I absolutely loved this drama! If I wasn't crying, I was laughing. The lead actress is so funny, she had me crying in tears half the time with her antics. The drama is really funny but it also has a serious part to it that will keep you on edge. I usually don't like unrealistic dramas like this but never before have I loved a drama more, this drama just takes the cake. The songs were amazing, the acting wasn't awkward at all, everything just flowed smoothly and came together so nicely at the end. This drama will leave you wanting more, not because it had an unsatisfying ending but because you want to see how the cutest couple in drama history(Ok I may be exaggerating a bit)is doing. In other words, this is a drama I think everyone would enjoy. definite 10/10
The music was amazing, I love dramas that focus around classical music. The actors/actresses had me so emotional throughout the whole drama. Yoo seul was a really dynamic character. So was cha sik and jin mok. They all had their own stories and also their own resolutions that they came to at the end. Although their own side stories were nicely developed and closed well. the relationship between the three should have been wrapped up a little better than it was. It left many of us with so many questions (us being the Viki comment section community). That's why I gave it a 9 in story rating. The ending was satisfying but at the same time it left you thinking things like 'Wait, that's it?' or 'But what about cha sik or yoo seul'. I gave the rewatch value a 6 because I am more than likely not going to rewatch unless I am feeling like seeing a good piano drama. I would rate it higher but the ending left me with so many mixed emotions that I didn't like it. So I felt an 8.5 is a good overall rate because it wrapped up what was most important and it was a great story and I enjoyed it. Not giving it full points though because now I am stuck coming up with how these guys proceeded around each other. But you should definitely watch it then reply to me and tell me what you think happened after it ended.
If you are looking for a romantic crime drama that is fun to follow then this is not for you. If you're looking for a nice in-between light drama then you'll love this. I saw this was a mystery, crime and romance drama and thought that this was going to be great but I only felt disappointed when I finished it. They had a great plot, to begin with, but then it turned all fluffy and then there was no crime or mystery. The acting was ok so that was good because bad acting would make this drama not even worth watching. Although this was a mini-drama I believe this could have been so much better if it were a bit more serious. Judging from the comment section I can tell most people were hoping for it to go deeper and explore the plot.
I give it an overall 3 and the only reason it gets a 3.0 instead of a 1.0 is because I don't think I ever gave a drama a 1.0 and because its a mini-series so to be realistic I can't expect ten minute episodes to be as deep as an hour episode only so much they could fit. That being said I think it would make a great 16 episode drama if they took the plot and explored with it. So 3.0 for a nice try!
