apprehensive about watching this drama because, YES, i do realize 35 episodes is a lot. However, if you do watch this it will be completely worthwhile! In fact i have just started watching it again =)! And Yes, i do realize i only gave this drama an 8 for re-watch value. But, that was only because of the length of the drama. If your up for a bit of a marathon by all means join the rest of us and re-watch it because i can guarantee it's great.

I actually fell in love with this drama. The story line is amazing. You will definitely not be left disappointed! No, this isn't a childish romance between your average snooty guy and your average docile female character. There is something more-more mature perhaps. Now i will admit that when there's politics in the film i will be the first to start skipping, but, in Rich Man Poor Woman i couldn't. It is so beautiful and well made that you would be missing out if if you didn't watch it! Also a little hint to the ladies if you don't know by now; Oguri Shun (mighty fine) acts as the main male character. Hint hint nudge nudge.In fact the only real disappointment i had while watching this drama was that it ONLY had 11 episodes. So what are you doing people? Go. Be free. Watch this. You won't be disappointed!

You know that feeling when you're watching a really great drama and you can't even enjoy the last episode because well... it's the last episode. So you every other second you're checking the time, waiting. Well that's how i could describe watching every episode of this drama. I didn't want it to end!

Now, I know you could fight me on this and say why not get some perfectly capable Taiwanese male actors to play the part of Bu Po Shang and Dun Helian. However, as far as eye candy go and acting i think they did the job well. Not to mention Ivy Chen was simple adorable.The story is great and there wasn't a single episode that didn't leave me looking somewhat stupid laughing my head off.

Also if you're into romance than this is the drama for you. Who doesn't love a good romantic comedy? So all in all with a great story, good acting, music that goes well I can safely say that this is great drama to watch and perfectly good to re-watch.

Watch it!
P.s if you get stuck on episode 1 it gets sooooooooo much better!!!

OK.... so a lot of you seem to be thinking that this is just another girly chick flick and that you don't think you'll watch it because it's too cliche. Well then STOP. Whats wrong with cliche. It's cliche becasue so many people LIKE it. The story was great.. who doesn't like a romantic comedy with a twist. The main leads have great chemistry and even i couldn't guess the secret until the very end. The music, however, was amazing. It was cute when it needed to be, light and enjoyable. I loved this movie. There isn't a limit to how many times you can watch a romantic comdey. SOoooo, if you were having doubts.... then put them all behind you because this is a great movie and you'd be missing out on a very cute story!

This movie is great! The perfect thing if you've had a tough day at work or even just need a quick movie fix. When you break it down into it separate components one could even say it's great. The story line was very good. And to all those haters i thought that it was a different but great way to integrate English and Korean together. I think that Henney Daniel and Uhm Jung Hwa did this very convincingly. It was hot(yummy topless scene), light, cute and funny all rolled into one. The music fit the movie great and I am living proof that you can watch it many times without feeling bored. However, taking all this into account there were times within the film where I felt the characters were unlikable. I won't say where they were (because that would be spoiling), but it definitely left me thinking about the movie as a whole. It wasn't the acting; that was superb. It was just what they were acting. However, after saying all of that, some scenes more than make up for it

This is definitely at must see film!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize technically speaking i shouldn't have put this here. But for the life of me i couldn't figure out how to put in a synopsis.

Ken Zhu plays a guy named Luo Jia Jun (Robert) , who is the son of a corporate raider. He is rich, but his dad's company is starting to lose money. Robert needs to get land from a girl named Ding Dong, Jiang Mu Yun (Michelle Chen), but instead, he falls in love with her. If he doesn't get the land, then he must marry a girl who is able to keep his dad's company going. Yang Wen Tai (Wu Zhong Tian), plays another rich guy. Yang Wen Tai happens to be friends with Ding Dong, but she doesn't know that he is the manager of this huge company. He pretends he is just a salary man at the company. Who will she end up with?

I would like to say that enjoyed watching this drama but that would be a lie. The story was alright, but not great. I would definitely not recommend this to someone with high standards. In fact the music was better than the acting. Now I'm down for all kinds of drama's in fact some of my all time favorites are gender benders like Hana Kimi, You're Beautiful and the currently airing To The Beautiful You. However, in this case it just didn't work. This is one perhaps the first drama that has left me disappointed. If you want to give it a go i won't stop you but don't say I didn't warn you!
