Felt like a different drama
From the first time i saw the trailer, I was scared that it would be too different from the first season. The whole feel of the drama felt forced, not just the storyline but also the shots and pacing. Because of the change of directors, the season felt like a whole different drama compared to the first. While the first season had more of this lighthearted, comic feel to it, this season had a more serious, adult vibe. At first, I thought this would be appropriate since this is where they mature but it lost some of the dramas charm. Even though the first had this lighthearted vibe, it didn't take away from the seriousness of situations. This season made the maturity and seriousness feel forced. The setting are also all different than the previous season which made it further feel like youre watching a whole different drama. The school, the houses, the convience store. Like, they had to change the CU to a 7-Eleven. Even though it had 2 episodes less than the previos, the pacing made it feel longer. And the OSTs was forgettable, unlike the first.
Eventhough I dont agree with the ending, i didnt like that the relationships weren't developed that much and it made me not sympathize with Jojo unlike the previous season. The drama didn't solve Jojo's real problem: running away. From the very start, when things get hard, she runs. She said that she put on the sheild to "protect" Sunoh, at first sure, i can see that, but when Sunoh found out about it, "all she can think about was Hyeyoung". Like, girl, you gave this guy that was so in love with you, hell for 4 years, and now he knows about it, you can't even think about how you've hurt him. She didn't give Sunoh the proper apology that he deserves. She said she loved him, but she loved herself more, leading to both their suffering. And with all this, unresolved problems, she runs to Hyeyoung. It felt like just because he's Hyeyoung, she should end up with him.
With all this, I think the story and especially the direction the director chose in filming this season is really disappointing. I think even if the story turn out the same but had the same style, or even the same colour palette of the first season, I would have enjoyed it more because it would connect; but from the first episode, I already knew this wasn't the same drama I waited for. I felt like it wasted the 2 years I waited for this drama. It made me hate Jojo and made me feel bad for Hyeyoung and Sunoh. I'll just pretend this season never happened.

It deserves to be full length drama
Firstly, I just love all the concepts of the production company that produced this, most of them are really unique. This is the second utopian themed web drama from them, and I truly enjoyed this. The plot and its message nicely executed. I really hope this gets a second season. The plot is really what makes this an amazing web drama, it is something I have never seen before, especially in a web drama scale. It is well developed, that it are compare to larger scale drama with longer episodes. The story isn't at all a stereotypical, all fluff high school concept, but you can still see the chemistry of the two main leads. They don't sacrifice the actors' good looks over good acting either.
The only thing that I think will make will this drama better is if it had longer and more episodes. The plot is quite complex in itself, with only 8 episodes, it isn't able expand on more aspects of the plot. Nonetheless, it is a great drama that is well produced and deserves to be watched.

The main couple made watching it bearable
I don't know where to start with this.So I've held back on watching this because I've seen previews on youtube, and it was confusing, and watching it made it more confusing. So I don't normally need the synopsis' of dramas and I go by deciding whether to watch them by casts, posters, previews and stuff like that, so going into the drama without much knowledge was a mistake.
The drama chooses to go start to the plot without much reasoning or explanation and with a drama with this time traveling-body swap plot is a mistake. From the first episode, it is also evident that the production had a smaller budget compared to dramas of the same kind. The budget is not only evident in the sets, side characters but also in the script itself. With such a complex storyline, the drama really suffers because of the poor writing. The story suffer from many plot holes, what feel like last minute decisions and decisions for convience. The writing didnt seem very well thought out. I had had to check the synopsis to get the essence of the story and considering this is an adaptation, i guess i expect the story to be more put together.
The visuals of the set already made it hard to watch and then the poor script made it even harder. At the first few episodes of the drama, I found it hard to believe that many people actually found this enjoyable considering that this is about to have a third season and the rating this has on here. I tried to continue watching despite hating it, just to see what made people like this.
Because of the poor writing, I didn't even notice when the ML started becoming fond of the FL but as the relationship grew, I started to understand. It was all in their chemistry, they had really cute, sweet scenes that makes you giddy. I love the ML's glaze and how showy he is about his feelings, which not as common in other dramas. My favourite character has to be Jing Xin, the actress portrays her very nicely, it's sad that in the middle towards the end of the drama, she was absent for a lot of the episodes. Either than that, this drama was trash, really. The story is just so iffy because of the writing.
The main point is if you dont really care about the story and just care about the romantic parts, the skip button's your best friend. The main couple was really cute, the story's a blackhole and that's about it.
