An interesting ride...The curveballs kept me wondering wth else could happen in just 24 episodes.
Would I watch it again? Probably not. It's not bad, but the drama has MAJOR plot holes that are never fully explained - it could have been a great drama if everything was explained, but they throw you a curveball, brush it off, and then throw you another curveball again. It's a 24-episode drama, but they probably would have needed 40 episodes to flesh out all the unanswered questions I have that they just glossed over. If you're looking for something that passes the time then sit back, relax, and watch this, the curveballs do keep you watching. If you are a person that methodically criticizes dramas and plot lines you will probably find this incredibly frustrating. There was nothing wrong with the acting it really just feels like there wasn't enough time to properly explain the story. Also. if you are looking for a heavy dose of romance you aren't really going to find it here -yes there is romance and a few kisses, but I found myself caring less about Xiao Mu's relationship storyline. They were good together but not as interesting as Song Ci's romance storyline, which honestly seemed to have more of a spark.
Definitely watch, it's an interesting ride that doesn't get boring, but this for me was more of a show-hole filler...a drama that I'll probably remember because my brain still can't fully comprehend Xiao Mu & company's almost complete lack of reaction to the Yao Meng Gui "birthday party" curveball... If you watch the show you'll understand what I'm talking about. It left me wondering WTF is wrong with these people??? - like, was I the only one that would have been majorly traumatized if this happened to me, yet every character barely seemed to bat an eye...and no remorse seems to be shown and no explanation was given (unless I completely missed it) that can justify Yao Meng Gui's escalation of that scene.

Not what I expected from the hype....
So, I waited to watch this because it got a lot of hype when it first came out, but it really wasn't what I expected. If you get attached to side characters easily this is NOT the drama for you! Imagine King2Hearts. Don't get me wrong, the acting was great, but the story line was what I had a problem with like why tf couldn't they just kill Kim Cha-eon?!? I mean they did a horrible job of explaining why he couldn't just be "accidentally" pushed down a flight of stairs, or poisoned. They had NO problem killing everyone else. I don't know, I just felt there were too many plot holes -I felt like Ae Weol, Dong-joo, and Yoon Seok-ha were all done wrong in this drama and Prince Seowon really didn't have enough of a part in the series.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
This is not the smutfest people are saying - basically filler drama with skinship scenes
Honestly , I decided to watch purely because the comments on a few lists said it was , and I quote, "VERY SMUTTY" , and because of that I was kinda disappointed. Story is a basic filler drama level - it's fine, but the whole bdsm thing barely gets past the first episode . And really the only "racy" thing is bare chested men scattered throughout the episodes ( like taking a shower, or at the beach/ pool) one bed scene in episode 1 and two shower scenes . The main couple have like two short "smutty" scenes and then like 4-5 kisses throughout the entire series and that's it... Episode 10 with the bodyguard shower threesome is probably the spiciest episode.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Do yourself a favor and watch all but the last 11 minutes
This would have been great and checked almost all my boxes for an easygoing drama, except they didn't finish the storylines for the side characters then they went wonky with the end - don't get me wrong it still ends happily ever after, which is a requirement for me to watch. I just feel like they threw a curveball at the end that didn't contribute anything to the story and left me with a confused wtf expression and questions that will never be answered. I liked the little world they built , it would have been better if they just ended ep 26 at 32:42 then I wouldn't be wondering what was actually real.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
